A going away party hosted by a great coworker of mine for a great coworker... Had me here for the first time. They picked a table on the patio. The picture and beautiful background was more than breathtaking. Bathrooms were spotless! I was greeted warmly at the bar counter where you place orders as directed by the peeps I was with.... I had the Mexican style lager and it quenched the thirst I had as I walked in and spotted all the beer tanks. But then I wanted a pickle inspired drink beer... they had it - washed everything down nicely. The kiltpin was also so tasty!!! The staff definitely helped us to feel very comfortable in the place.. I saw the outdoor space which really makes the atmosphere really fun !!! I think I saw some outside games.. I'm so thankful that I stopped by. I definitely have this listed on a must return spot! This is my favorite brewery to go to when I'm in downtown Oklahoma City. I've been able to enjoy their beer since they moved from the Brewers Union way back in the day. Every time I go in, they have a great bartender who is super friendly and is always available to answer questions and make sure that Everyone there is well taken care of. I always try to have some of their canned beer in my beer fridge at home so when I have guests over, they can try something different and they are never disappointed. read more

Visited this place on a Sunday for bingo. It was very crowded. It was cold so no outside space. They also had a band playing which was very loud in the small space. The place however had a very cool vibe. Everyone working was super nice and they were able to keep up with the large crowd. Will plan to be back when it is nicer outside. read more

If you like a well made brew and trying multiple varieties. This place has you covered. It's impressive to find a brewery that cover all styles and does it well. I personally like rich and malty beers but you can also get IPA, Sours, and even ciders. Inside is spacious and comfortable. With a few couches or nice solid tables. Has a rustic and industrial vibe. And plenty of good lookin souvenirs. No food near by but they do have a few snack options. Good size out door patio area. Would be better with a few heaters, or fire pits. All that aside, I like the beer and will definitely be coming back. read more

Clean bright place with plenty of parking. The tap selections were plenty. They only had some crisps to eat but barman indicated they often have a food truck outside. They are dog friendly. Service was super fast and friendly. The barman knew their beers and other drinks well. They gave ciders, sours, and hard sodas too. Saturday is flight day apparently. My favorite was the Dark Velvet. Could improve presentation by having the glass logo face patron. I would recommend to others. read more

Was nearby and decided to stop by and I am glad I did. They have been in business for five years and have great owner (The Angry Scotsman). I had some great tastings of their beers. They rotate the beer selection seasonally with a good selection of core beers on year round . They had 20 on at the time I was there. Really liked the El Pastor (nice balance of lime) and Czech Pils. You can get "to go" canned beer as well as growlers. They have snacks for food, but you can get delivery. They sometimes have a food truck. Check FB or Instagram for events and schedules. We started out by getting samples, which is a good idea. I tried the Rusty Kilpin, which is their "flagship beer" and is 5.3% ABV AND I LOVE IT. I ordered a larger glass. It is described as "our flagship, malty Scottish 80/- ale. Rich mahogany color, packed full of biscuity caramel and complex vanilla malt bites with a clean finish. This is a Scottish Ale not . . . " I described out as full-bodies and creamy and yum! My friend ordered samples of The Fortitude and it's described as "Belgian-style Tripe combining traditionally fruity, yeast-derived eseter's with a warming alcohol presence abs dry finish." I think it tasted like paint thinner. Blech! My friends ordered the Gateway to Helles which is also good, but I like a heavier beer. It is described as "year-round flagship Munich Helles lager. A clean, crisp and refreshing German lager that's complex yet simple and sessionable on a hot day". I also approved of this. Then - in other words, they have a lot of great local beers. Love this spot! We came here yesterday for their Oktoberfest. It was our first time visiting, I wish I'd looked it up a bit beforehand because we totally would've brought our pups with had we known we could. Loved seeing all the furry babies out living their best lives. The interior of this place is super pretty and I really like the design concept. The outdoor area is spacious and well kept with cover if needed for the blazing sun. Yesterday's weather was perfect though and we really enjoyed just sitting outdoors people watching and having a few drinks. Large beer selection and I was really pleased that they had some wine options as well (beer is sometimes just too heavy for me). The only sadness was that we didn't arrive early enough to score some of their steins for the event, they sold out earlier in the day (early bird and all...)! read more

