Food was amazing we got the land and sea steamer and you get 1 good sized steak and 3 snow crab legs and 1 snow crab claw with those crab cracker things and a thork (three pointed fork :D) and gloves to keep your hands clean because crab is REALLY messy and scissors to cut the crab legs. the steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the crab legs were amazingly boiled and the butter was nothing like I've ever tasted before, the servers were really nice and the restaurant itself looked really cool with led lights everywhere a really cool looking bar and live music on the outside it looks like a broken down restaurant and you can't even see the inside from the outside, one problem though there was a roach on the ground but someone quickly took it out the restaurant so it's all good. Overall I had a great time at firecraft I would recommend going here instead of the shack simply because there's more people at the shack and it would've took us an hour if we wanted to go to the shack so yeah. Food was horrible, cold but overcooked. Service was rude and inattentive. We were told they offered military discount then it changed when we went to present ID. Our server was distracted chatting with coworkers and couldn't be bothered to check on us unless we got up from our table and got him. Tables are empty but left dirty and floors are full of grime. While visiting town, we decided to try Firecraft Seafood after seeing several positive reviews. The restaurant itself makes a nice first impression -- it's clean, spacious, and has a lively atmosphere. The bar area features plenty of TVs, there's ample seating, and what appears to be a dance floor gives the space a fun, party-style vibe. A sign outside mentioned live music at 6 p.m., though there wasn't any during our weekend visit, so that may only apply on certain days. Upon entering, we seated ourselves as instructed and were quickly greeted by our server, Summer, who was polite and attentive throughout the evening. After reviewing the menu, we felt the prices were a bit high for the portion sizes, but we decided to start with the charbroiled oysters and a cup of gumbo. While ordering, there seemed to be some communication difficulty -- possibly due to the loud music -- so we later asked another waitress for clarification about whether a fried seafood dish could be prepared grilled instead. She told us she would check with the chef and let us know. Our appetizers arrived quickly. Unfortunately, the oysters were just okay. They were unusually large compared to others we've had, and several were overcooked with burnt spots that significantly affected the flavor. The gumbo looked hearty and meaty, but it lacked depth and seasoning. After a few bites, we couldn't continue eating it. When we followed up about modifying the fried entrée, we were told it could not be accommodated. We also mentioned that another waitress had offered to check with the chef but never returned with an answer. The interaction felt confusing and dismissive, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. We want to clarify that our earlier comments were not meant to be humorous or disrespectful toward our server -- there simply seemed to be difficulty hearing one another, likely due to the noise level. Despite the underwhelming start, we chose to give the restaurant another chance and ordered the shrimp boil with Conecuh sausage, corn, and potatoes, along with Cajun butter. The food arrived quickly and was served hot, which we appreciated. However, once again, the dish lacked seasoning. Even the Cajun butter didn't add much flavor. The shrimp tasted as though they had been simply warmed rather than properly seasoned. We ultimately had to request cocktail sauce just to give the dish some taste. To further add to our disappointment, when we asked to speak with a manager about both the food and the earlier service confusion, we were told a manager would not be provided and that the other waitress's name (Bailey) could not be shared because they did not want a "bad review." That response was surprising. Customer concerns should be addressed directly rather than avoided out of fear of feedback. While Summer remained kind and checked on us consistently, the overall experience -- from the lack of flavor to the way concerns were handled -- left us disappointed. Visiting Destin and happened to be in FWB on a Wednesday night. Was hungry and looking for food around 10:30pm. Used Yelp to see what was open and close by and stumbled upon this spot. It was empty but the owner, Aaron, took our orders. We both ordered the shrimp skewers, one with broccoli and fries, the other with broccoli and corn on the cob. The food came out fairly quickly and was DELICIOUS. So flavorful. And the presentation was on point too! This restaurant has only been open for a month and I highly recommend it for the food. Seafood is amazing! Oysters were fresh, sweet, and perfectly salty. Snow Crab Legs were cooked perfectly and the shrimp were huge and tender. Not over cooked! We were so happy we ate here three times during our 10 day vacation. Service was perfect. And the Ambiance kept us talking about what the building had been previously. Very unique spot. The place has lots of lights and a cool atmosphere. They have a nice bar station if you are looking to drink, talk, and relax. The waiter was nice and accommodating. The food did take a long time to be delivered which was a tad disappointing since the food was very good (the waiter did let us know it was going to a bit of a wait when the food wasn't showing up). The oyster were very good, we got the grilled ones. I recommend trying them. The steak was cooked nicely (medium-rare) a bit salty for my taste but others said it was good. Firecraft Seafood in Fort Walton Beach is an absolute gem! My wife and I stopped in for dinner and decided to share the seafood steamer for one - it was incredible. Perfectly seasoned, bursting with fresh shrimp, clams, mussels, crab legs, corn, and potatoes, every bite was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The portion was so generous that even after we both ate our fill, we still walked out with a hefty box of leftovers. That alone is worth the visit! The service was truly next-level. Well the first indication was that the parking lot was empty at 7:30pm on a Friday night. The food was subpar at best. Went to order fried calamari and was told it only came with cocktail sauce or ketchup. I have only ever had calamari with marinara sauce. So we opted not to order it. We ordered the blackened grouper and mahi. The grouper was ok but nothing to write home about. The mahi was super dry and rubbery so we sent it back. When the new filet came out on the original plate, with the spent lemons, and not blackened it was much the same. The server never came back to check to see if the second filet was ok. How do you have crab legs and no real butter? Crawfish queso fries were awful. Grainy cheese, fishy dried up crawfish over otherwise hot delicious fries. Everything had a sprinkling of seasoning on it, which was over-salty. Garlic "butter" was just greasy. Crab legs, shrimp, and crab claws were delicious, just a shame to dip them in grease. This is a new restaurant so wasn't very busy. I hope it catches on as I want to be able to go back. Our server Summer(ask for her, such a sweet soul). She was attentive and helpful without being obtrusive. We had the filet and grouper dinners, both amazing! They were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Great mixed vegetables and steamed rice. The garlic smashed potatoes were not our favorite. prices on these meals were fair as were the other steaks and burgers. We read the reviews before choosing this restaurant, they were from one end of the the spectrum to the other. I must say I'm definitely glad we chose to eat our evening meal at FireCraft . Our party of four adults shy away from fried foods at this point in our lives , so grilled and steamed was the quarry. We ordered a steamed platter , grilled grouper and grilled oysters . The price was spot on with the portions served, I think people that make reviews need to visit a seafood market and price Grouper per pound before they complain about the price ! The meal was smoking hot , the fish was excellent . The grilled Oysters were hands down the best I've ever had, grilled and seasoned perfectly. The previous night , I had grilled oysters at a reputable restaurant in Navarre good , but could not compare with this plate . If I have one complaint , the French garlic bread would be better if it was one large piece, instead of a few tiny dry crusty pieces . I thought the garlic mashed potatoes were perfect . The venue was not crowded , the music volume was low . Our waiter was very attentive and the food was brought out in a timely manner.
