A morning breakfast out with my family before my flight home this morning ended with my daughter in law in tears, and a waitress who snatched the receipt and credit card out of my daughter in laws hands. Our order was started at 11:16am and we didn't get our food until 12:15pm. The unfortunate part was that our server did not talk to us, she did not smile, she just promised our order was coming. Table by table we saw families get seated and served and our waitress never checked on our food. If the banana waffles are made to order, maybe give us a heads up that it may take longer then usual. (Two orders) After 45 minutes, Our food was set down and she walked away. Our coffee was refilled one time in over 45 minutes, and when my daughter in law went to the front to pay because our server did not come around, she showed up and followed my daughter in law to the front and grabbed the receipt and debit card out of her hand. There was no offering to adjust total for the inconvenience, or anything. No eye contact either. It's hard to want to come back when this is how you are treated. I'm flying back home today, but my kids live here, they now call this home. Not the hospitality we were expecting. Not to mention, my son serves this community, and needed to get home to rest and sleep before his night shift. Our morning adventure out together was all we had left before I leave today. And sad to say it was spent at this restaurant where we were treated disrespectfully. I asked for the Managers name, and she simply replied, "Stacy" and walked away. We're new to Alabama from Colorado, looking for fun new places to dine. It was our 4 year anniversary and we loved EVERYTHING. The food, the drinks and the views! My husband and I both got the lemon blueberry mimosa and the biscuits and gravy AND the carrot cake pancakes (what? We were starving ha) Our server Brooklyn was so wonderful! I can be and was very picky and exhausting when ordering but she eventually steered us to exactly what we wanted to eat and drink. We will definitely be back. Thank you!! read more

Been a few time to test out the waters . Each time the food has been above expectations. The restaurant is new the staff is new but the experience was spot on . The only negative thing really is when you get your waffle or French toast pass on the eggs and bacon . It will be cold when you finish eating those massive tasty portions. read more

I'll start with the location, it's really lovely. Being on the water is always nice! We visited during their training and charity event prior to opening to the public. Our waitress, Jessica W, was fantastic! She was super attentive, friendly, and happy to make recommendations! When our food came out, I took a bite and noticed the "French toast" was a lemon flavored cake. Made for a very odd combination. I had this item at other locations and never tasted lemon. I mentioned it to Jessica and she passed the note to the manager. He came over and checked in and I let him know. He first told me "there's no lemon in this", which was kind of my point. There shouldn't be. He left to go check with the kitchen and came back to say that it is actual a pre made lemon cake and made to be served like this with this item. The menu also stated "rum spiced cake" style French toast which I did point out. We kind of went back and forth on it before I admitted defeat. No issue with it being wrong but it was annoying that he insisted I was the one who was wrong. I was trying to be helpful since they were just getting footing and so it wasn't continuously served wrong. He offered to get me something different but I declined. We had somewhere to be soon and I didn't want to send food back to the kitchen. The sides were great and my husbands was good too! When we got there there was a 30 min wait for outside which we were fine with. Ended up being only 10 minutes which was great. We went for breakfast twice while glamping. The place was clean, the food hot and tasty, and both times the server was great. You were offered indoor or outdoor seating. Amazing location! My mardi grass omelette was great but the waiter was a bit slow. We had to ask him for utensils, napkins, coffee creamer, sugar and refills. Great on-the-water location. However, they suffer from a lack of help. You can't get served at the outdoors tables right by the water because they don't have enough waiters. The coffee is great, but you can expect a long wait for your food, and it may arrive cold--my eggs over easy did. They have a lot of great dishes that you would not expect in a breakfast place, but are priced accordingly--around $40 for breakfast for two. The labor shortage is not necessarily management's fault, but it does affect the product here. read more

The service was good with a friendly waitress. She forgot multiple things but made up for it with her response. I had the veggie omelet and the eggs were still runny. I have eaten here before and at other locations but this visit was disappointing. I ordered the banana bread french toast which was described it as "flambeyed in orange liqour". First of all the banana bread was dry and cut too thick to be effective as french toast. It didn't appear that any orange liqour was used which would imply flame of some kind. If I could give it 0 stars , I absolutely would. Despite the other negative ratings , a friend and I decided to give them the benefit of a doubt. I spent $70 on my togo. I live 11 minutes from the place and headed there as soon as I placed my order. My food was cold, my biscuit was poorly thrown together, and the servers were rude. This was gas station food at most. I work in food industry and I understand "things happen" but this was totally ridiculous. The menu is absolutely beautiful but they're definitely a catfish. This was very upsetting and displeasing. We were out on the boat and decided to stop by City Harbor for lunch. Our usual place was closed on Tuesday so we thought we would give Another Broken Egg a shot. It was a very unpleasant visit! We waited 50 minutes for our food and the food was served COLD! Cold eggs are not appetizing at all! My husband informed our waitress that our meal was cold and asked if his plate could be microwaved. Really??? This should never happen. There were many employees around but their focus was cleaning up for the day rather than assisting customers receive palatable food. We will not return to this restaurant nor any other under the name. If you plan to go there, plan to be there a long time to receive your cold eggs! read more

Cold food, rude, distracted waitresses. I have been here twice now and I really don't ever want to go back. Hash browns tasted like cold hard cardboard and my omelet was cold and tasteless. Both of the times that I have visited, our waitress has been having a bad day. One even casually told our whole party how much the sight of eggs made her want to puke. One waitress was chasing her very young, crying kid all over the restaurant while she was attempting to take our order. She literally just walked away from the table while one of us was trying to give her their order. Of course the drinks and food she brought out were wrong because she was distracted by her kid. We docked our boat looking for a place to cool off and grab some lunch. Apparently this is a new plaza and Another Broken Egg was the only place open. Since we couldn't decide between lunch or something sweet my husband and I decided to split a sandwich and a waffle. We ordered the grilled chicken tender sandwich with a cookie dough waffle. The sandwich was a bit of a disappointment. It was supposed to have avocado and ranch dressing on it but when it was served it had neither. I asked my server for the avocado and was charged for it. After telling her it was supposed to be on the sandwich she did remove the charge and explained she didn't know it was supposed to come with avocado. Apparently the cooks didn't realize it either. Definitely should get to know their menu better! However the cookie dough waffle was amazing! It is definitely worth trying because I promise you won't be disappointed! read more
