    Ribeye steak & baked potato

I ordered a ribeye steak to go , complete with a baked potato, salad and a roll . Let me tell you it WAS AMAZING !! They even included butter and sour cream for the potato and roll. The flavor was 10/10 ! My only disappointment was the roll , wish it was baked fresh from the oven , but still good.

A small, dark restaurant (hence the name "Hideaway") for a cozy dinner. Dined here with my uncle and auntie, and had a very nice meal. We started off with sharing the cheese squares which were by far my favorite. Lightly fried, not too greasy, melty and gooey. I had a crispy side salad brought to me first as part of my meal. The blue cheese dressing tastes homemade and was very good. The salad is just a small plate of ice berg lettuce cut into pieces, nothing to write home about. The fried pickles appetizer was just meh, not sure if it was the breading that was underwhelming or that they were too salty. Not crispy enough. My main meal was Shrimp (grilled) and hash browns - ! - on the side. Hash browns as a dinner side dish?? YES please. I inhaled it. The shrimp was served on a skewer and were enormous pieces, perfectly grilled. It is a menu catering to the carnivores mostly, lots of steak and pork. If I didn't eat fish or seafood I would have been in bad shape as I don't think there was a vegetarian item on the menu (besides salad). Very limited if you don't eat any of the above. They also have chicken. It is a popular local place, and my parents used to frequent here back in the 70s and 80s. It is not my favorite place in the area due to the limited pescatarian/vegetarian items on the menu, but it is good food and service overall.

    Delmonico ribeye with onions.

This place is amazing. I ordered the stuffed cod. It had crab and scallops in the stuffing and was in sauce. So good!! My husband got the Delmonico ribeye. Yum!! Our orders came with salad and lots of good options dressings , plus fresh bread. We both got old fashioned and they were delicious too. Our server was really cool!! I can't wait to go back.

The place has very good food. Trust me. The menu is pretty standard among nice family dinner places.

Worth the Drive - One of the Best Pizzas I've Ever Had**…read more If you're looking for authentic Neapolitan pizza, make the trip to **Iniga Pizzeria Napoletana** in DeKalb. It is, without question, some of the best pizza I've ever eaten! Every pizza arrives beautifully blistered with that signature airy, chewy crust that only a true wood-fired oven can produce. The ingredients are exceptional--from imported San Marzano tomatoes and creamy mozzarella to fresh herbs and premium toppings. Each pizza is handcrafted, simple, and absolutely bursting with flavor. Our favorites? Mais Pizza - sweet corn, creamy cheese, and just the right amount of char...unexpected and unforgettable. Hot White Pizza - rich, spicy, and incredibly satisfying. Pesto & Burrata - fresh, vibrant, and decadent with perfectly creamy burrata. San Marzano Tomato & Sausage - classic done to perfection. Sometimes the simplest combinations are the very best. The menu extends well beyond pizza with charcuterie, salads, gelato, desserts, cocktails, beer, and wine, plus gluten-free crust options for those who need them. If I had one suggestion, it would be to refresh the indoor atmosphere a bit. The food deserves an interior that matches its quality and creativity. The outdoor patio, however, is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal on a beautiful day. Brent as your server will take up another notch! And here's a bonus..Monday is half-price pizza. You'll probably find me there. Iniga doesn't just serve pizza--it delivers an authentic taste of Naples right here in Illinois. It's a destination restaurant that's absolutely worth the drive. Highly recommended!

We decided to drop in since it had just opened, and we wanted to see what they had to offer. If you look at the name "pizzeria napoletana" you may get the idea that this isn't Pizza Hut. It isn't. This is (according to my wife who has been to Naples in Italy) pizza the Napoletanese way. Thin crusts, interesting toppings, and different than mainstream American pizza. When we arrived we were promptly greeted at the door as we walked in, and given a choice of bar or dining room seating. We selected the dining room. Both areas were warm and comfortable, with the usual things in the bar (big screen TV) and dining room (art on the walls, nice tables and chairs, nice booths). We started with the Bagna Cauda, which was delicious. It seemed to be a little light on the garlic compared to my friend's version of the dish, but it was still good. It was served with bread, fennel, pepper and zucchini for dipping. It could have fed 4. For pizzas, my wife ordered their Margherita Verace, and I ordered their Puttanesca pizza. The Puttanesca had green olives, brown olives and white anchovies. The crust was very thin - so thin that I ended up cutting this with my knife and using my fork. I couldn't even fold it - the crust is very soft. I tried my wife's Margherita Verace, and it was similar in crust. It had lots of good stuff on it, and tasted good. Drinks were reasonably sized. I had a glass of wine which was fresh, and my wife after trying to order (and pronounce) Raganrok found that they were out of the sweet mead, so she went with a Negroni instead, which she said was quite good. The bathrooms were clean, but chilly in temperature. I hit the hot air hand dryer as I walked out in an effort to warm up the space. Clean, all fixtures worked, and well kept. The question boils down to this: Are you willing to experience pizza the way it was originally made - or not. If you are willing, you should try this place out. If you aren't willing - well, that's on YOU to change. You're missing a lot.

Definitely don't judge an establishment based on what it looks like from the outside…read more This looked like someone's house but you walk in and it's a cozy restaurant with an amazing patio. We were seated in their second dining room which was away from the bar and main dining room. We were kinda bummed we got sat there but it ended up being ok. There was a large party seated behind us so it was quite noisy. We ordered martinis which were good. For an appetizer we got the fried pickles and those were delicious. Full of dill pickle flavor and the breading was very light. I ordered the salmon and sautéed spinach which was one of the specials. My dinner companion hit the rib eye and blackened shrimp. Both entrees came with a salad and the steak with a potato. Our appetizer and salads came out right away. The salad was very disappointing. Only lettuce pretty much, no tomatoes or anything else. I think it might have had cucumber. Very lack luster. My salmon and spinach was great!! I enjoyed it and the salmon portion was generous. I had enough to take home. The ribeye was cooked medium rare as requested and it was very good. Shrimp was great and had a nice spice to it. The French fries were cold though. Service was ok. I would definitely try them out again but be warned that they are a bit overpriced. Parking is terrible and you need a reservation. The patio was nice and I loved the fire places. There was live music that night. Overall good place for maybe a special occasion.
