Anytime I am in OKC by way of Baltimore, I find myself at Prairie Ales. Always a great time! Amazing counter service and excellent variety of beer, especially seasonals. The vibe here is positive and laid back. The Thai place inside is delicious, also. Cool place with tasty brew!

Great beers! Love their experimental tendencies, and they have some of the best sours and stouts in the Oklahoma. A huge favorite is the Thai Delight, and the vibe and energy of the place is incredible. Great for any occasion, and love that they are next to a coffee/tea shop, pickleball court, pho venue and within walking distance to other incredible venues. Quick service and very personable servers.

Came for trivia on a Sunday afternoon. Parking was really easy, location easy to find in the 8th street market. I loved the selection of beers, lots of variety for every type of beer drinker. Can bring your own food in but I tried the Asian restaurant next door. Would definitely come back!

Set inside a larger building with other businesses, this place is adorable for a midday happy hour. They have their own Pickleball court adjacent to the seating area, which you can rent by the hour or portion there of when it's not so busy. They have a full list of beer, options, and the open air seating area gives a lovely feeling with a well lit and upbeat vibe. They have lots of customized merch, and their own unique flavors. All the cups are branded, and it really delivers a cohesive experience. We tried one of their hazy IPAs and it was delicious. We were just passing through Oklahoma City on a road trip from Florida to Colorado and My bags were too full to fit any more T-shirts, so even though the designs were cute I opted for a sticker to commemorate the experience. Thank you!

Prairie is always great. They have new stuff weekly. Wild Esses is my current favorite. Tastes just like skittles in liquid form. They don't offer tastes anymore though, so you just have to buy a pour and hope you like it. Which seems silly. I guess people were abusing it. It's in a cute building too. We always stop anytime we are in okc.

Oh my gosh ! I can't say enough good things about this brewery. From the staff, the beers, the pricing, the location, and vibes! Their beers are greatly priced. You can't go wrong with the any of the sours. You can bring your pip and can sit inside with them. There is outside seating it was just a bit hot for us to sit outside today.

Chill atmosphere, great selection, games available (boo & I played Shut the Box while drinking 3 pours each). Boo is an IPA fan, but the two IPAs he's tasted from here are just ok; their strength is really sours & stouts. We are not living in a place with easy access to their beers, so we left with 6 4-packs and a stout to bring home with us. Really great variety of sours

I absolutely loved the experience here! I'm from Detroit and discovered their sour beers in my travels across the country. When the opportunity presented itself to visit I made a detour from Tulsa to OKC specifically to visit Prairie, and it did not disappoint. Not only were the beers excellent, top notch and amazing (as expected), but the staff was incredibly welcoming as well. Really could not have been a better experience. I wish I could visit more often, and if I get even half a chance to return I certainly will!!!

Quite possibly my favorite beers of all time. I'd sit here all day if they had a playground for the kids. Haven't had a single beer from prairie that I disliked I grabbed up the patches beer because , well it's amazing

This place blew me away! And that's coming from someone who doesn't drink a lot of beer or who checks out breweries often. However, my friends and I signed up for a bike tour with Ride OKC and it was one of the stops along the way and my favorite one of them all. I love the exotic flavors this place has to offer and how it's so hipster. Kimdlike you're in the middle of an outdoor garden market. The things I didn't like about this place is that they don't offer tasting sizes. It would be nice to have a taster...or at least a sampling limit for people who aren't beer drinkers like me. Lucky for me, I was with a group and was able to sample theirs before making a selection. I ended up with a stout and boy, was it milky and delicious. I can't wait for it to get cooler outside so I can go back for that specific beer. Overall, I love the overall vibe of this place and would high key recommend it to anyone who needed a beer spot.

My favorite Okc brewery! Snuggled inside the 8th Street Market is the heart of my favorite sours! Always fresh and tasty with knowledgeable staff! Lots of natural light coming in, just a whole vibe.

