1-Star Review I've been a loyal customer of this company for nearly two years and never had a rude interaction--until today. I did not schedule my quarterly service due to illness and being directly impacted by the government shutdown. Three days ago, my card was charged without my authorization, and I later found a note on my door saying they completed the outdoor service. When I called for clarification, the representative was immediately defensive and dismissive. She repeatedly hid behind "it's in your contract" but couldn't actually answer the questions I asked. According to her, if I don't schedule or answer the phone, they will come out anyway--meaning they'll take their payment regardless of whether my family is affected by the shutdown or dealing with medical issues. To enforce a contract so rigidly while the entire country is facing hardship feels ruthless, unethical, and completely lacking compassion. I will be speaking with a manager, but based on this experience, my trust in this company has been severely damaged. Customers deserve understanding--not condescension and automatic charges. We had a very bad experience with this company. We called them for setting trap for raccoons we have in our backyard. They came the first time to set up the trap and told us they would return to retrieve the raccoon, if trapped. So we paid them $189 for this service. My husband was never told that additional fee ($65) would be collected for them to come back to retrieve the animal. The lady in the office claimed that was a misunderstanding. We would say this is a misleading or scam to customer. When we didn't agree to pay $65 for them to remove the raccoon, the tech said he would release the raccoon in our backyard!!!! After arguing with the tech and the lady in the office, he agreed to take the animal with him. We recommend not to use this company. If you are desperate to use them; make sure they spell out all the policies (fees, follow-up, warranty period, etc.) In writing. read more

Unfortunately, my most recent interaction with Kristie, the office manager, was extremely disappointing. When I had a question about a payment, she told me she was the only one who could approve it and dismissed my concern completely. Despite my decade of loyalty, she made it clear that my service history didn't matter--and even suggested we were no longer a "good fit" simply because I questioned her actions. Customer service matters, and sadly, this company has lost sight of that. After 10 years, I expected respect and professionalism, but instead I was met with rudeness and disregard. I called and spoke with their "President" who promised me he would review my file and be back in touch but I never received any further communication. People are extremely rude and confrontational. As other have said, customer service is very poor. Their phone system keeps spam calling you endlessly and if you pick up you get put in line so you can't speak with anyone. They include a online scheduling link in their e-mail messages, yet there is no online scheduling. They do not reply to e-mails. Techs show up unannounced for service visits, and if I tell them I am at work and it's not a good time they get passive aggressive and rude. One tech said he "was never coming back here" because I kindly told him now is not a good time as he showed up unannounced and unscheduled. That's fine, you don't have to come back. I'm taking my business elsewhere. If you offer no way to easily schedule an appointment, please don't blame it on your customer. Don't be defensive and rude. Don't go argue. Apologize, make sure it never happens again, and schedule the appointment once you talk to them. And maybe have an online scheduling system. read more

If I can give ZERO stars I would. I called to book our FIRST initial visit and added on a flea prevention since we have a dog and when I was told I couldn't be in my home while the technician came in, I wanted to first consult with my husband as we don't have strangers just walking all over the house without us. I was told my file would be held until I call back. And within a few minutes my husband responded that we are ok to proceed, I spoke with someone else who was more bubbly. I believe it was Misty. She assured jme she would pass along my consent to the other representative who was working with me (Samantha) and we will be good to go next week. 5 hours later I don't receive any emails with how to prep or about my appointment so I call and speak with Samantha who rudely says she shredded my information when she didn't hear back. What?! I DID call back! She said we would have to go through the process again and then kept saying "well you said you would call back after talking to your husband." I again told her I did call back and she said "well, what do you wanna do?" I asked to speak with a manager and she said "she was busy." When I asked to be sent to her voicemail, she said "she doesn't have one". I get a call from Nikki . She apologizes and then repeats what Samantha was saying. I told her this is all too much and that they need to have better communication. So then she says "ok let me see if my manager is available...". Been on hold 15 min now. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. UPDATE: manager just called and said Misty called out to the other representatives and maybe Nikki didn't hear her when she asked who helped me and that's why Nikki shredded my information. Then says someone in the office had a stroke and they are short handed and blah blah. So unprofessional! Then said she saw my review. Lol read more

