Wanted to try a high end barber to see what's up but ended up so disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the barbers seem chill and boys that I can be friends with, but don't let that manipulate you into trying to see past of the actual service given, which is cutting hair. I have a range of barbers I choose to work with and I won't be adding this to my list. I'll stick to Nhien at Wondercuts, for $25 who can actually do a fade. Family man too. Not whatever this place is trying to be. I asked for a bald fade, and he just couldn't get it right. I know a barber can cut hair when they're not afraid to shave my sideburns and work up, and he didn't. It's a bald fade, not a 1-2. I was polite and just said it was okay, until I went out with my friends and they were like who cut my hair. They showed me how even more messed the back was. Like it was two tones, no gradient. A few of the barbers seem inexperienced, nothing wrong with that, but not deserving to be charging $70 for a haircut which they call "a consultative service" like maybe charge less so you can learn to perfect your craft first? On top of that, I hear the barbers talking about practicing and stuff like that at the shop, really confirming the inexperience. Everyone starts somewhere, and I appreciate the hustle but not at $70 a cut. **They seem like they're buying reviews, after I posted there is a huge influx and the owner messaged me. Really great service and ambiance, super chill the vibes from everyone is cool. The barbers actually use a lot of shear work and not only clippers; not a lot of barbers are confident is using shears but not them :) my haircut came out really good.
