Mini-me 2.0 approved. Grabbed snacks to share at the mall food court and it wasn't too busy. Usual mall traffic and chill atmosphere as expected. Food ready in a few minutes. Kiddo selected mozzarella & potatoes on a stick w/ fries combo. I'm not too keen about her putting so much ketchup, but she likes her snacks how she likes her snacks. We usually see eomma minding the store when we stop by. She is kind and lets us know how much time before the order is ready, which gives us a few minutes to grab a tea beverage from the Monk next door. They seem to be doing well enough so far. I've noticed at least five different unfortunate snack spots go belly up for whatever reasons since the pandemic.

I had a pretty good corn dog from this Korean Fry House at the Parkway Plaza Food Court. I ordered the Premium Beef Corn Dog or the #2 for $5.29 plus tax. The corn dog was good. The beef dog inside was tasty and the batter on the outside was crispy, although the inside of the batter could have used a little more time in the fryer. You can add a variety of toppings and sauces to the corn dog. I went with just mustard and garlic powder. It was a good flavor combination. The older gent running the counter was friendly.

We are getting original sausage number #1 3.79. It takes about 10 minutes to make. They have regular sausage 100% beef, sausage, jalapeño sausage and mozzarella in the middle. Service is good. The ambience is in the mall we're getting to go.

Wow is my only word. I'm out w my nephew and of course he wanted a corn dog. Katzya are next level corn dogs. It's the Katsu breading that makes the difference. I tried the chicken which was crispy and delish. be careful, the katsu keeps the heat in and they come served piping hot.

Interesting food choices. I'm going to try this new place . It looks good. Service is fast and easy. Ambience is mall food . Lots of seating.

I came to this place twice in one week. The boneless fried chicken is amazing!! And the owner is one of the coolest guys I've met. I have yet to try a corn dog yet but I can vouch for the dumplings and boneless fried chicken!!

12/16/23, tried this place again. Quick and fast. Very good. I would suggest going there. Eating at multiple places in the food court. It is very busy there at the mall.

This is a vendor at the H Mart food court in Kearny Mesa which specializes in fried cutlet dishes and Korean fried chicken. I opted for the latter as I wanted to compare their product to other places in town. You can ask for drumsticks, wings, or tenders. The flavor choices were original, soy garlic, seasoned, spicy, and spicy seasoned. I asked for mine to be soy garlic wings. Despite the line ahead of me, the food didn't take long to be ready for pick-up at the service counter. A dish of pickled radishes marinated in soy sauce came as a side with the chicken. The crust was crunchy and not too thick. The size of the wings was a disappointment for the price though. Eight pieces were in a regular order while a large order had twelve pieces and cost about 50% more. Overall, I gave Katzya a 3.5 star rating for their Korean fried chicken.

We ordered the Crispy Chicken Combo during our visit to HMart! This is the most delicious fried chicken we have tried that has the least grease. The breading on the exterior has a perfect crunch while also maintaining the savory moisture of the chicken. When paired with white rice, French fries, and veggies this combination is perfect! Highly recommend!

Almost forgot to take a photo, ate this so quick.

Wow wo we wo. This is hands down the absolute best fried chicken you will ever have. I get the boneless fried chicken. You will never have such a crispy, juicy, consistent taste than this place. Come and get it y'all.

We came here on a Saturday night to order chicken wings. We got the original and soy garlic. Both are delicious, came out piping hot, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The soy garlic comes with a generous amount of sauce which is great but the chicken skin can be a bit soggy after a while. My gripe with this place after coming for a while is the customer service. We came throughout the year and the service has been consistently disappointing. Good food but dont expect much out of service. Right in front of the counter, theres a sign that claims "No Utensils" its meant for non customers but wow, okay, and i dont get while they wont sell a bowl of rice! When they sell rice with their katsu. I just dont get it. Lol we still come back for chicken but we mentally prepare ourselves for the rude staff.

Avoid the sugar. The mozzarella stuffed with potato is good. Not filled up with cheese as expected. Overall it's not up to all the hype.

The banchan was really good, and the meat quality was seriously impressive. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. The service was also incredible, especially considering how busy they were. We waited about 45 minutes during peak dinner time, which honestly wasn't bad at all given how packed the restaurant was. And you HAVE to get the cheese fried rice at the end. They use a special type of cookware that makes it look like this giant lid, and the fried rice gets perfectly crispy and cheesy. Such a fun way to finish the meal. I'd highly recommend getting the Prime package and sharing it between four people. Great amount of food, especially if you're getting all the sides and fried rice. Definitely a must-try if you're in San Diego!

BTW this is NOT AYCE. It is also on the pricey end. Also they cooked all the food for us. Not sure if we will be back but maybe on a special occasion or if we are invited by friends to go. Food: We ordered the SOT Sampler Plate and a fried rice. My favorite was the Prime Short Rib. Everything was good but personally I can't tell the difference between the meat I ate here and from another KBBQ place. For the fried rice they kinda burnt our fried rice. It was so burnt that when we tried to scoop up the rice to try and get that charred bottom, it was stuck and moved the grill itself. Service: Staff were good and attentive to when we needed water refills and more sides. They cooked all the food and asked type of doneness we would like our meat. The only time they slipped was for the fried rice. Ambiance: The place is a nice smell of meat cooking. Feels like a pretty professional establishment. Definitely a place where you could bring a much larger party. Parking: This area has a parking lot space and at the time we came there were still plenty of spots.

I feel the same way, the food is expensive, and portions small. I ordered grilled mackerel, but it cost $20 for two fillets and a bowl of rice. Mackerel is just about the cheapest of fishes, sells for $2.29 a lb at Zion Market. The taste of the mackerel wasn't very exciting, I couldn't taste the grill flavor, and I wish they put some marinate on it. The dish I really wanted is Beef Bulgogi (but I like pork better) but it cost $27 and I couldn't bring myself to order it, too expensive. My friend ordered dumplings for about $14, but I did not taste them. My friend only ordered dumplings, which I did not taste. I come to the same conclusion as my previous visit, 6 years before.