I contacted them to treat my lawn for moles. They sprayed castor oil in and I saw limited improvement, then I began to see more damage move across my yard. They came a treated a second time. Still have damage, and evidence of moles tunneling after two treatments and spending 575.oo!!! Do not use them for mole treatment. This retired teacher is very disappointed in this treatment and lack of success. read more

Unfortunately, I cannot give this company more than 1 star. We are new customers and our initial service was scheduled for today (7/18). Once Paul, our technician arrived, the price to refill our In2Care mosquito pots and to complete bug and insect extermination changed. The price increased from the rate quoted over the phone without explanation. Paul our technician apologized and offered to contact the office to clear up the discrepancy. Misty answered and she was also apologetic and understanding. Misty escalated the call to Christy, the Office Manager and the tone of our call abruptly changed. Instead of offering solutions or offering a discount due to misquoted services, Christy was flippant and condescending to my husband. It seems she couldn't be bothered to entertain our questions as new customers. She kept trying to abruptly end the call. She rudely attempted to explain the additional charges were tax and replied to my husband, "I don't know if you're new to Texas but we charge taxes." My husband stated that he understood but the rates were quoted as if they were with tax and fees included. She then replied, "Well, if you understand then we don't have anything else to talk about." I'm not sure she was aware but she was on speakerphone. Paul, our technician seemed embarrassed and apologized for how rudely we were spoken to. Shortly thereafter, I called back and requested for Misty to have someone contact us about the disrespectful call with Christy. Within 15 minutes, I received a return call from Lisa Bailey, Operations Manager. Lisa apologized for the confusion and actually spoke to me like a human being. She was much more professional and compassionate. I appreciate the responsiveness, hence the 1 star, but I cannot in good conscience give this company our hard earned money. ****Also noticed several other Yelp reviews with similar issues with poor customer service and being rude. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. Our subdivision Camellia has hired Cypress Creek Pest Control to do mosquito spraying in our community 1-2 times a week. I wish I could give them a 0 if possible. They never spray our section of the community. This problem has been there since the very first time they were contracted. I have called them over 30-40 times in the past year or so to get this problem resolved, and they still can't. They never show up. They are rude and unprofessional. Owner of this company never wants to speak. They tell me that they will generate map results and speak to the driver however they never do. Never return phone calls. At the end of everything, when they don't know how to apologize and fix the problem, they say we refuse to speak to you because you are not from the HOA. Great job Cypress Creek Pest Control! HOA has reached out to them several times to spray our section, but I've never seen the truck before. This company has to be the worst ever existed. Shameful that they're running a business. Please don't hire them. Commercial or residential. It's 2021. There are numerous companies out there. Give your money to someone that deserves it. Customer service is poor. Tech came out and did a half ass job with minimum coverage. Within 20 days we were already seeing the pest again. Called back to get help with the issue as they offer a "30 day guarantee." Was told the package I paid for doesn't cover my issues and I get what I paid for. Before signing up, I stated my pest concerns wanting coverage on those things. Very frustrating. When deciding to cancel service with them, I was hung up on by Lisa before confirming my account had been canceled. Would not recommend this company! read more

I have been using them for 6 years - and love that they remind me of when they need to come. I've never had a customer service issue with them. Had a spider infestation when I bought a foreclosed house - and haven't had a bug issue since. Several technicians have come to the place, and I've never had an issue with any of them. Yes- sometimes their automatic caller can be annoying - but all you have to do is call them back and say that you're not ready for treatment yet, and it's either flagged for a later date or removed. read more

We have used ccpc for a very long time. When our house flooded that were understanding and kept our contract until we could get back into house. Most of the techs are very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. My last tech was super thorough and gave good advice for our situation. The office staff is great about calling with reminders and being quick to find appointment times that are flexible and work for the customers schedule. Highly recommend them. read more

