I gave this place a couple of tries, maybe 3. I don't remember the exact number. For my last visit, I made an appointment for Gel X a month in advance. A few days before my appointment, they asked me to move my appointment. I gave a courtesy of booking ahead. I kept my appointment date and time but changed it to a gel mani. I get there, and they can't find my appointment. They called me three times to reschedule my original Gel X appointment, and each time I told them I would show up for a Gel manicure. When they finally found my appointment, they switched me to the nail technician assigned to me. She was very sweet and took her time with my service. If this employee worked elsewhere, I would follow her for my nail services. During this visit, only some customers were asked to fill out the Covid form and have their temperature checked. Regular customers were not wearing a mask. One of the employees kept calling clients, asking them to come in early or why they were late. That wasn't a very relaxing environment. read more

They have a pretty cool vibe. The front desk girl is the one who has the good energy. She knows everyone by their names as they walk in. She has convos with everyone too. The place is a little out dated. Kind of dusty and needs a new paint job but the staff is pretty good. They made me sign a waiver to get my ingrown removed. I've never seen that before but good for them. I've gotten a full set by one of the guys before and they are to date with the trend. Overall good spot to get your nails done. I have been coming to this salon for over 30 years and they are ALL sweet & friendly. Ashley and Mai have always done my nails excellent!!! I always receive compliments on my nails. Sometimes the circumstances may not permit a timely turnover for the next customer but that is not a normal occurrence for any business, but the intention is good. My go-to for acrylics is Tony, he always gives me the shape I want and leaves nails looking as natural as possible. For pedicures all the girls are good. I live in southridge and Annie nails is like 3 minutes from my house, I started going and recommended my sister as well. We both got fungus in our feet. Even if you have appointment they make you wait because they don't plan ahead appropriately. The skinny receptionist is only nice to the people she knows otherwise they don't even acknowledge you. I went in asking for dip mani and I was told it was achievable, then the tech did a clear coat of dip after we discussed colors. She then said that she would paint over the dip with gel. That's not what we discussed she then told me it costs to much money for them to use color dip powder, I'm more than willing to pay for the difference but don't offer a service and only do it half-a$$ read more

I stay here and love this place because they really care about customer service. They want you to leave happy and satisfied with your service. I had no appointment, walked in on Saturday afternoon... wait time less than 20min. Miss Paulina did a super job though I could tell she was tired. I've tried a few locations nearby in an attempt to find something closer to home, convenient and reasonably priced. I spoke to women on either side of me while having my pedicure, one said she's been coming here at least 10yrs. I've been coming to Annie nails since I was a little girl. I got my first eyebrow wax from pam and my first full set from the original owner. Ashley has been the owner now for many years and she's amazing. She does my nails now. Rose is my go to for pedicures. She's the sweetest. Find you're nail tech here that you love and stick with them. Yes it's better if you have an appointment. You have to expect to wait if you don't, but that's to be expected for a place where everyone in the area loves to get their nails done. The receptionist here is so unprofessional, every other word out of her mouth is the F word. In normal conversation, f this f that. I asked the naik tech what the receptionist's name was and she said "little Ashley" so I don't know if she's related to the owner. She had my temp checked and had me sanitize my hands, but I saw many people come in after me who just sat down and started chit chatting with her who weren't checked or required to sanitize. I also did NOT see any of the nail techs sanitizing their station after customers. There is no water to drink for the customer, and the tiny space is being cooled by a fan that "little Ashley" has pointed to her. And to make matters worse, my nail tech while doing my nails would leave me and run up to every person who would walk in and say "you do eyebrow?" She was the one wearing a blue apron. read more

Bottom line: All the girls do a good job here for what they charge. Most of the bad reviews here I feel are from petty girls that want to be treated like royalty upon arrival. ( Go to Beverly Hills and pay Beverly Hills prices for that) Keep in mind these girls are all working commission so they're going to take any work they can. (They probably haven't even had time to eat!) They are busy! So don't be mad if you have to wait 20 or even 30 minutes while they finish up what they are doing. Don't get your nails done if you're in a such a rush. They don't charge extra for appointments so you shouldn't feel so entitled because you have an appointment. I got a pedicure and the girl took her time, shaped my toe nails nicely and gave me a bomb massage. Period read more
