Whatever you do... DO NOT GET YOUR HAIRCUT BY THE LADY!!!! I asked for a high fade with a little on top cut. She literally took 1 1/2 hours until Vincent had to take over. And they don't let you see the mirror while they cut so I had no idea what she was doing. When she tried to finish me off, she put gel in my hair to hide all the mistakes... I have patches sticking out after I washed my hair. NEVER GET YOUR HAIR CUT BY THE LADY! Vincent seemed to know what he was doing and he cut 2 customers while this lady was doing whatever. read more

Stopped in to get a haircut today at Vincent's Barber Shop, my favorite barber shop! Today, apparently Vincent is out on vacation so I had my cut done by Cynthia. Before it was my turn, I watched Cynthia work on a customer's hair for a long time. I was stunned and amazed at how thorough she was with that young man's haircut. I thought, she's perfectionist! He received a haircut that I would only expect to see at a far more expensive barber shop that required appointments weeks in advance. My haircut request was far more simple. I simply wanted my hair cut short to the same length as my short beard. I figured, this had to be a 5 minute haircut, yet she "crafted" this simple haircut! I ended up tipping Cynthia more than the cost of the haircut. Based on my experience today, customers should be standing in line outside the door waiting their turn to have Cynthia cut their hair. read more

Moving is always stressful, and to add insult to injury I had to find a new barber after 7 years of seeing the same person, which is always a crapshoot. Vincent was able to see me right away gave me a great cut in a timely manner. I appreciate that this shop has some of the latest gadgetry (compressed air for cleanup, ear/neck trimmers, etc) that I have been missing at my previous spot, and it was cheaper, too. Place was nice and empty, people were very nice and polite but then I asked for a high fade slight trim on top and even showed a photo, they had me turned away from the mirror so I couldn't see anything the entire time and the whole time I'm thinking this is way to high with a zero and this was a 40 minute dang haircuts and I look at the finished product and it's horrible, the top is long one side short as hell the other for a comb over which is not what I asked for, and also the sides are a 0 all the way up to the top, complete military style, and I have to say I'll never go back. read more

My first haircut here was great if I must say. He (Vincent) didn't rush, he took his time, gave me what I asked for. Now, my second time here, it was completely different. I walked in, & noticed he was cutting another persons hair which was fine with me. Then, when it was my time for a cut, he asked me if I wanted the same, then he started to cut. Couple minutes go by, & two more customers walk in after me, one saying "I called you earlier, do you still have time?" & in which Vincent replied, "Yes." I came to this shop off a recommendation from a friend and was enthused by the price! Everything seemed fine until the barber started to cut me hair and he faced me AWAY from the mirror! Effectively I had no idea what he was doing and was hoping I translated my desired hair cut from the small conversation we had beforehand. I finally couldn't take it and asked him to turn me towards the mirror and the result was nothing like we discussed and when expressing this to him, the barber went on to try and convince me what my "style" was. After this exchange he JUST STOPPED the haircut and didn't even finish! Now my hair is very uneven and I didn't mention that he shaved half my face!