I have been a consistent customer for several years. Recently the customer service has gone downhill. The automated service calls are not helpful, the recorded message calls you throughout the day simply to tell you to call them and schedule. Seems like if the company wanted consistent customers they would make an effort to schedule your service. I would recommend an online service tool if you don't want to make the calls personally. I would greatly appreciate this over a rude customer service agent that I had to deal with after I was asked to call and schedule my own service. Ridiculous process. We had our first negative experience with Cypress Creek Exterminators who we have used for many years. We used them in our first house in Canyon Gate and developed a relationship with Robert who always treated our house. In 2017 we moved and we were told we couldn't have Robert because he stays south of Tomball and we were now north of Tomball. We had to go thru several of the "new folks" and each time we got a different one. We finally developed a relationship with Kevin who we liked to the point we always would give him a tip. We called Cypress Creek and told them no more surprises and to always send us Kevin. That didn't happen and yesterday we got another person. We are not interested in having whoever they want to send out here walking thru the house. After he left we called and of course they had no record of the request for the same technician. We also found out that the rate does change once you move to a new resident. There isn't 100 sq feet of difference and Cypress Creek doesn't want to acknowledge we have been a "loyal customer" to them for close to 10 years. Loyalty only goes one way and that is customer to company; not the company to the customer. Moving along we will leave them since they no longer have our "program" that we previously had. Go figure... Lots of exterminators in the area and we too will not be loyal and will call another company when we need the next quarterly service.... read more

Unfortunately, I feel like I paid them for a service that was not delivered. I had issues with wasps in my backyard. I scheduled an appointment and the technician came out and shared lots of information as well as treatment options. After spraying the tech advised that he would note the ticket with his actions and recommendations. He then told me the call the office for a price on the recommended additional treatment. Well, the wasps are still here and when I called the office they said they did not provide the service that the technician offered. Additionally, I was informed that they do not provide guarantees for flying insects. Interestly this "no gaurantee" on flying insects was not emphasized when I made the initial call for wasp treatment. Also, the technician advised of the additional treatment option, but now I am told he misspoke. Well, I call BS. No worries...it won't happen again. No return service and no recommendations from me. read more

The people who come to my house are always professional and friendly. However... the scheduling people are out of control!! They call 3 or 4 times A DAY. I have spoken to them that my schedule is always changing and I will call back when I know what day is good. Maybe two days go by and they start in again with the calls. TWICE in the past year ( i get quarterly) it has been raining and they SAY they will come back and they DID NOT. Today, we had a problem and the girl at the office would not let me speak when trying to explain the situation. She was very rude, I asked to speak to the manager and was put on hold several times. I called about the exterminator not spraying around the perimeter of my home. He never sprayed the garage. The girl at the office contacted him while he was here. Well...he went to the backyard and I can see him through our full glass door. He never sprayed our backyard after that call. He never walked on our back porch to spray. The front porch was never sprayed. When the exterminator got here, he had dirty boots on and gave me a hard time about putting boot covers on. The guy was very rude. Also, when I was speaking to the rude girl at the office that never let me finish a whole sentence without her interrupting. She said this service was on them but if I like for everything to be sprayed that it will be an extra charge!! Like since when did this happened?!? So that's a no for me! Very rude and of course they would give this at a no charge, because he was never spraying anything the entire time he was here! Prompt, courteous service! We gave Cypress Creek Pest Control a try at our home because my wife's company uses them at the commercial property that she manages. They are around 20% cheaper than our old residential pest control company. The work is warrantied and everyone from the operators that answer the phone to the techs that come out and spray are very friendly. I am extremely happy with them and I would definitely refer them for both residential and commercial pest control. read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! WILL NEVER USE AGAIN! Cy Creek Pest Control came out to my house on 6/12/15. I paid $208.79 to exterminate the inside of my house and spray my yard for mosquitos. They talked me into the $99.75 mosquito treatment when I made the original appointment. Robert was the technician. He was very nice and took his time. When he left he told me that there was a 21 day warranty. Not even two weeks later the mosquitos are awful. I called them back today and was told there is no warranty because of the light, heat and rain. Really?? When isnt' there light, heat and rain in Houston?!?! I was told if I signed up for treatment plan every 21 days then there would be a warranty. So basically it's a scam. They lie to you up front to get your business and then don't uphold their warranty unless you sign up for the 21 day program. Pathetic! UPDATE: Cy Creek Pest Control contacted me again after they saw my Yelp review to try and resolve the issue. The technician came back out to perform the mosquito treatment again. Unfortunately I still have mosquitoes all over my back patio. I see absolutely no difference so the $99.75 is down the drain. :( read more

