My six-year-old granddaughter had a knot in her hair so severe that we were honestly prepared for the worst--we thought she might end up with a buzz cut in the back. Instead of taking the easy way out, the stylists treated her with such kindness and respect. They spent several hours patiently working through the tangles, even providing her with hot chocolate to keep her comfortable while they worked their magic. After a thorough treatment, steaming, and a careful trim, the results were absolutely fantastic. Most importantly, my granddaughter was thrilled with how she looked. They turned what could have been a traumatic experience into a wonderful afternoon of pampering. We are so grateful for their skill and their compassion. Highly recommended!

She burned me multiple times and ended up needing advice about heat temp and technique by the manager. She also tried to post before and after results of my hair even though on the form I signed when I first came in I specifically noted that I didn't want to have my pictures on social media. Afterwards, I asked how I should upkeep it and she just said to wrap it. I asked how to do that and she said "I don't know." I looked like Kate Middleton with a bad blow out the next day. The next time I came to just get a trim. The stylist only asked one question about if I was allergic to rosemary (even though I already wrote that in the intake form). She also parted my hair directly in my face and left the store (like actually clocked out) while I was under the hair dryer and told someone in passing to ring me up in 15 min. Last but not least I got my hair finger coiled and to be honest I was for once extremely happy with the result. The stylist answered all my questions and I was left very satisfied despite taking three hours. The only reason I've come back is that I have a bday gift card I'm trying to use up. Otherwise I'd never walk in again. It shouldn't have taken me three different services by three different stylist to be happy.

Throughout the appointment, the stylist repeatedly asked me questions about how to do the cut, which immediately made me uncomfortable and unsure about her experience with textured/ethnic hair. Unfortunately, the haircut turned out very poorly. Rather than embarrassing the stylist in front of others, I respectfully paid, left, and later took my son to a Black barber who corrected the haircut and gave him the clean, professional look we originally requested.Afterward, I contacted the salon simply requesting a refund for the unsatisfactory service. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, the manager insisted that I drive all the way back so they could "assess" and attempt to fix the haircut themselves. That was unacceptable to me. Hair does not magically grow back overnight, and after the first experience, I had absolutely no confidence in allowing the same salon to touch my son's hair again. As a parent of an autistic child, I also found this request insensitive. My son had already gone through the stress and discomfort of the first appointment. Putting him through another uncomfortable experience for a mistake the salon made felt unfair and inconsiderate. What should have been a simple refund request turned into an unnecessarily difficult and confrontational conversation. The manager came across as dismissive, aggressive, and far more concerned about holding onto $22 than providing good customer service or accountability. Her communication and management skills were extremely unprofessional.Additionally, during the appointment, another employee stood nearby staring at my son in a way that made both of us uncomfortable while I was trying to get him settled. The overall environment lacked professionalism, compassion, and respect. I initially chose not to leave a negative review because I wanted to handle the matter privately and respectfully. However, after the way this situation was handled, I feel obligated to share my experience so other parents especially parents of children with special needs and families looking for stylists experienced with ethnic hair can make informed decisions.This situation could have been resolved easily with professionalism, empathy, and accountability. They have a great staff very friendly and polite do a great job of making you feel welcome they always make sure to check on you to see if you need a drink they send you reminders of when your hair appointment so you don't forget and it's always very easy to get in touch with them if something comes up and you can't make your appointment. They are located in town center so after you get your hair done and your hungry there is a lot of options for food out there.
