***Wait, Stop, Don't go to Anthony!!*** Anthony Pazos lied to me and cheated me out of hundreds of dollars. I recently got my hair extensions done by Anthony, and my experience went a little something like this: 1. I wanted to go with Anthony to purchase the hair and he was suspiciously against it: Anthony claimed the hair he was using was 100% virgin Indian hair- this was untrue- the hair was pre-dyed caramel and was 22" long-- Virgin hair is not color treated and rarely comes that long. 2. I got Micro-Link extensions: Anthony applied the Micro-Links to the top of my head and all over the sides so that I could not run my hands through the from or even the sides of my hair. He applied the extensions too tightly and the stuck out at a 90 degree angel and were extremely visible is the slightest wind blew. 3. I sent a simple picture of what I wanted the results to look like simple dark-to-caramel ombre- The results weren't even close. **4. I had to pay an additional $500 at a different salon to have he extensions removed and readjusted to my head. 4. After literally the first wash, the extensions looked like garbage- the hair became extremely dry, matted and very tangled- after the first wash- I kid you not! Even more unfortunate, the hair was impossible to flat iron smooth! I literally had to curl my hair every day for it to look even half way decent. Note: I get the Keratin treatment, so my natural hair is silky, shiny and healthy- I use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and use a keratin leave-in. I am a product snob so I knew it wasn't anything I was doing and I had extensions before. 5. When I complained about this to Anthony, he became very defensive: I asked him how much the extensions cost him and he said "like, $4-500" If he purchased premium extensions and wasn't lying, he would have know exactly how much they cost. Furthermore, if the extensions actually cost $4-500 I wouldn't have complained after a week about them shedding and tangling. This guy is a con-artist- don't go to him. After a month-and-a-half of my $1500 hair extensions (not including the cost for color, cut, or Keratin) I simply had to remove them and throw them away. read more

Overall Conclusion: No receptionist to check in with. Service was good, Cely is very down to earth & was focused on doing my hair, taking great care to provide a fab result! Some miscommunications. The suit is very well kept; clean & inviting. DETAILS: Anthony Pazos Salon in located in Salon Republic suite #39. My appointment was set for 10:30am, I arrived at 10:20 but there was no receptionist to check me in or direct me, but this is not Anthony Pazos Salon's direct responsibility since there are many suites shared in the building. I knocked on the door of Anthony Pazos Salon, to which there was no answer, & no lights on, so I sat & waited. Cely was a few minutes late but greeted me promptly & let me in to a very clean & inviting white room with a simple lovely decor. Although I had mentioned prior in an E-mail when booking the appointment what I was looking for Cely was not aware & I tried to show her pictures & explain to her what I was seeking. Even then I felt that what I truly wanted could not be practically done, so I took her suggestion. Getting to this decision seemed very time consuming, but once the gears started grinding Cely was a pro. Very organized, she knew exactly what she was doing & at that point I felt trusting & at ease. Over half-way through the process, another woman came in who seemed busy. I asked if she also worked there, & was told she shared the suite to do eyelash extensions. This other stylist had a conflicting appointment at 1pm, which Cely didn't seem aware of, & told the other stylist she would need more time to finish with me. The other stylist & her client waited outside chatting while Cely finished blow drying my hair. Despite this conflict, Cely continued to put all of her attention to finishing up nicely. She didn't seem to look rushed or stressed, which I was VERY impressed about after about 2 hours already working with me. When I asked Cely to take some "after" pictures the other stylist came in & told her she'd have to start with her client because they had been "waiting long enough." Of course I felt bad that they were waiting on us to finish, & I was happy my appointment quality wasn't compromised because of it, but this probably could have been avoided with better communication between stylists &/or receptionists/appointment bookers. My finished look was polished, toned up, & a quick trim helped the ends look instantly healthier. However when my partner saw me, he didn't notice anything much different about my hair, which verified that it wasn't as bold as I was hoping the end result would be. Cely told me that it may lighten up within a few days, & after dying my hair for much of my life, I know the true result will be in a few days to a week from now. Over all the experience was pleasant, & I would recommend Cely & her awesome calm persona to anyone who wants someone they can trust doing their hair. read more

I am absolutely in LOVE with how my hair looks! I went to Anthony without really knowing what I wanted to get done. He was patient with me and recommended a fuschia balayage. He and his assistant Cely were so professional and worked very well together. They both made me feel super comfortable. Anthony was very sweet and energetic throughout the whole process. I went from pretty much natural color to a reddish pink. My hair went through a full bleaching and then had color added. Unfortunately I am pretty sure a good chunk of my hair will have to be cut off further. I have had blonde hair before but never have I felt so much damage in it. I had a hair mask in for over 6 hours and I switch to deep conditioning products but sadly nothing has been helping. The color looks great though. read more
