This was our 1st time here. Our breakfast was really good. Service was good. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We also got a small side of free fresh beignets , which were absolutely amazing. I had expected the cheesy grits to be an overall cheesy grits not grits with cheese on it, but it was still really good. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal too.

The food is excellent. The service is fast and friendly. The lobster and brie egg was very well cooked and delicious. The bacon, and Gouda grit complemented the dish very well. The staff is very nice and so is the ambiance! We will be back for another brunch!

Wow, I absolutely loved this place! From start to finish, the entire experience was wonderful. Our server was a lovely young lady with the biggest, warmest smile, which made us feel so welcome. We arrived at the perfect time because shortly after, it became quite busy--it's clearly a popular spot in a bustling shopping center. The food was delicious! I had the eggs Benedict with fresh fruit on the side, and my friend and I shared a Belgian waffle that was absolutely amazing. As a sweet surprise, we were also treated to some warm, freshly made beignets that were incredibly tasty. I was also happy to see that the bathrooms were very clean, which really added to the overall positive experience. This was a great visit all around, and I can't wait to come back!

I thought I'd give this cafe a try. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with 2 fried eggs, 2 sausage patties and a side of 2 buttermilk pancakes. The bottom half of the biscuit was overcooked and hard on the bottom. The gravy was very bland...didn't have much flavor at all. The fried eggs were overcooked around the edges. The sausage patties were okay, at least they had some flavor. The pancakes were good, probably the best part of the meal. The wait wasn't long to be seated at our booth. The waitress came over right away to bring the menus and to take our drink orders. She brought our drinks and took our orders. This is where the service starts to go down hill. Our food came about 47 minutes after we placed our order. We had to flag our waitress down several times to get our drinks refilled. She never came back to our booth to see if we needed anything. Had to even flag her down to get our check. The cafe seemed to be clean. The area that we were seated in was a little claustrophobic because we were in a hallway type area. It does have an outside patio that has access to a playground for the kiddos. My first time here and it will probably be my last time here.

Note: We did go on Valentine's Day. Holy cow that was a choice it was BUSY, but the staff kept up mostly. The service was a little slow and it was hard to get drink refills, but it was a holiday so idk how it would be on a normal day. The inside is also naturally tight, so not my favorite seating arrangement as someone who prefers room around my chair. However, the food!!!! Gouda grits is actually one of my new favorite things ever. I definitely would go back just for those they were so good. Also, I've had blueberry ricotta pancakes, but the goat cheese was a game changer. It was more creamy than ricotta. Also, decided to treat myself with a little mocktail which was flavorful and had good chunks of blackberries in it. Yum!

Cute spot inside southpark meadows the place looks small from the outside but they've done a great job utilizing the space. The outdoor space had a playground for kids and an expansive patio. We sat inside and although the space is smaller it didn't feel cramped for a table of 5. The service was good and the waitress was friendly. Our food came out hot and ready. I got the lemon blueberry pancakes with goat cheese. They were solid pancakes but I wanted more lemon and blueberry in the pancake. The whipped cream was solid pancakes delicious. My father in law got the cinnamon roll French toast and raved about it. I was able to try my husbands hashbrown Benedict which was really good--almost like a hashbrown croquet. The place was solid and reasonable for brunch. I would definitely try again.

Had a great first experience at Another Broken Egg with a yummy Bloody Maria and Hashbrown Benedict's. We had a cozy table in the bar area, even though the place was packed, we were seated quickly and it wasn't too loud to have a lovely brunch conversation. The whole menu looked delicious so I'll have to come back and try them all.

Food was good, ambiance was nice and clean, pleasant to have some breakfast, service was very good and friendly, big playground is big plus, kids menu was just perfect size and kids loved it. Definitely would like to go back. Veggie omelette needs some spices or sauce, it was a bit bland.

I brought a friend here for a birthday brunch. We drove past mini breakfast places in between New Braunfels and San Marcos and ended up here. We were seated quickly and our waiter was good. I don't remember his name, but he was of Hispanic descent and had a ponytail in his hair. We were seated in a corner that was pretty crowded. There was a patron at the table right next to us who had one of her legs propped up to keep it elevated and rested while she ate. Her walker was right behind her so my friend and I were kind of crammed in a tiny two seater table in the corner. We placed our orders and the food came up fairly quickly. I ordered the strawberry poundcake French toast as well as an omelette with a side of hashbrowns. My friend ordered blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon. The omelette wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was good and the strawberry pound cake. French toast was delicious. I was shocked at it really actually being poundcake they made into French toast. I assumed it was just a flavor. Will I try it again? If I am in the area, but I will not be making that drive through two towns to get here to dine but I'm glad I got to try this place.

    Chicken Salad Sandwich
    Steph W.

Decided to switch things up and try lunch instead of breakfast. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, which came with a side of potatoes. The potatoes were actually really good--but it would've hit just a bit better with some chips on the side. The sandwich itself came on toast, though the bread was barely toasted--more like lightly warmed than crisp. The chicken salad had a great flavor--seasoned just right without being overpowering. The chicken was chopped in nice, hearty pieces and not overly processed or too finely diced. It was good.