Outstanding service! We had Bill at our house yesterday afternoon to spray the home and set some mouse "traps". He took his time to explain to us what he was doing and show us that the mouse traps were tamper proof and that our kids could not get into them. Our appointment was set for arrival between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. The office called about 2:00pm to say that Bill was on his way and would be there in about 30 minutes. Early is always better in my opinion! Way to go guys!! read more

They are okay with bugs but not with rodent control. They came out to my house to do exclusions and set traps. They checked the traps twice and were done. I still see new traces of rodents in my attic. I am keeping Cypress Creek for insect control (for now) and going with a company that specializes in rodent control for rodents. I don't want to pay Cypress Creek hundreds of dollars again, only to leave me with the same issue. read more

I had not purchased the house new and could not find the original receipts, until today. We had Terminex come out 3 years ago and they retreated and have come out yearly since then. This was our first time calling a pest control service. We asked around on our local NEXTDOOR app. for recommendations and feedback and reviews. We then called several pest control companies in the area for quotes and general information about the service each one provides. We made our decision based on the following criteria. #1 - Did I feel well informed about the information provided by the person answering the phone? #2 - Did the person on the phone sound well informed and happy to answer my questions? #3 - Was the pricing comparable to other establishments in the area? #4 - Do they have established history in the area? The answer to all those question was yes, thus why we chose CCPC. Our service call also went very well as our service technician was on time and very friendly. He went above and beyond what I was expecting for pest control as I was unaware the attic was part of the package. I will be using your service again as I felt comfortable with the work and the resulting "evidence" of success that popped up a few days later and of course the lack of evidence now. For the past couple of months, they have been robocalling me at least twice per week to schedule my next appointment, and I have not been able to get them to stop the calls. Cypress creek pest control talks up the service to get you hooked. After the first service though, you'll get a basic treatment nowhere worth the price. I was told I'd get a better service with their "premium" plan but now that I'm on my 2nd service all of a sudden that plan only gets you a warranty for more bugs. Same treatment, but now a warranty despite the chemicals or quality of service not changing. Talk about a rip off. They also claimed that sprayed my wasp nest but there's about 5 wasps happily flying around it still. My doorbell video shows they did a couple sprays around my door and that's it. Save yourself some trouble and some expense. Avoid them. I'll be filling a BBB report for false claims! read more

Overall the bug control is great. We are pleased with our quarterly service. Customer service is wanting. We've had multiple incidents with seemingly untrained staff - including inappropriate questions on the phone about a family member's death and leaving our gate open allowing the dogs to escape AFTER letting the tech know to make sure to close it. The last two houses we've lived in were rental houses, and suffice to say, the landlords did nothing on pest control other than kill the problem long enough for us to not notice until we moved in. Both places were infested with fire ants, sugar ants, mosquitoes and other tiny pests. At the last place, the fire ants were throughout the house, even though there were no mounds outside. Each time I went out and got the best stuff the Big Box stores had to offer, but it was nothing but a temporary fix. Then we would call Cypress Creek, and they would fix the problem. They treated inside, outside, in attics and crawl spaces. They knew what to use and how much. I now save myself a ton of anxiety and hassle by just having them out quarterly.
