Every time I've come through Lincoln Annie's was closed so it was a huge bonus to get there right as she was opening (she actually opened a few minutes early to accommodate us.) I have traipsed the world and never been to a coffee shop as relaxing, personal or enjoyable. The drinks are exceptional, but the company and the coziness are unsurpassed. Annie can seat you in the sunshine in the summer, or by a wood stove in the winter. She has ruined me forever. No other coffee joint - from Cremona to Calgary or anywhere in between, will ever compare. As far as conversation, you can hear or share many accounts of Billy the Kid from many credible sources. The house is audit with cool front and back sitting areas and decor. Now on to the coffee bar.........the salted Carmel pecan cookies are the best. Freshly made with fresh ingredients as well. Buy one to eat and dine to go you'll be glad you did. Just the perfect combo of salty and sweet. The mint lemonade was fantastic too. Just tart and sweet enough to quench your thirst. Had to go back for a refill. Reasonable prices and it's right across from the visitors center. Everything is walking distance too. You will not regret a stop here. Nice a gift? What a great find! Awesome coffee and homemade baked goods! Very relaxing atmosphere. The scones are delicious as well as the cookies. I wish this coffee shop was near me! My friend and I were on a road trip and decided to come through town for the museum's and Billy the Kid stuff. Before leaving town, we decided to stop for some coffee, oh am I glad we did! The coffee shop itself is super cute and has so much art to look at and buy. There is a lot of options for coffee on the menu and also fresh muffins and scones. My friend and I both decided to try the chimayo-chino (or something like that), it was a cappuccino made with chimayo red Chile. I know, it may sound really weird to have Chile in you coffee, but believe me, it was just the right amount for a little kick and went well with the Ghirardelli chocolate in the cappuccino. So if you are ever in the area, you should definitely give it a try! On our way from Socorro, NM, to Roswell we were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled onto this cute coffee place! Desperate for some good coffee we thought we'd try it based on the previous yelp reviews. The shop is in a rustic old house with lots of art on the walls. The music playing was from the 1940's era, which made us feel like we'd stepped back in time. The owner made our drinks and was very friendly! My iced decaf almond milk latte was super good, as was my 10 year old daughter's homemade lemonade with mango syrup-she's hard to please so this must have been SOME lemonade! My husband had four shots of iced espresso which he also loved. We were even able to bring our little Yorkshire terrier in and they gave us a water dish on the back patio area for her to have a sip. This was a lovely find in a seemingly desolate stretch of hwy. We will definitely stop in again on our next trip!!! read more

While drinking our coffees, we met a New-Yorker whose father was a cowboy in the area in the 20's. Was neat to hear about his stories with a cowboy dad in suburban New York. read more
