Came here on a Saturday around 4pm. My very first time here with the family. The atmosphere is soo chill and quiet. I would say its a bit small inside soo i wouldnt know how it would be when it gets crowded. I ordered the California Burger and it's a pretty big size Burger. The patty was soo well cooked and juicy. Loved this place. Worked at the summer camp at Cameron and everyone always raved about it and now I know why. Huge menu selection, so honestly if you can't find something here. . Somethings wrong with you. Customer service was awesome and the inside was very clean. I went with the bacon cheese burger on a lettuce bun (wheat white lettuce options) and Cajun fries. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The bacon was crispy and the lettuce was perfect. The fries were good. I can't wait to come back and try something new. I remember coming here a few years ago & wasn't impressed. Came back recently this year & the quality of their food has drastically improved. They have many selections of burgers & fries. Maybe the soda lines haven't been changed? The tables are massive and not very good for just two people sitting down. I thought it was strange when I called at 8:38 to place my phone order that the lady said my food which was a well done blue cheese burger, a veggie burger and a large fry would be ready in just 7 minutes. We got there in 14. Get home, both burgers where carelessly thrown together, with ONION PEELS STILL IN TACT, both buns were complete mush, my veggie burger was MAYBE thrown from the freezer to the microwave for a minute to heat up. And it may have kissed the grill just for 3 seconds just for color. It was more than mush, almost like it was soaked in water before they served it. My bf's burger...a soggy mush. We both grabbed our own hamburger buns from the pantry at home and dressed them up real good, in order to have the hamburgers that we had our hearts set on for dinner. Cuz it wasn't happening with that slop we paid for at Annies! I'm gonna be telling EVERYONE I know to stop going there and why they shouldn't go there. Good fries and tons of options for burgers. We got the Vegan Burger and the Tilapia Fish Burger with a side of fries. Easy enough, you walk in, there's a giant board on the wall with tons of options. They bring the food to you, tons of outdoor seating. I'll be honest the after taste was of the grease. Not a good sign. 2 stars are for the concept and great customer service. I ordered a "burger salad" for pick up as found a USED SINK DRAIN in my salad keep in mind it was buried in the bottom so I didn't notice it until several bites. That being said, once I saw it and saw the bottom of the sink drain was filled with old food I immediately threw up. I don't know how they make their sands or their food but I just don't understand how that can happen. Annie doesn't really come close. It takes a page out of hodads page and trades quality for size. The veggies are stacked tall but that meat is not good. Definitely a previously frozen patty. No texture, low flavor, burnt to a crisp. Fries also tasted preciously frozen. Large in size, short in quality. Not too expensive though. $24 for 2 burgers and fries. read more

First time here. Plenty of parking with a lot of different food options in the area. Ordering with the front end staff was easy and they were helpful with any questions we had. It's a smaller interior with a more dark aesthetic, but it was cozy. There have a variety of food options such as burgers, hotdogs, wings. The wings and burger we ordered both tasted very fresh. Perhaps the most fresh of any similar place I've been too. I ordered the Abby's spicy wings as the extra spicy version. Though if you're used to spicy food it's pretty mild. Garlic fries will definitely fatten you up but they tasted soooo good. Double burger was simple but the freshness made it really good. First thing to mention, this place was easy to find and there are tons of parking. Service was meh. It was our first time here and we felt rushed with the cashier that was there 08/16/2023 in the afternoon. The lady kept mentioning the total after every single item and didn't really let us complete saying what we want to order. On top of that, it was like as if she was annoyed/irritated when she handed over our receipt without saying anything else; not even a single "thank you" or "your order will be right out." It is as if her customer service skills are lacking. Overall, the food was excellent and it is worth coming back here again. I'm lazy- didn't want to drive far and Annys was only couple miles away. It's very hidden in the giant Target area- I would have never known this existed but glad I did. We ordered their California burger and garlic fries. And holy moly, the burger was huge- was not expecting that at all! It was super good! Beautiful brioche bun with really good ingredients. I don't remember when they got here but I was one of the first customers to come to the one in Santee and that's always been the one I go to. Very good burger. High quality. Their menu has been getting bigger and bigger but they haven't changed the quality. It's rare because usually companies go cheaper and cheaper as they get bigger and bigger but this company hasn't. We live in a face- paced world where we even have drive- thru for banks and dry cleaners. Needless to say, I find apps that are designed to expedite ones life, such as Postmate and Instacart, very handy. I'm perpetually in a hurry and I find myself relying on these apps as they allow me to keep track of the order process in real time. I placed the order on Postmate at 3:41pm and it showed the estimated time of delivery at 3:51pm, which is very acceptable. I checked to make sure that the app showed that Anny's confirmed the order before I even left the house. I arrived at 4pm - just to give them a few extra minutes - and walked up to the counter. There were two young workers at the register: a guy who seemed to be in his late teens and a girl with red and black hair. They were talking animatedly and it was a few moments before they even acknowledged me (actually, the guy had to motion towards me with his eyes before the girl even looked my direction). I advised her that I was there to pickup an order, but she seems completely baffled. I tell her helpfully that it's via Postmate. She says, "Ohhh..." and checks a different screen and JUST THEN prints out the order. She then proceeds to lie to me and tell me that it'll just be a few minutes as she sticks the order on the rail. I try my best to hide my frustration as time slowly passes. There is absolutely no sense of urgency with any of the staff. They take their time, they joke, they laugh, and I seethe. It's 4:13pm by the time I receive my order; a full 22 minutes later than I was promised. What really upset me enough to write a review is that there was never an apology or even an update until I asked. Thanks to the staff's laziness and not checking for incoming orders as well as the kitchen staff's inability to expedite an already- late order, I arrived at work full six minutes late, which has never happened before. As for the food, it's good. Anny's always had good burgers and I like their Buffalo Chicken burger (which reminds me of Zaxby's) and the perfectly seasoned waffle fries. However, good service at a restaurant is so very important to many people. I mean, how else can you explain Applebee's and Hooter's staying in business with their subpar cuisine?
