Food and service was fair. Prices are high for quality and portion. Flying Biscuit is far better. I ordered the Benedict Burger, which was overcooked while the egg was undercooked. The ham was so thin and overcooked it was like leather. The entire sandwich was smothered in hollandaise sauce. The waitress never came back to ask about meals. When she came to clear I nicely described my disappointment, which she shrugged off. Made no offer to provide a credit on our next visit. Thus, there will never be a next visit. read more

It's a one hour drive for me but when I tried this dining establishment yesterday, it IS worth the drive! Our server Teri was amazing in explaining the menu to me and it's one of the few places I've found with an actual (separate) Gluten free, AND separate Vegetarian menu. I had the GF pancakes with fried eggs and an Applewood maple sausage. The egg was cooked perfectly and delicious and so were both the pancakes and the sausage. I'd say this is the best GF breakfast I've ever had as I often can only eat eggs (since the doctor also took me off high fat pork). There are also delightful seasonal selections to choose from and Mocktails for beverages. I also had Jeremy, the restaurant manager, come to my table to make sure everything is fine. This is a rarity nowadays except for some few restaurants. Since I can only eat chicken, the meat options for breakfast also made me happy. The gluten-free menu was extensive offering both breakfast and lunch (sandwiches) choices. Wow! I'll definitely be returning again soon! This gem is definitely worth the drive! Check it out! Insanely, ridiculously and uncomfortably cold in this restaurant. So cold you can feel the cold air blowing on you no matter where you sit. The food and service is good but difficult to enjoy and relax when you're shivering the entire time. We been here a handful of times but I don't think I can make this a regular place due to the freezing temperature. For someone with Raynauds it makes for a painful experience by the time you're done eating. Their patio has no awnings or shades for the sun so sitting out there lends itself to sitting directly in the sun. Polar opposite experiences........pun intended. read more

Really wanted to try this place out. Busy but the hostess offered us two seats at the bar, which always works for us. Ordered breakfast, and 40 minutes later they didn't get the order right. We had breakfast here this morning. We have been doing a different breakfast place every week around The Villages. This restaurant, by far, outshines any restaurant in The Villages for breakfast. The food was so delicious, the service was good, and the manager checked on every table after they were served. We ate outside and they will need some kind of shading soon as there were only 4 tables in the shade. They also have a nice bar area inside. Can't wait to try their lunch! The food was average. The serving size for potatoes for breakfast is about a half a cup and cost almost $5. If you want a cup of coffee expect to pay $4. The service was below average as I waited at least 20 minutes to have my cup of coffee refilled!. Our waitress did the best she could with all the work that she had to do! There were other staff members there who seemed to do a lot of walking around but not much else! The ambience is as expected for the area. We had breakfast at the Brownwood location in the villages, this past Friday. First time there , and was very impressed by the quality of food, service provided by a young woman by the name of Siatera who was very friendly and knowledgeable of the food we were looking at. Had Breakfast there this morning. I had Salmon Benedict and my wife a half order of Beignets. Both had Coffee which was not hot. Waitress replaced with new cups of hot coffee. Beignets were nothing like you get in New Orleans. Nothing to write home about. My Salmon Benedict was served with no hollandaise sauce. Eggs were hard boiled so had to send them back. They left my plate on the table and returned 10 minutes later with new eggs in a small cup. I had to remove the old ones and replace with the new ones myself. Potatoes which were also left to get colder were not hot to begin with and not very good compared to others I have had in many places. Eggs were served on a bagel with Smoked Salmon and cream cheese. Not very good to serve hot eggs atop of cold cream cheese. All in all a bad experience and not at all worth the cost of $40 including tip! Will not return! read more

We Love eating breakfast out and have eaten at ABEC multiple times. It never disappoints - excellent coffee drinks, great food selections and great service. I would have given it 5 stars but it's a tad pricey. I have found that all the breakfast places in The Villages are pricey definitely not diner food. read more

We waited 30 minutes for our breakfast. I ordered a traditional eggs Benedict. Their potatoes only come as cubes deep fried no hash browns. There was very little hollandaise sauce and I did ask for more. It was not Canadian bacon but ham. It was really tough to chew. I had a serrated knife and had trouble cutting the ham and the English muffin. One positive was the grits were good. The restaurant is very loud. I did not have a good experience! read more

A wonderful new place for brunch in The Villages. My eggs Benedict was perfectly delicious and my husband's meal of pancakes and eggs also just right. Great service any time my friends & I go to Another Broken Egg Cafe. Adorable coffee cups (they have a mini golf cart on them), and the staff are quick with a coffee refill.
