    READ THIS BEFORE CONSIDERING ANTHEM PEST CONTROL!!! I've had multiple terrible experiences with Anthem Pest Control and hope this helps at least one person make an educated decision on their pest control services. Red Flag #1: The salesman, Nathan, was overly aggressive. Despite telling him I was in a meeting, he insisted on staying at my door and even invited himself into my home when I said my dogs weren't friendly as he was "good with dogs" (in his own words). He took my phone and emailed my previous pest control company to cancel my services without my full understanding of the situation and prior to any decisions having come to a conclusion. My mom and I both tried multiple times to get him to leave, but he would not take the hit and insisted on discussing his pregnant wife, their new home, and their new furniture. Red Flag #2: After a routine spray service, in which the technician left my floors and baseboards completely drenched in spray (see photos) I had a severe allergic reaction, breaking out in horribly painful hives. I called 4-5 times in October to ask for the ingredients in the spray (per my allergists recommendation - this would allow us to make an educated decision on what caused the hives) and to speak to a manager, but never received a callback. I only heard from them once in November, but missed the call and as I didn't know it was from Anthem. They did not leave a voicemail, or follow up at any point to indicate that he was calling with Anthem. The only reason I know he attempted to reach me was because I was able to reach the manager at the end of November and informed me that he attempted to call and that there were no notes on my file showing I had requested a call back in October - shows how much this company cares about their customers, right? Red Flag #3: I gave them one more chance in December after speaking with the branch manager, and not only did they send the same technician who drenched my floors - the same one I asked specifically that they don't send - but they new technician they sent then proceeded to soak my cabinets with spray. I had to wipe it all off immediately in hopes it wouldn't stain my cabinets or damage the wood. Red Flag #4: I paid for a full year of service upfront and requested a refund in October to switch to another company. It's now January, and I still haven't received my refund. The branch manager, David (the only person I have been able to get a hold of in 3+ months), has stopped responding to my calls and texts for an update, and the company leaves you on hold for over 30 minutes when you ask to speak to a manager, my guess is hoping that you will give up. Please avoid Anthem Pest Control at all costs. They don't care about their customers, your time, your home, or your health. It is quite obvious that you are just a cash cow to them - unlike what they portray online.

    they are horrible. they bug you for payment through text, calls and any which way they can, whether you are the debtor or not.

Over the series of experiences I've had, it was strangely somewhere in the middle. The positive side was that they were incredibly responsive. The customer service is on point and the attitude of their management is definitely a class act. I have no doubt this is a major driver for their most positive reviews and deservedly so. The part where I struggle is the mixed experiences from the various technicians that had come to one of my properties that had an ant, cockroach, and spider problem. The initial $160 was a bit higher than I expected, but a small price that I was willing to pay to rid the property of creepy crawlers. Jason and Servando (sp) extremely brief in their initial run of the place. Even after their treatment, I still saw plenty of spider action where it was clear were not that thorough. After explaining my situation to their staff, they assigned the manager at the time, Daniel, to come back and apply treatment the way he intended. He went nuclear with a whole host of sprays and was extremely thorough both inside and out. His work made a world of difference and there was very little bug activity for close to a year. He was thorough in his explanaition and super transparent with his approach. If every experience was this thorough I think I'd be more receptive to future service. He has unfortunately left the company. Typically they recommend treatment 3 to 4 months. The subsequent visits after my initial concerns were not charged, which I'm thankful for but should not have taken that many times just to get the desired result. It was close to $250 for carpet ant treatment, which felt out of my budget but was assured that the chemicals would be different than the standard ones used for treatment. I was presented with a 30 and 60-day warranty which is fine but not something I elected to go for this past time around. While I'm sure they've done stellar work for other households and other properties, I do wish that I was able to experience the same magic on a consistent basis.

From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly thorough. I reached out with concerns about wasps potentially nesting in my walls, and he took my worries seriously from the moment he arrived. He treated the house and conducted a thorough inspection of the interior and exterior. He took the extra time to educate me on the different types of wasps, what to look for, and practical steps I could take to further protect my home. I genuinely learned something, and that kind of education goes a long way. He has a very pleasant disposition and a great sense of humor, which I needed at a time when I was feeling particularly anxious about the presence of unwanted visitors in or around my home.     Pam and Armando came today and sanitized our laundry room . They pulled the washer and dryer out…read moreand thoroughly cleaned and sanitized the area that was invaded by rats . They did an excellent job! Pam had come alone previously and tried to do this job by herself but really needed an additional hand moving the washer and dryer. Armando had also come previously to help set traps and seal weep holes . Both of these technicians and the other team member , Ian, did an exceptional job helping get rid of the rats! We are very happy with the service we received from all of them !! Highly recommend them and Biotech!!

    I called them to remove a critter that was living in my attic/wall. They arrived with really fancy…read morerodent van. It looked like a Ghostbusters level vehicle. He found the source of the entry, got on a ladder and took a picture. His solution: wait til I don't hear it anymore and call them back and they can seal it up. Seriously? Paid 59$ for this - for nothing. I called wildescapes. Matthew said "I'm gonna come put a one-way trap up there, seal all but the trap and I'm gonna do it right now" The squirrel was gone by the afternoon. I will say biotech called me back an hour after their tech was out here. Office person asked if I would like them to come put a one-way trap on the vent? You know what??? that would've been an excellent suggestion for the tech to make while he's sitting here talking to me and STARING AT MY HOUSE but it's too late now. She said they could send a more experience technician. Then why did you send that one to begin with? Don't waste your money- call Matthew.