This is a great place to either relax with your friends for a beer, or to be entertained during the weekly specialty events this place hosts. I am a self-titled 'beer snob' who can appreciate a brewer having more in his/her repertoire than a bunch of extremely hoppy IPAs. From German and Belgian flavors, to fruity Saisons, to nitro-based dark flavors, the Scotsman provides a really good variety (including IPAs for those of you who like that). This is one of the few places in Oklahoma that offers a stout that isn't Guinness - and likely the ONLY bar of any kind in OKC that has nitrogen-based beers at the tap. The hottest gig at this joint is the Wednesday trivia night. It isn't the standard trivia fare, as he includes a picture round, and a music round. The reigning champion is pretty tough, so bring friends with a good base of knowledge in everything. You also have a choice to sit indoors or outdoors if the weather is agreeable. The patio space has a Biergarten feel to it, with a view of downtown; and both inside and outside are dog-friendly (assuming your dog doesn't get freaked out by the usually-bustling inside seating area or other dogs). But, naturally, the five stars from me are based on beer and trivia night. Make your own decision. read more

I'm it the biggest fan of Angrys main beer so I was hesitant to try the tap room. Big. Mistake. They had a fun variety of beers which was exciting. However the real winner is the location. I have been drinking their beer since before they had got their own space and one thing that has stuck with me all this time is that they truly care about their clients and are good people. Fast forward to now one of my favorite breweries in town. Great space, great people, and great beer. Can't really ask for more, but then the view! Beautiful view of Devon from the area they sit. They even have an area for live music and occasionally have food trucks set up. I can't say enough about everything you definitely need to check it out. Even if you don't drink beer you can find a reason to see them because they have an amazing patio,hard cider, and wine options. My sense is they tried to take in consideration all things when they decided to venture into this industry. New favorite brewery in town. Open 7 days a week with a variety of good, really good, craft beer. Flavors are amazing, the patio is legit, and the prices are actually affordable. The staff go above an beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. If I had to criticize anything it would be the lack of appropriate parking, but I am sure they are working on it. You will find a cooler with some canned beers I had not seen at the liquor store before. Their Belgian triple is probably on the top of my list (not my favorite beer ever, just a good beer). So the Angry Scotsman Brewing just opened a tasting room in their new brew house. They have awesome plans to expand the space and have a giant patio which I can't wait to check out this coming summer. I went to the brewery this past Saturday night with 3 of my girlfriends, and I have to say we were very pleased with not only the product but the service and atmosphere as well! The bar tender/brew expert was extremely knowledgeable and kind. He let us sample all of the beers giving an extensive explanation about their type and flavor. He went above and beyond with great service by giving my friend that was celebrating her birthday a free flight. Very nice touch! We all agreed that our favorite beer was the Pilsner! But, all of them were fun to try and tasted great. I especially appreciated the tongue and cheek humor with the beer names. All in all a cool little spot and I look forward to visiting again when the renovations are all done! read more

This has become our favorite pandemic patio! The colorful umbrellas make it so charming and the tables are spaced well. It is dog friendly and there is always a food truck, hot dog stand or some kind of eats available. Of course the brews are good too! Ask for samples or get a flight and try them all! There is plenty of parking and you have a great view of the downtown skyline. The taproom is very nice too, but we are patio people at heart. They even have heaters outside for when the weather turns chilly. We have met some delightful people while patio-ing and the staff at AS are super friendly & helpful! The Scotsman may be angry but the patrons & employees at this fabulous brewery are definitely NOT! read more
