We do acupuncture first. She does an in-depth analysis without too much judgment of my personal eating habits (ha, ha), followed by amazing needle procedures that are rarely all the same spots (which means she is not doing it mechanically). I can't say how effective the treatment is to health issues, but it never fails to turn me into jello and ready for a long massage. Many times I doze off, it makes me that relaxed. There has never been any pain with the needles. If you have never had Thai massage, you don't know what you are missing. I have had all kinds of massages at some of the world's top spas and resorts, and Thai is absolutely my favorite type. I was so lucky to meet Josie shortly after she returned to this area where she grew up and to find out she does Thai was fantastic news.(You are fully clothed and the therapist works his or her butt off moving you, stretching you, and flexing you. It is like passive yoga.) Josie, although petite, is in great shape and in tune with Spirit. Such a sweet soul. Also she is cheap! I've told her several times she needs to raise her prices. Periodically I will have her mix up some herbs for me. I never had Chinese herbs before meeting her. She has quite a collection of bottles of leaves and powders at the store. I get a kick out of brewing them up at home. She also sells herbs in pill form. Her place is clean and peaceful. And to the other reviewer who stated she doesn't return calls, that has never been my experience and is not in keeping with her personality. Countless times she has returned my calls and texts immediately, and has taken the initiative to text me on weekends to see how the treatments are working! Maybe this reviewer has the wrong number? I went back a week later and they didn't know why this was occurring and did another adjustment. The noise remained there so I didn't return and canceled my membership. I was frustrated about my situation and not getting resolution. Dr. Ryan, the owner contacted me and explained the noise happens sometimes from breaking up scar tissue and offered me to finish my adjustments for the rest of the month free of charge.
