I booked my appointment nearly a month out. When we got to the appointment I was told that they couldn't take us because I needed a referral. The receptionist said she had left a message the day before telling me this. I did not get that message - but even if I had, how was I supposed to get a referral the day before with my daughter in school? There had been plenty of time to check this to give me the opportunity to get one. I called my insurance and they said they hadn't changed their protocol and if a referral was needed that information would have been available to the provider when they checked my insurance when I made the appointment. So my daughter missed school and I lost my morning for nothing.

Then I met Courtney the dental asst and she was wonderful. She got me some water to relax and talked me through the entire appointment and was mindful of my TMJ which really helped me stay calm. I had Dr St. Laurent, I have health issues and he was so easy to talk to and was great about trying different things with my teeth to see what will work best for my situation. I received 2 fillings and he didn't even have to numb anything because he was that good! (I hate the numbing stuff so this was beyond a bonus for me!!)
