What a great local spot right inside the train station. Service was super friendly, and helped with my friends kids orders no problem! Everything was made fresh including a lot of the sauces. I got a roast pork sandwich that was great. Pork was tender and dipped in au jus, layered with garlicky spinach that was super fragrant and some provolone (recommended) . If you are in the area stop by for a great meal.

One server who is good at her job but she totally rubbed me the wrong way. Searched Yelp for a breakfast spot and found this one open until 3pm but they don't serve breakfast past 11:30am despite listed as a brunch spot. Had the quiche and the eggs weren't fully cooked to my liking. It was a decent spot. But I wasn't impressed. Customer service goes a long way with me but they missed the mark this time.

Our car club decided to hold a cars and coffee meet-up in the parking lot of the train station where Butler's Pantry Trackside is located. We arrived early and treated ourselves to breakfast from the menu on the chalk board. They have a tempting one option with a dish of pancakes, bacon, eggs, home fries and toast but the amount of food seemed a little heavy for me so I opted for their cheese omelette and bacon. It came with home fries and I added coffee and OJ - glad I did too. (Maybe next time I'll go for the big meal??) The eggs were cooked exactly as requested (I like my eggs "tight" not runny) and the bacon arrived perfectly crisp and hot (hard to do, in my experience). Bravo! The OJ tasted fresh squeezed and I could have ordered a second and maybe third glass. I forgot to ask if it really was fresh squeezed but non-the-less, it was yummy. I was a little disappointed by the home fries - I like mine with a little spice and a bit crispier. I didn't ask for hot sauce (my bad) and on my next visit (our car club will be back) I'll ask for a little more crispiness on the potatoes and a splash of hot sauce. I did not pull a star since my friend loved his home fries - he does not eat spicy foods so his potatoes were perfect for him. Overall, I think this is a terrific local find. The people running the kitchen know their craft and happily respond to requests for how things are done (my friend asked for his omelette to be less cooked than mine and he raved about the excellent results - he ate every morsel). Atmospheric place, comfortable interior, friendly servers, skilled kitchen man and fair prices. I think this is cool local find worthy of a visit - RECOMMENDED. See you there.

Quaint little spot right in the fair hills train station, you might miss it if you didn't know it was there. It has a decent selection of sandwiches and lunch items. Processed our order online and it was ready in 20 minutes. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a TV inside (not pictured) Worth a try if you're in the area!

Stopped for lunch the other day, large & very good cheeseburger with fries, I've also had they're broasted chicken & assorted breakfast items. Friendly server & quick turnaround time in the kitchen & great for watching NJ Transit trains pass on the Gladstone Line.

Great local spot owned by a great couple. Food is always fresh. Such a historic spot. Always support local. Great pies during thanksgiving and Christmas are. A Family tradition

The steamer dish , Off the charts !!!

Every layer of the sub was thoroughly planned out with a good amount of each topping. There was a great ratio of the filling to the bread. The bread was the key though. It was soft in the middle, while having a little bite on the outer edge. Most of the condiments were on the side, and I did not even need to add any because of how good and flavorful the sub was by itself. Will I go back? I did not actually attend, but would head there.

It wasn't too busy when we arrived, so we were seated right away, which was a great start. The decor feels a bit old-fashioned, but the dining room was spacious and comfortable, and I appreciated that it wasn't overly loud. Our waiter was patient, attentive, and genuinely lovely. We started with the spinach dip, and that was delicious. For the main, we ordered the half baby back ribs with coleslaw and steamed broccoli. The broccoli and coleslaw were a bit bland, but the ribs...Tenderism! Absolutely tender, flavorful, and easily the star of the meal. Dessert looked nice but honestly wasn't very memorable. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Delicious Heights if you're in the area, especially for the ribs. We enjoyed ourselves and plan on going back.

But I lean towards 3 automatically because I prefer to see business do good. I ended up getting the tooth fairy on a whole sub. My friend had the chicken salad sub. POSITIVES: Bread was good & fresh just like the cold cuts & Cole slaw. They definitely take care of their product. Presentation from how the sandwich was put together, & the Turkey portion was THE BEST. Not too much where it only tasted like Turkey & pastrami, but just the right amount to make it a hefty sandwich where all the ingredients complimented each other. Wrapping & bagging is worthy of mention, great job. NEGATIVES: It was mostly Turkey with a tiny amount of pastrami, like one slice, MAYBE two. The Turkey did not taste like it was a good brand. It didn't have a bad taste, it just wasn't great quality. It would have been a better experience if the Cole slaw wasn't drowned in thousand islands dressing. Since the pastrami was so little it really doesn't make sense to put that dressing on it. Some bites the meat & cheese were nice & warm & other bites it was pretty cold, that inconsistency threw me off. As for the chicken salad sub, my friend had better & also gave it a 3. CUSTOMER SERVICE: The young lady did great in putting things together. Seemed to be a great employee as far as performance, she may need a little improvement with friendliness. Can't say she was rude but a bit stand offish. Friendliness goes a long way. Overall, when you compare the price for quality, I honestly wouldn't come back here again. This place is NOWHERE near a 4 1/2 in my opinion, but I hope they do well.

First of all the town is so quaint and beautiful and includes the PGA golf museum and headquarters - perfect place to stop after a hectic day in and around NYC. I arrived to this deli/market about 10 minutes after 5pm (they close at 6). The head guy told me they would make my sandwich but typically they stop making sandwiches at 5 - he was super nice about it. Everyone working there was incredibly nice and it's definitely a place locals come to buy sandwiches and fish/steak/chicken/pastas/prepared foods/homemade dinners/desserts. Everyone was chatting with each other and they included me in the conversation as it's got a very friendly atmosphere! A local guy was going to purchase some salmon to grill at home and the guy working told him it was the last day for that particular fish to get fresh tomorrow - I loved the honesty in front of everyone and the customer decided to get something else. The sandwich I got was the Chicken Cutlet. Nice compact sandwich with delicious and fresh ingredients. The bread was perfect for me - not too hard and not too soft. The price was also incredibly reasonable and the cutlet, mozzarella and tomato were all full of flavor - A+ sandwich. I got some local peach tea they sell there (they had a few flavors) and I must say it's one of the most delicious peach teas I've ever had!
