The technician, Dustin, thoughtfully called to let us know he was running a few minutes late, and he arrived exactly when predicted. He did a thorough inspection and magically got the oven working as it should again, without having to replace any parts. If he had been a less scrupulous and responsible professional, he could have charged us to replace a part unnecessarily. Instead, he left his contact info so we could let him know if the problem returned, with the plan to order the part then, and only then. Even though it was the end of the business day, he stayed longer to be sure the oven maintained its temperature correctly. Throughout, he was friendly and professional, a pleasure to work with. Although the business is located in Bloomington, they do calls in the Champaign-Urbana area for no extra charge. This changed in March, I needed some plumbing work done by a certain date. I called a week ahead of time and told them I needed it done before the next Thursday. John was scheduled to come out on Tuesday. He called Tuesday morning and said he needed to reschedule until Thursday. I told him I absolutely had to have it done Thursday. I called again on Wednesday to say again I had to have the work done on Thursday. John called Thursday morning saying he needed to put the job off until the next Tuesday. I must admit I was quite indignant with him. I called someone else who said they could come. I called the office to cancel. When the office called John, he told them he was on his way. He was here 2 hours and billed me for 4. The next time I went down in the crawl space, I noticed he had kicked all my ductwork loose. Maybe it was just a bad week for the guy, but I would never, ever call them again.

Then when the warranty runs out they won't return your calls. You're better off paying less at the big box stores where warranty matters and calls are returned. I get another follow up email that he needs my address and phone # texted to some number. I respond to the email with the information and state that he already has that informaton from when I booked the appointment online.