Every time I think I'm a brunch girlie, I prove myself wrong. While Another Broken Egg Cafe is quite impressive compared to other restaurants in the Southpark Meadows Shopping Center, it just didn't leave an impression on me. I had the crowd favorite, the Lobster & Brie Omelette. The Lobster & Brie Omelette is stuffed with cream cheese and topped with brie, along with champagne butter sauce and chopped lobster meat with a sliced English muffin on the side. The dairy in this omelette is overpowering and easily overshadows any trace of lobster. I'd pass on this dish, including the side of breakfast potatoes, which were stale.

It is like Snooze with a Southern accent. Great portions. Weekend was super busy. Make sure you join the waitlist otherwise you will end up waiting 2 hours. I personally had a great experience. Holly was amazing food is really 4 stars, but she makes this place 5 star establishment. Food was good and it came fast. Typical egg dishes. One interesting fact a-lot of items had pork and not much avocado, so if you don't eat pork you may have limited options, but there is always smoked salmon. Prices are on the high end like cold brew is above $5. Entrees are $18 to $22. I think the best deal is side pancake. It was good. Another option for a good breakfast spot.

The lobster & brie omlette was delicious, and the english muffin was great to eat with the grits and the omelette, it was all very filling. Service was good, our server made great conversation and was very friendly and considerate. Staff also paid attention to customers leaving and said to have a good day, it was very kind. Ambiance is clean and moderately noisy, just because there isn't too much space in the establishment and a playground outside. Might be an issue during peak hours, but if you dont mind background noise it shouldn't be an issue.

But I enjoy new experiences and menus with eclectic dishes. The menu had few choices for breakfast and I was unsure why it was suggested as a breakfast place. It's actually a good place to eat any time of day! The beautifully decorated patio provided the perfect welcome into their modestly decorated air conditioned restaurant and bar. When I say bar, it's more like a 1950s bar that you can sit at and have a meal at. Although drinks and meals were offered any time of day! The waitress was pleasant and helpful in suggesting add ons with my meal. But being a purist, I wanted to try it as intended. The food arrived in the normal amount of time. When I first saw my mozzarella omelette I was a little surprised! It didn't look anything like what it was described as! Oh well! I thought. Let's give it a try! My taste buds were happily amazed! Could this omelette smothered in mushroom gravy, green "pesto" and bread crumbs be the best omelette I've ever had?! The mushroom tomato gravy was so smooth! Along with the cilantro avocado topping. That tasted more like pesto, gave it the perfect zing! I had wished I the had ordered some toast to dip in the sauce. I could have done without the bread crumbs. But they were easily swept to the side. The amount of mozzarella cheese in this omelette led me to believe it was more of an omelette lasagna than a plain old omelette. This place is definitely a must if you are visiting Austin!

Loro is an Asian smokehouse and bar featuring grilled and smoked meats with Southeast Asian and Japanese-inspired sauces, sides, and a bar that boasts craft beer, boozy slushees, and batch cocktails. Parking at this location is a bit of a challenge. They have overflow parking in the back but the spots are really small. We sat at the bar area and worked our way through cocktails, apps, and dessert. We opened a tab and the bar staff takes your order which is convenient, versus how you normally have to order by waiting in line at the bar. The bar staff was extremely busy because they have to make all the cocktails and take the line orders at the bar. They are a master of multitasking. It was $3 martini night on Tuesday, so was excited to sample the four different drink options. lychee martini, Mexican martini, and Lucky Cat cosmo martini. Lychee martini is made with new amsterdam vodka, sake, elderflower, Mexican martini with espolon blanco, olive, yuzu, lime and cosmo with vodka, blood orange, naranja, lime. The lychee was hands down my favorite of the three. We started with the Dip Sampler that included a trifecta of smoked shishito queso, smoked salmon dip and Thai green salsa with the Siete blue corn tortilla chips. We went through the chips quickly and got a second round of wonton chips which I preferred to the Siete chips. Tried the Mango Chamoy frozen Slushee with Siete Chamoy Botana Sauce & Siete Chile Lime Seasoning Rim, passionfruit, Aperol, Sake and Sparkling Wine which was refreshing. All their boozy slushies are $5 during happy hour. Ordered the oak grilled edamame from the happy hour menu and it was a flavor explosion with a dusting of serracha powder, lemon zest and white sesame. For dinner, I ordered my go-to rice bowl with coconut-scented rice, seasonal pickles, thai herbs and steak as the protein. They normally served this with Bavette, but the steak was a bit tough and chewy this time. Finished everything off with cheesecake with five spice crumble, yuzu marmalade for dessert. The vibe at the bar was relaxed and lively without feeling overwhelming, and the collab menu felt creative without trying too hard. The ingredients are very thoughtful for a fully developed flavor profile. Just what I would expect from the culinary minds of Tyson Cole and Aaron Franklin. Definitely one of the regulars in my list when craving good cocktails with a casual but elevated food menu.
