Great breakfast and service. They have outdoor seating which is nice! Everything came out fresh and hot. We will be back the next time we are in the area!!

If we could give 10 stars, this breakfast place would get it! Annie would have her 10 stars for her fun service! We loved the talk, we liked the local crowd, and food was very good. Shredded potatoes with onions make the "perrrfect side". Only this place could make it so well. We always back here while on NH vacation. Highly recommended!

It has been a while since we were last here and were seated in the back; cute and same feeling as front. Music playing was vintage 60's so perfect for early morning. Service was friendly and most importantly, coffee was fresh and topped off. The kitchen cooks everything to order and is presented nicely. My Greek omelette was loaded with feta and the biscuit was nicely grilled. Great way to start my day

There are street meter parking spots nearby and there is 3-4 30 min free street parking spots in front of the diner. We stopped in and the hostess and waitress were very kind and friendly. We had on the luncheon menu the fish & chips, and spicy tuna melt with fries. Price is very reasonable and they were fairly fast. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. I would have prefer the fries and fried fish to be light golden color, rather darker brown color. It was still good. We sat in the booth in the dining car, where they have counter with bar stools. Very quaint with warm atmosphere. The booths for me was a tad tight, to get in and seated, but was ok once seated.

We entered via the trolley car entrance and were greeted with a casual "be right with you" from both the waitress and the owner. A few moments later, the waitress gestured toward a table in the back, but my father asked and motioned toward a nearby clean and empty booth instead. The waitress responded that it wasn't set, and the owner said she would clean a booth on the other side. From this point on, the owners demeanor noticeably shifted to one of irritation. As we waited, the owner made a pointed remark to the waitress in our clear earshot: "Don't let anyone treat you that way." This was both unprofessional and shocking, especially since we had not treated anyone any type of way. Once seated, we simply ordered a coffee and a water--using "please" and "thank you"--but the tension did not let up. While retrieving our drinks, the owner continued talking about us to the waitress, who was visibly looking in our direction. My father, who is hard of hearing, was fortunately unaware of the escalating commentary. However, I could not ignore it. When the owner returned with our drinks, I calmly asked if there was a problem with us requesting a booth. Instead of clarifying professionally, she leaned into my father's face and accused him of being rude, listing off excuses about seating processes, staffing, and previous customers. At this point, we decided to leave, saying only, "Alright, let's go." In response, the owner loudly told us to "leave" and "get out" in front of the entire dining room. This experience was embarrassing, unprovoked, and unacceptable. I've supported both of these establishments for years, but I will not be returning. To fellow diners: BEWARE. No one deserves to be treated this way--especially not over a simple seating request.

When we arrived, there was a large bus with tourists that had just arrived so we opted to eat in the bar area versus eating outdoors. Our waitress (Trisha) was one of two bar tenders covering a bar that sat about 12 patrons plus about 6 other tables, She took our orders and then was tied up trying to assist others. We only saw her again when she asked if we desired dessert. My Pasta Fattoria had chicken, spinach, bacon , sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and was very enjoyable. My wife had the steak tips. I could not finish mine so I have lunch for another day. Overall, a nice meal and given the circumstances, Covered Bridge covered most needs.
