4/5 Toast It Iz offers a stylish brunch experience with attractive décor, creative menu items, and plates that are as visually appealing as they are satisfying. I ordered the Meat Lovers Omelet with potatoes. The ingredients were fresh and the temperature was spot on, but the seasoning could have been bolder, and I've had better omelets and breakfast potatoes elsewhere. The undisputed star of our meal was Bethany's Peach Cobbler French Toast. It had excellent texture, balanced sweetness, and enough flavor that it didn't need a drop of syrup. If you're visiting for the first time, that's the item I'd recommend ordering. My wife also enjoyed her Banana Pudding Waffle, especially paired with the eggs, bacon, and standout cheese grits. The cheese grits were creamy, flavorful, and one of the best savory items we sampled. Presentation across every plate was impressive, and everything arrived hot and fresh. The only disappointment was the service. Our waitress checked on us just once after our food arrived, even though we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. A little more attentiveness would have elevated the overall experience. Despite that, Toast It Iz is a place I'd gladly visit again. The atmosphere is inviting, the food is thoughtfully prepared, and the Peach Cobbler French Toast alone is worth the trip.

Everything was top notch! Food! Ambiance...loved the black gold and green decor! Service! Great brunch spot! We started with fried green tomatoes...5 crispy slices with yummy Cajun dipping sauce! My son had catfish and grits, hubby had gumbo catfish and grits and I had lamb chops and sweet potato pecan waffle. The place was clean and so were our plates!

Honestly this place has some grrreeeeeat food here. Came here on a Sunday around 1:30 for brunch. I've been wanting to try them for months. So first service was really good. Our server Tay was really sweet and made sure we stayed full on drinks. She also made sure I got my fourth lamb chop I will say however my lamb chops were not cooked equally. Two were medium well, one medium and one well done. Flavor was on point though and great presentation. You really get your moneys worth! Now these appetizers were really good. Croquettes could have had a little more flavor or maybe a nice remoulade or something to dip. Wings were fresh out the grade and spicy how I like them. My best friends both got catfish and MY GOD it was huge portions but fried perfectly. Ambiance was nice, the decor is really pretty here. Just be prepared to hear like 5+ birthday songs when you come lol. It was a little loud with the music but nothing I couldn't handle. Will be back!

Went by today while in town. First of all the whole staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone was so friendly and made you feel welcome. The menu had a wide variety of food and everything looked great. The French toast was so good and my boyfriend said his salmon croquet eggs Benedict was one of the best he's had. If I have time I will 100% be back to try more food on their menu.

Food was good. Portion size also good Service... very nice server, but forgot drinks, had to ask for condiments when they could've been placed on the table ahead of time. Food took over 40 minutes to arrive to us. Had to ask for refills on drinks. A couple of the drinks never arrived and lemon for the water was never given to us. They also have a max time you can sit at your table of 90 minutes, so others can be seated. A sign is posted at the hostess stand when you first come in.

Our first time here and it was everything. The food was well prepared and thoughtful! The servers were attentive and prompt. Bell our server had that brunch swag. He was courteous and did I say swag. I love to see and feel the culture vibe. It was refreshing and reflects the change that Huntsville needs! #WeRHere #CultureMadeByUS! #ToastItUpLyfe

If you are looking for a true Atlanta brunch experience, this spot delivers. The music sets the tone and the vibe is on point. We did not have a long wait to be seated, which was a plus. My party of two was seated at 12:38 and we did not receive our food until about 1:21, so service is definitely on the slower side. That said, the atmosphere helps make the wait more tolerable. Through observation, the staff appeared busy and possibly understaffed, which may explain the delay. Overall, it is a good place to enjoy music, good energy, and a laid back brunch. Just come with patience and extra time. Realistically, I would like to leave 3.5 stars.

    Catfish and Grits

Arrived at 11:00 a.m. Sunday without reservations. We were seated immediately. I ordered catfish and grits and my wife ordered pancakes with eggs and sides. The menu has lots of great choices! The server was pleasant and attentive. Food came out reasonably fast and the portions were large and food was very tasty. The cajun style sauce on the grits was decadent. Will return soon to try Salmon eggs Benedict. By far one if the best brunch spots in Huntsville. The mimosa towers and marg flights looked amazing also.

We ordered three different plates for the table,…read moreand every single one came out cold, not just lukewarm, but like it had been sitting in a refrigerator and never reheated. The only items that were actually hot were the catfish and a hotdog. Our waitress took about 20 minutes to come back and take our order, and after the food was delivered, we didn't see her again for quite a while. That meant we never had the chance to mention the food was cold, couldn't get refills, and were left sitting there waiting for the check. When she finally returned roughly 25 minutes later, she saw that most of the food was untouched and didn't question it at all. At that point, we just paid and left. To make matters worse, there's a section of the ceiling actively leaking a dark, sticky substance that looks like honey, which is pretty concerning. The pepper sauce for the greens also had peppers that had turned completely white, not even a tiny of green or yellow anymore. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We won't be returning.

I know it travels a ways to get here, just still pricey - Smoking area in garage/bar seating *if that bothers you* - cold out back depending on the time of year
