These people absolutely suck at their jobs. If you value your time and money and your child/children do not take your kids here. They will only set you up for multiple appointments to charge you and your insurance to only do nothing and then blame your kids for not being able to sit long in the dentist chair. Then they will set you up for an another appointment only to cancel the day before, after you have already taken time off work and made other arrangements so you can make the appointment that was made at last visit. Then when you question them they will blame a so called employee that supposedly doesn't work their anymore. We for one will not be going back, but finding another dentist that is not afraid to do their job that they get paid so much money to do. This place wasted 3 months of our time and they wanted us to come back in 6 months for re-evaluation... well that's not going to happen. read more

The front desk staff is unprofessional they told me that my child insurance has a second insurance and I had to call medicaid.. when I talked to medicaid I was told there wasn't a second insurance and there was no reason why my child couldn't be seen. The only thing it shows was there a partial co pay for pharmacy that was going to expire at the end of the month. Medicaid was the only insurance for medical and dental it shows. Medicaid told me to they them and if they had any questions they can call medicaid themselves so they can explain. The rude staff thought I was lying and told me they wasn't calling and they wasn't taking my child any longer because I hung up on them... smh I was at work couldn't talk I told them that.... staff is rude, unprofessional and disrespectful!!!!! read more

I contacted Anthem Pediatric Dentistry for services when my son was complaining of a tooth ache. When I contacted their office they said that they would be happy to get him in for treatment today. After looking over my son's tooth and explaining the options for treatment, the doctor refused to perform any service to alleviate my son's pain. Apparently their office closes at 12 on Friday and he did not want to be bothered to do any actual dental work. If this was the case, they should not have allowed us to create the appointment. I was then told that the earliest appointment we can make is not until May 8th. During the explanation for treatment, the "doctor" implied multiple times that I did not have the finances to pay for services. I live in Henderson and traveled to this location simply because this office claimed to have the ability to treat my son same day. I am not impressed in the least and would not recommend this office to anyone. read more

Dr. Sulabh Shroff lost all respect from me and my husband today. My son needed an extraction and yesterday when my husband brought him in, they were completely fine with just an extraction for now and we would work on the cavaties later on. My husband said everything was great and the staff was kind and understanding. My husband shows up today and they have on the sheet that my son was scheduled for the extraction and all the fillings and sealant; they even had already portioned out the sedative for the whole thing. My husband explained that was not what he agreed upon and Dr. Shroff went into Authoritarian mode and began to say that if my husband didn't agree to the fillings, sealants and extraction, he would dismiss us from the practice. We got the extraction and are happily looking for a new dentist. Its a shame too since yesterday, we were very excited over the respect and understanding with us wanting to wait on the cavaties so we were prepared to switch all three kids over to the practice for their routine care but now we would never go back. I had already worked on a treatment plan with another dentist would wanted to monitor the cavaties since they are on his baby teeth and see how they progress over the next few months but we had some billing issues so hence why we switched for the extraction since that couldn't wait. This office was nicely designed for kids, not overly clean. The kids room needed to be wiped down daily. The fro t desk staff was nice. Dr Jeff Cox was very quick and not kid friendly at all!! He couldn't get us out of the office fast enough. My daughter split her tooth and he suggested we put her out with General Anastasia. He was rough and not gentle in any shape or form! Luckily I got a second opinion before putting out a 3 year old. We got her tooth pulled and used laughing gas, a less invasive way to pull a tooth and the dentist we ended up going to was amazing, kind and gentle and you could definitely tell the difference from a doctor who doesn't care to one who truly cares and loves kids. My daughter who is 13 loved this office. Although it caters to younger kids which makes total sense, everyone was extremely nice, the dental hygienist who cleaned her teeth was awesome. He was a younger gentleman and I wish I got his name. He was very gentle. I also liked the dentist. He was very nice and explained things in detail. There was actually an incident last week where my daughter needed an emergency referral. The office was on it immediately and the Dentist (first name is Jeff) spent 25 minutes on the phone with me advising me what would be best for my daughter. That was very much appreciated. read more

I came here as my daughters dentist no longer accepted my insurance. I met with Dr. Sulabh Shroff and he was a kind and caring professional. He explained all of the treatment options and answered all of my questions. My daughter needed surgery and it was scheduled at an out patient surgery center. Dr. Shroff together with Dr. Kevin Garth(anesthesia provider) made my daughters surgery a success. They are both very knowledgeable and skilled professionals. I have been to this dentist office three times, took my two daughters there for their first dentist visit ever At first they were very nice. This place was recommended to me through a family member. I was concerned about a cavity that was developing on my daughters tooth they told me that they would want to see her for her next visit and see how the cavity was developing because she was small in age. When I came back for the check up, their telling me that they wanted to do a procedure that would be at a surgical center and obviously my daughter being under five years old I was very nervous about it. They told me that it is completely safe and reassured me that she would be fine. They started telling me that they would need a prior authorization and that they would call me back when that was approved through my insurance. I am double covered and when I called back because they never called me back to tell me of the prior authorization had gone through their telling me that one of my insurances does not want to cover anything and that the other one I have a ridiculous copayment of $350 which I do not my co-pay is $50 per person when I called the insurance they're telling me that they don't understand why they're trying to charge me more than what they submitted for which is a difference of between $400 and $500 extra. When I called the other insurance they told me that they have never submitted a prior authorization and that they work perfectly well with my other insurance so to call back and ask them to submit authorization to them so they can explain benefits. I have heard of dental office is trying to scam people with their insurances but I never really thought that this was something serious when I'm trying to call back the office they are not picking up my phone call. I love this place! The staff is super friendly and works great with my kids! My youngest daughter hates going to get her teeth fixed, but this place has wonderful and very patient staff who take their time with the kids and explain everything thoroughly. It also helps that the staff is bilingual ;) they also give you great referrals, incase your kids need extra work done. Definitely will keep bringing my kids here again! read more

