    East Boston

IF YOU LIVED HERE , YOU WOULD BE HOME BY NOW…read more One of Boston's Still best-kept secret (sort- of) Many neighborhoods in Boston claim to be diverese , but East Boston is the real deal ! Carmen's Kitchen, Pier's Park ,Santarpio's , Jevelli's, Rincon Limeno, Chivas, Pho Vietnam, Taqueria Cancun Ecco are just some of the gems for Eastie residents or those lucky enough to go through the tunnel. But we like it that way . Jeffries Point is the quieter , nicer side of East Boston , closest to Maverick T. This place was all Italian back in the day , most houses are triple deckers ( East Boston is known for them) and some are being made into condo's . Although it's OLD MONEY VS. NEW MONEY ! This is where you have that old-world neighborhood feeling yet are still within city limits ( and even close to the Airport). It is getting yuppified now but views from Eastie to Boston are UNMATCHED. And Pier's Park is a wonder to be seen that only few hear about and even FEWER get the luxury to see . Voted my some publication's as Boston's Hidden Food Gem - East Boston due to it's diverse and ethnic eateries all through out . From Colombian to Brazilian to Morrocan to Italian....you can all get it here and not just any , but DAMN GOOD Simply put : One of Boston's best kept secret

It can be a pain sometimes but generally it's a good thing, since it makes the neighborhood safer and friendlier. Water views, great restaurants, parks, and a real neighborhood feel, all at an affordable price. What more could anyone want?

Not Portside, not that new Clipper Ship development, not the border street project, not anything. The rooftop deck on the 17th floor with stunning views of the Seaport, Downtown, Zakim bridge, airport and Charlestown is something you can't get anywhere else. The 2nd floor pool deck, I literally spend every sunny day up there and it's not crowded Monday through Friday and has amazing views of the harbor and friendly neighbors to chat with. Great indoor amenities too if you want to host a dinner party, they have a gas stove and a pool table with a ginormous TV and sofas. Our Super Bowl party was a blast. There is a puppy washing room too if you are into dogs, and lots of green space outside for walking said dogs. We've met so many dogs since moving here. It's like a dog paradise. We moved here from Charlestown in November 2016 and they offer a 15 month lease which is awesome. Our first floor apartment has it's own door to the outside which would be even more useful if we had a dog. Everyday I can sit on my sofa and watch giant ships cruise by within yards of my window. It's breathtaking. The management and leasing staff are friendly, accommodating and always asking how they can make the Eddy better. They often organize great events for residents and provide free donuts, candy and ice cream throughout the year in the lobby. If something breaks, Jose the maintenance guy is right there to fix it and is friendly! 24/7 concierges are very nice and will notify you when packages arrive and Brandon will always open the door for you if he's not on the phone. We love Brandon. Brandon, please don't ever leave. Update: The restaurant here has improved, plus we moved 15 stories up so we can't hear the restaurant noise anymore. Five stars for the Eddy! We love it here, won't you be my neighbor??

Finally, a new person to the company completed the request and we found that this particular apartment had a view facing a brick wall. So, we opted for another which was 40% smaller and didn't even have a closet. After a bit more searching we ended up signing a few blocks away at Boston East. The apartment we have there isn't 400 sq feet, it's nearly 700 for the same price. The management is on it and very responsive at Boston East.

The process was so easy and straightforward. He was very attentive, personable, and took the time to carefully listen to what I needed, and then suggested a few units - he was right on. It was everything I wanted. I really felt like he took the time to really listen and shared his knowledge of the different available options. I had reached out a bit early and as soon as units became available, he took the initiative to follow up with me to schedule a time. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend him if you're looking for your next home! You want someone who cares, is knowledgeable and has your best interest in mind.