Shining jewel in the crown of great OKC breweries! By far, my favorite of all I visited. Tried 4oz pours of Hollaback Girl, Thai Delight, Billy Joel Radio, 'Merica Y'all, and full pours of Bucket Hat and Smashed El Dorado. If you like sours, refreshing IPAs, and unique brews, this is your place. Service was excellent, bartender chatty but not pushy and very informative on helping choose brews, sizes, what to try next, etc. atmosphere was great, indoors but felt outdoors with all the open space. MUST stop on any brewery tour/crawl if OKC.

Oh how we love prairie okc! My introduction to sour beers was prairie rainbow sherbet! It's still my absolute go to beer and always have a 12 pack on hand! The space here is great! It is pet friendly and I was unsure for such a long time. There are other shops inside the building which is nice. There is also a restaurant inside! I believe it's changed a few times but every time I've tried it, it's all been good. I come in and try out all the new flavors and I enjoy some other sours in addition to the rainbow sherbet but some of the others are very sweet made from candy usually. Delicious just not my preference. If you haven't checked them out, you are missing out!

The place is deceptively small from the street, but has quite a lot of room and a rooftop patio. My wife had a Hudson and some cucumber salad, and I ordered the monthly roast beef special and some tomato soup. Everything was excellent. I suspect there are no bad choices here. We're looking forward to going back next time we're ripping down I-35. The dogs are, too.

The menu board had plenty of options that caught my eye, but I knew the mission when I walked through the door -- BURGER! I ordered the Oklahoma Smashie, a double smash burger with two beef patties, American cheese, grilled onions, pickles and Goose Sauce. This was a very tasty burger! The patties had those crispy edges you want from a smash burger, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the pickles and sauce pulled everything together. For my side, I went with the cucumber salad. I really wanted to like this one, but unfortunately it was the slight disappointment of the meal. It wasn't bad, it just didn't hit the same level as that burger. The Goose describes itself as a dive bar and sandwich shop, but I actually found the place pretty interesting. It has that comfortable neighborhood-joint feel -- nothing fancy, just a cool place to sit down, grab some food and enjoy lunch with a friend. Service was also excellent. The person working the counter was friendly, answered all of our questions and offered some great suggestions without rushing us. Overall: 4 's from me. The Oklahoma Smashie definitely delivered, and looking at everything else on that menu, I've already got a few reasons to come back. This one is absolutely getting a return visit!

They seemed to love them, but it's not hard to mess up a plate of batter fried food. The chicken lollipops maybe could've been really good, but I'm not a honey BBQ fan. Even just a plain buffalo option or something more unique like a sweet gochujang. Really wish there were just any other flavor options than BBQ. But I did like the pairing with the pickled onions and pickle slices. The ribeye sandwich was the biggest let down though. The meat was thin and dry. I was expecting a grilled ribeye, just sliced for a sandwich. But it was more like Philly cheesesteak type of meat. The mayo was heavy handed. It needed something to brighten up the flavors a little, like maybe more horseradish and a drizzle of balsamic reduction? It was good in concept, lacking in execution. Service was fine. "Diced grilled chicken, shredded romaine, avocado, pico de gallo, black beans, corn, mozzarella cheese, citrus dressing, cumin-lime sour cream drizzle, crispy flour tortilla shell" It was packed up well, and I appreciated that they packed the chicken separately, as it was still hot and didn't affect the texture of the salad. It was just a 5 minute walk back to my hotel room so everything was fresh. At first I was impressed with the salad, until I realized it was atop a giant fried tortilla that took up half the to go container. Like a chipotle burrito sized tortilla. It had a lot of corn and black beans, but it was short on the pico and avocado and frankly lettuce. Though a good amount of chicken, which was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The citrus dressing was tasty but very watery and did not cling to the salad. It mostly just pooled at the bottom. The sour cream didn't seem to have any lime, but just tasted like bitter dried chili powder. The fried tortilla was crispy and oily and mostly wasted. The salad was just ok. Probably better to eat at the location and not as a takeaway. I have been here a couple of times and the best thing I have had here were the green beans. They're very good green beans. Everything else has been pretty average.