Do NOT go to this dentist office! Dirty toys and rude, impersonal dentist! We went in for a standard exam & cleaning but knew that my son had one big problem tooth that would need to be taken care of. From the very beginning, things were awful. My kids' hands were BLACK from playing with the DIRTY toys in the front lobby. The receptionists weren't friendly and the dentist himself is so cold and impersonal. I feel terrible writing such a bad review but I have to let others know. Once my son was back in the exam room, everything seemed like it was ALL about money and how quickly they could get us in and out of there. No one cared to make sure that my four-year-old had a pleasant experience for his first dental visit. I even found out from my mother-in-law later (who was by my son's side at the time while I was dealing with my toddler) that the dentist told my son "we can either do this the easy way, or MY WAY!" Who the heck says that to an already nervous preschooler on their first dental visit!? After charging us around $300 for a POINTLESS visit, I left crying from such an awful experience. To start off, I would like to give praise to Anthem ortho department, the dentist and staff including the administrative is nothing short of absolutely kind and amazing. I however did NOT have a great experience otherwise. This is a very shady and unprofessional office. I have been assisting in pediatric dentistry for 7 years and absolutely love it. This was the WORST office I've EVER encountered. If I could give less then one star I would. I did not do one but TWO working interviews here. The interviews went wonderful! I loved it and was so excited to get started here. MANAGEMENT had asked me when I could start and when I could put in my two weeks AND went over benefits insinuating that I got the job and that they were interested. On their listing on indeed they had given a price range and when I asked for the price range given, I was told I was asking for too much. I know for a fact you can choose the price range you want so they were FALSE advertising. I would have been willing to take my price down had they said they couldn't offer what I asked but could offer me "blank" but instead I got texted (not even called) that they filled the position after I ALREADY gave my work my 2 week notice. Granted I had waited several days to hear back and I had been told if I had questions I could text Jerlyn and when I texted her AND tried to call she never responded or got back to me until she retracted the offer. I then went in to grab my working interview check and asked the other manager what happened, she had no clue and informed me Jerlyn had lied and that they did NOT infact hire anyone else. I told her if it was only pay, I was willing to compensate and she said she would give me a call back. I called 3 times asking for answers because they put me in a bad position already quitting my job for them and they NEVER even had the decency to call me and give me the news. They did not even have the hiring manager contact me. They ONCE AGAIN unprofessionally texted me saying they hired an old employee which is a lie because their ad is STILL on indeed and active. They NEVER had the GUTS to even speak with me on the phone. They would always just send me texts after business hours. Anyways. I do not recommend this highly unorganized practice unless its for ortho purposes. read more

The doctor that was SUPPOSED to do my sons surgery yelled at my 3 year old son for drinking water after he had him fast for 13 + hours. We checked in at 9:15am and they had my son wait until almost 11am to get his medication to sedate him. He then yelled "HE IS DRINKING WATER" when my son took a drink of my water. I didnt know he took a sip but that doctor had ALL HIS NERVE to speak to my child in that manor. And he wouldn't even GIVE ME enough respect to speak to and apologize on his behalf. Ummmm not sure what to say about what to say about this place or where to start Diana was very rude and far from professional. Feel like this place only wants to charge your insurance to the max. My nephew that is 4 years old we toke him in for his first check up and he wouldn't sit still for his X-rays so they came out blurry so they said they never showed me his X-rays but the dr comes in and takes a look in his mouth and says I want to crown all his teeth. REALLY!!! Then I asked how can you tell if you are only looked didn't even exam each tooth or at least both sides come on. When I asked how can you tell that you need to crown all of his teeth ? Dr replied by looking at them I said what about the X-ray they said well once he is in the surgery room we can do a thorough exam when he is sedated. After working here for two years I will never trust a dental practice again. Dont let friendly faces and fake smiles fool you for the sake of your children and insurance. The assistants know more than the Dr on Wednesdays. A Dr should not get distracted by the cartoons on the tv while doing treatment or blank out while talking to parents or cut a childs lip with dental instruments while the child is SLEEPING. But other than all that if u ever do unfortunately end up at this place Dr. Shroff is your only hope. He wont grab & make your kids do things they dont want to. He will take the time to sit and talk to you without leaving it all to the assistant to "sell" his treatment & he has actual common sense (something you'd expect every doctor to have, youd be surprised.) I love this office! The office is kid friendly, they have I-pads for the kids to play with and they have movies playing to distract the kids. The front office was very helpful in scheduling my children's future appointments, and the assistants are very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this office to my friends.
