I just left this location and had terrible service. I brought my family for Sunday brunch and had to wait 10 minutes to be served. The waiter was not friendly at all. He didn't smile and had a terrible tone. We spent most of our time there waiting on him to address the table because we didn't see him. When we left, we saw him out back smoking. I am guessing this is the reason. The food was alright, but our poor experience trumps that a great deal. We live about 3 minutes away, but we won't be visiting this location again. read more

If you receive an online order, and quote a time for pickup 15 minutes after, there should be a reasonable expectation that the order will be ready in about 15-20 minutes. If the kitchen is overrun, that's a sign of business success - good for you! Then setting expectations for the customer who ended up waiting 50 minutes for their order would probably be a good idea. Being sympathetic, perhaps even apologetic would be a good approach - rather than combative and excuse-laden. I will not be eating here again. I've been to many Another Broken Egg Cafes, but won't wait my time or money at this location again. I want to start by saying that I am not easily impressed at all and tend to be too critical when it comes to restaurants. That being said, I have never been so impressed and unable to find a single thing to critique. From the second I walked in to the time I left, it was a wonderful experience! I want to talk about the Manager, Harley, because I believe it starts at the top. She was the most impressive manager I have encountered and it was a pleasure to just observe her working and engaging with customers and her staff. She had a great attitude and smile and she was constantly moving and getting things done! That is rare these days. I even asked two different employees how they enjoyed working g for her. The younger male smiled and said she was the best boss ever! The server said the same thing while adding that Harley works hard every day and always encourages them and tells them good job. She thanked me as I was leaving and I told her how impressed I was and asked if I could have contact info for someone above her so I can let them know how great it was. I have been to other Another Broken Egg locations and this one is certainly on par with the great reputation of those . First and foremost , the biscuit beignets? Beignyaying (banging )! I love the fresh jelly and the sweetness . It's like you have died and ended up in a New Orleans heaven I declare ! The omelettes are absolutely fabulous but the real star was that banana foster pancake . Now how do you say yum in every language !? I declare I do not know but will learn for this occasion. The only reason they got four stars is because we had a bit of a wait when I went and honey I declare my feet were swelling from standing so long with there limited seating. This has been one the worst experiences I have had in a long time. We understand the hour+ wait on a Sunday morning but during our wait a waitress spilled hot coffee on my 5 year old daughter and her bag without an apology. The waitress continue to serve the coffee while we waited for her to bring two napkins. Once seated at our table, the waiter had an attitude and didn't use a notepad to take down our order. When I asked if he was good or did he need to get a pad he smirked with a look to say how dare I ask him that. All details of our order was wrong! If I could give less than one star I would. The experience wasn't something I would rave about. This is my second experience at this establishment and I had high expectations due to my first encounter. Upon arriving, I was surprised that it wasn't as packed at most establishments on a Saturday during brunch. We were seated immediately and was given the normal service of drink orders and menus. Once we took our order, the experience went downhill. I personally did not like the service that we received. We waited close to 20 minutes for our food to come out. Keep in mind, they were not packed and we didn't order anything that would take a large amount of time. Our waitress did not come to check on us at any time during our wait to see if we needed refills or wanted to order anything else. Once the food arrived, we still didn't see the waitress until we were still eating and she came and picked up the food around the table. Now, don't get me wrong, I understand the importance to taking empty plates to clear the table, but that normally comes after we are eating, not in the middle and not without asking first. It took another 20 minutes for the waitress to come back and check on us. By now, we were ready to go. Not only did she not ask if the check was together or separate, it was taken that it was all separate checks. With it actually being only one check, she didn't go and reprint the checks, she just snatched the checks and gave them to one person. I ultimately just expected a better experience. I will visit another location, but I am not sure that the food is worth the customer service. read more

I felt that the ambiance and food was merely a step above Denny's and didn't offer the amusing characters available for people watching at a Waffle House. The price point is far too high for the food, and the portions were smaller than expected. Great place for a delicious hearty breakfast! My wife and I were in town from Seattle for a conference and stopped by here for some good ol' southern cooking. Our waitress Amber S. took the best care of us and even delivered some complimentary delicious beignets for us to sample. We both ordered traditional Eggs Benedict and were not disappointed! No reception upon entering and had to wave down someone to seat us. No prices on menu but ordered what we believed to be something good for our taste buds and bodies. Sausage was on spicy side, potatoes bland, and gravy tasted like paste. Avocado for avocado toast was some sort of mash/guac and fresh avocado would have been preferred. Tableside service was lacking as well. Several greasy spots on floor which made it slippery heading to bathroom and even more dangerous coming back out and moving out of restaurant as the grease clung to soles of shoes. Best gluten free breakfast I have ever had! The food was so delicious and the service great. Being gluten intolerant can make going out to eat very difficult so I was pleasantly surprised they have a completely gluten free menu and the servers were knowledgeable about what my options were. I asked if they would put mine in the microwave and warm it. She took the plate and came back maybe 7 minutes later and was still cold. I don't think it was placed in the microwave at all.
