May 9, 2026 ~ I stand by my initial review of Jackie Beylerian, a wonderful, professional, knowledgeable and talented stylist. However, lately, the salon has deteriorated. There is hair color smeared on the already dingy and dirty walls, water stains where rain has leaked through the ceiling, lights that are still out due to the water leaks through the ceilings. One of the sinks where hair washing takes place is broken, non-functional and two of the hair heaters are broken as well, leaving the salon with only one heater. When Owners are invested in their business, they invest their money to maintain a clean, visually pleasing environment where the equipment works. Investing in the environment says that the Owners care about their customers and they care about how the environment reflects on themselves. Clearly, the business Owners do not care. Don't start me on the bathrooms where I have encountered instances of no toilet paper, paper towels and toilets that are less than clean. DO BETTER COLORI. read more

I used to drive by Colori Salon on a regular basis since I do not live far away. Funny how I ended up going there only to follow my hairstylist when she started working there. Anita is great. I highly recommend her. She really listens to you and she does exactly what you ask for. She is very sweet and professional. I usually get a Brazilian blowout and a haircut. This salon is clean and spacious, and nicely decorated, equipped with all the latest products and technology. I've been going to Colori salon for the past few years to get my hair done by Shane V. He is not only a fabulous stylist, he is a calming, kind, intelligent, and witty professional. He also solely focuses his attention on one client at a time, which I truly appreciate. He's always on time and prompt...can't say this about many stylists. I am of mixed-race and Shane is able to effortlessly do an amazing job blowing out my curly hair to get it smooth and straight. One of the best things about 2020 (besides surviving it) started at a Ralph's supermarket. I complimented a striking woman on her punkish haircut, which was an amazing shade of teal. I told her my hair was never dyed a non-traditional color, but if it was, I'd go with purple. She told me she was a colorist/stylist, and that I could try a few small streaks, and see how I liked it. On my first visit to Colori Salon, Jeanette Truffe gave me three purple streaks, along with a great cut. The purple was fun while it lasted, but it was just a one-time thing. Today was my fourth visit to Colori, and Jeanette gave me a beautiful bob, to match my flapper girl alter-ego. A great cut can do wonders for one's confidence, and I'm already so much happier. Disaster with Christopher. The color is all wrong. Being proactive and doing my due diligence i scheduled a 30 minute consultation with Christopher to discuss my wants and needs and we decided on one of two cool color options in the cendre/ash/matte columns of the Schwarzkopf vibrance swatch book. I even watched a YouTube video of Schwarzkopf experts using those colors which confirmed that is exactly what i wanted. Then a week later i came in for my color appointment and for some unknown reason Christopher said we are going to do 7-00 which we never discussed and i never saw a swatch. I didn't know at that time that color is in the natural extra category which is not what i wanted or discussed. My fault for trusting him and not requiring to see the swatch. His fault for deviating from our original plan and not showing me the different color swatch of what he decided to do and get my approval before applying. Why he changed to 7-00 color remains a mystery to me. Why have a consult to choose a color if the colorist is going to do their own thing with a different color anyway? As a customer i should've gotten what i wanted and agreed to not what he wanted. Texting with him afterwards regarding my dissatisfaction resulted in a disjointed stream of inconsistent thoughts and excuses that never addressed responsibility for changing from the previously agreed upon cool color family that we initially discussed so i have no confidence in working with him to try and correct his mistake. I'll take that on somewhere else. Oh well. Live and learn. read more

I am so grateful to Mario Estrada. I have been going to him for many years for my color. He really is a master at what he does and I always get many compliments. Given the current situation and not being able to go to the salon I wanted to touch up my roots but I've never done a box color in my life and Mario helped me out. He went out of his way to make a special package for me containing the color he uses at the salon, a special treatment to condition my hair, bowl, gloves and brush, and instructions. He encouraged me to call him while I was coloring my hair if I needed any guidance. I am so pleased with the results and so thankful to him for his help. So this review is for Mario Estrada. I desperately needed to take off my blotchy brown hair color that I had done a month ago in another salon. My hair looked pretty depressing and was hard to manage. Luckily I found Mario on Instagram. I looked at his work and I saw that he worked with a lot of women with thick hair. I really liked that. So I reached out to Mario and he immediately responded. He gave me his number and a price quote over the phone based on what I wanted. I agreed and he took me in on a Monday which was his day off. I didn't realize that they closed on Mondays but it worked out since I'm exclusively breastfeeding and I brought my baby with me. He was so sweet with me and my baby. He talked to me about his cute little baby nephew and I felt more at ease. He made me feel comfortable and took his time on my hair. I went in for a bayalage. I needed something low maintenance since I live in Valencia and have a baby so I can't really come in frequently. He lighten my hair, took all the yucky brown out, and gave me an amazing cut. I couldn't believe how great my hair looked. I was even expecting to come in a second time but he got it right on the first try.
