My girlfriend Shonna and I remember the day we went to another broken egg and learned how to do a proper lunge and ate breakfast..... it was a great day. Our friend/server Julie was awesome, she had a great sense of humor and her service was 12.6/10. Do not go here!!! Their waitlist doesn't exist. They tell you one time and then if anyone books online they get ahead of you! Worst system ever! 4 other people were also waiting and complaining. We waited over an hour and they couldn't tell us when we could be seared telling us 40 min wait. read more

Father's Day brunch at the Broken Egg today and it did not disappoint! It was very busy with about a 45 minute wait but we got on the wait list thru Yelp and we only waited a few minutes. Wonderful!!! We stopped here for breakfast with some time to kill before our flight out and really enjoyed everything. The service was great, the coffee drinks and Bloody Mary were delicious, and everything we had for breakfast was really good!! I have been eating breakfast at ABE cafes for years in Destin and Birmingham. Always great breakfast and good service but all the Destin restaurants are overwhelmed this summer. Ambiance has always been great but 1.5 hour wait for breakfast just because they don't have enough cooks is just sad. I can not blame management or the folks who show up to work. What is needed in Destin is for the country to step away from its anti-immigration policies. Who do you think cooks in these restaurants or picks the food in Florida? It's not high school students! I expect every resturant in Florida to be short staffed all year long. Anti-immigration means long waits, poor service, poor hospitality and is overall poor business. It's the dumb politicians who have the business sense of a moron, who contribute to the mess being made in many Florida panhandle resturant's suffering with 1-2 hour waits. Just so sad to see this industry suffer. Never seen it this bad. read more

I give this restaurant 5++++++stars! Our waitress, Katie was the best! She was attentive, friendly, and recommended a number of her favorite menu items! I choose the Hash brown Benedict with grits and my husband chose the Bourbon Street Pancakes with 2 eggs over easy and sausage patties. Both were absolutely delicious and exactly as Katie described them! The food was hot, perfectly prepared and oh so flavorful! Our coffee cup was never empty!! The manager, Mark stopped by our table and was friendly and personable. We engaged in a nice conversation about what brought us to the restaurant and where we were from. So in summary......the food was great and the service was outstanding!! We will definitely be frequenting this restaurant while in Destin. I would like to add to my review below. We ordered the Floridian Omelette, Salmon Benedict & 1 lemon blueberry pancake and everything was cooked perfectly and delicious and we will go back. We've been before for the non-seafood omelette and Benedicts and it's all been good. Love the food at Another Broken Egg but was very disappointed at the service at Legendary Drive in Destin. Our server spent the whole time we were there talking to some other guests. I wanted to ask what they had we didn't! We finally had to ask for another cup of coffee after about 30 minutes then were told they had to make some more so basically wasted 30 minutes or more of beach time. read more
