Eh, it was honestly just ok. When I bit the sandwich at times it tastes like a 3 star, other times like no better than 2 1/2. But I lean towards 3 automatically because I prefer to see business do good. I ended up getting the tooth fairy on a whole sub. My friend had the chicken salad sub. POSITIVES: Bread was good & fresh just like the cold cuts & Cole slaw. They definitely take care of their product. Presentation from how the sandwich was put together, & the Turkey portion was THE BEST. Not too much where it only tasted like Turkey & pastrami, but just the right amount to make it a hefty sandwich where all the ingredients complimented each other. Wrapping & bagging is worthy of mention, great job. NEGATIVES: It was mostly Turkey with a tiny amount of pastrami, like one slice, MAYBE two. The Turkey did not taste like it was a good brand. It didn't have a bad taste, it just wasn't great quality. It would have been a better experience if the Cole slaw wasn't drowned in thousand islands dressing. Since the pastrami was so little it really doesn't make sense to put that dressing on it. Some bites the meat & cheese were nice & warm & other bites it was pretty cold, that inconsistency threw me off. As for the chicken salad sub, my friend had better & also gave it a 3. CUSTOMER SERVICE: The young lady did great in putting things together. Seemed to be a great employee as far as performance, she may need a little improvement with friendliness. Can't say she was rude but a bit stand offish. Friendliness goes a long way. Overall, when you compare the price for quality, I honestly wouldn't come back here again. I had another few items from this spot once again. This time I had the Miss Malley sandwich. It was made up of turkey, bacon, melted Swiss, pepperoni, tomatoes, onion, and Shedd's sauce. This was okay. It was not as filled as previous sandwiches I had from here. I would have liked to see a little more pepperoni present. It was definitely an interesting combination, but it failed to meet expectations for me. The Shedd's sauce seemed to be similar to Russian dressing. The bread was great like usual. I also had two of their homemade cookies, oatmeal chocolate chunk and M&M chocolate chip. Again, these were alright. The oatmeal needed more chocolate present. The M&M one was too soft as it broke fairly easily. It did not seem like this particular one was cooked all the way. The taste was there, but just not executed to perfection. read more

On my long trek to the north I took a brief pause at the small cookshop known to locals as "Annie's Deli" - an unassuming stop that housed a great variety of delicacies. The kind young lass at the counter showed us a great kindness. I chose a simple meal, egg perched upon fine wheat. With great haste they prepared my treat, as fast the morning bird sung its song, I received my meal. If you like sandwiches and subs this place is legit! They have fun names for all the sandwiches and you can custom order a sandwich if you like. I get the Baby Snooks or Tooth Fairy because I love coleslaw and Russian dressing in a sandwich. They make sandwiches faster than you can order them! The service is great! I called Annie's Deli on a Friday for a sandwich platter for Saturday afternoon. The woman that I spoke to was very helpful with her guidance as to how many sandwiches to order, how they would be prepared and how they would be presented on the platter. These are the types of details I wanted to hear since there were not too many pictures available of their catering online. She advised that I should pick the sandwiches I'd like on the platter and they would arrange them. The platter came with pickles on the side and I had asked for paper plates and napkins for the party, which were neatly wrapped and provided upon pickup. Thank you! Now for the sandwiches - there is such a great variety on the menu that I was able to select a little something for everyone. The platter was a hit and nobody was disappointed that there were a few leftovers, everyone was happy to take some for lunch the next day. Good sandwich. Would have preferred a better selection of Pepsi products to drink. Crazy tiny space where we could not get out of anyone else's way. We walked in alone (when we pulled up we thought it was closed as no one else was there; another customer stormed up and inside before we could get to the door) except for one person ahead of us picking up an order and within moments there were at least another ten people inside. Hello, I'm from Oregon I travel to New Jersey once a year for 7 days, for golf. I found Annie's deli my first year in NJ. I and my travel partner got sandwich's from Annie's deli and just continued to go 3-4 times that first year. This year August of 2023. I returned to Annie's Deli. Oh my gosh they remembered me from last year. I feel as if I've made new friends!! But what your really interested in is the food, Amazing, delicious, quickly prepared, lots of sandwich choices and the deserts, pickles and salads are so yummy. Plus the ladies are so dang sweet and kind!!!!! I wish there was an Annie's deli in Oregon. I'd call Uber eats to have a sandwich delivered to me in Oregon, I think it would be cost prohibitive. Low brow deli of the highest caliper. This Deli knows whats up. They are lightning fast on the slicer so you will not be standing around with your thumb up your instgram. They pile it high, and they construct a proper sammie. As you know my yelping friend.. a good sandwich is 65% ingredients, 40% bread, 25% toppings, and 85% construction. Check my math fool... then order the junkyard dog... because as I mentioned.. it is all about the construction. They have the ratios right so you don't just a mouth full of salty sliced meat.. they get the russian dressing all up in there and cheese is in the right place. topping that wrapped sammie off w/a slice of pickle.. so you can shove food in your pie hole before you unwrap the food. When my office relocated around the corner from Annie's every one rejoiced that we would now be in the presence of a true, living NJ legend. He was so sweet and attentive and helped me order all the food for the entire bridal party. Everyone was RAVING about the food (get the French toast casserole and thank me later) and generous portions. He delivered right on time as he said he would and set everything up so nice for us. This place is tiny but is packed with so many different and unique deli sandwich options! When I went, I tried the Lou Rehr and it was amazing! There is a very generous amount of liverwurst in the sandwich and I'm not sure what Shedd's sauce is made of, but it was phenomenal and complimented the rest of the sandwich really well. The price was reasonable for what you get and it was filling enough for me to save the other half of the sandwich for another meal. Service was really fast despite there only being 2 people working when I went. My 2 friends and I were out of there in less than 10 minutes despite there being other orders ahead of us.
