Some Pizza and wings for a night out with some awesome friends. Simple and good. We enjoyed our late night dinner. Service was good.

Sat at the bar, service sucked, more focused on doing side work to close up than checking on my Togo order that I ordered with her. Finally I went to the host stand got my own Togo items that had been sitting there. I ordered a ranch with the bartender, of course that was missing. Had to ask the hostess (hostess was a delight and very accommodating) for it. I had already been sitting at the bar for 15 minutes before someone even came up to greet. Food is great, but they obliviously don't have their front of house worked out. And if the bartender has somewhere to be on a Friday night maybe she shouldn't work that shift.

One always has a fantastic restaurant experience when getting together with dear friends whom you had the pleasure of knowing for close to three decades. Especially when they visit within an hour plus from you, yet you dread to drive through South Florida traffic to North Miami area. Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings in Delray Beach turned out to be the ideal half way point, with a menu that served well for both parties on that blazing Friday 4pm, June 7th, 2024. Could not have asked for a exceptional waiter in Adam who gave us the lowdown on the best outside seating area, well shaded from the brutal late afternoon sun. When its time to eat, where and how comfortably you sit is vital. And with the best seating you are able to enjoy two flavored yet strong Basil Limone Gin & Tonic specialty cocktail (Aviation Gin, Limoncello, Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic, Lemon Juice, Basil). The beverage menu is easy on the eye and not overwhelming, with 10 specialty cocktails to chose from along with 8 bottled beer selections, 5 draft selections, 2 sangria selections, 9 red wine selections and 8 rose/white wine selections, at participating locations. The food menu was equally compact, going over it once to make an informed choice of dish. From Coal Fired starters we naturally chose their 10 piece signature roasted chicken wings (original flavor with savory caramelized onions) and large (enough for the four of us) Broccoli Rabe & Sausage, richly smothered in garlic and olive oil, as seen below in the attached photos! The accompanying focaccia bread dipped into the BRS, the bread, garlic and olive oil combo, is a flavor winner. The last time we met up was on a cold December 2022 evening in New York City. Now a year half later catching up in sunny Delray Beach, on wings, pasta and pizza. My friends were visiting North Miami area to scout for a tennis academy for their son, eventually settling for a reputable academy in Texas. In between. They compassionately inquired how my family and I were faring following the passing of my father in June 2023. The meaningful conversation gave us time to enjoy the starters and comfortably choose the entrees. Once again Adam was generously patient while we threw our suggestions at him. We ultimately ordered the Tuna Focaccia or Italian Tuna Salad Sandwich (tuna salad seasoned with lemon and olive oil made from Anthony's grandmother's recipe is piled between homemade focaccia bread and topped with tomatoes and arugula and drizzled with homemade Italian dressing), Fettuccine Alfredo (featuring fettuccine pasta tossed in a sauce made from butter, heavy cream, and grated Parmesan cheese) and from their coal fired pizza selection the small 12 inch Paulie's Pizza (flavor-filled pizza is topped with homemade baby meatballs, Italian sausage, hot or sweet peppers and ricotta cheese). And yes we we served Focaccia bread. Rest assured we ate and shared heartily. Depends on who asking or who is eating, we had a fabulous time at Anthony's. And yes their Pizza offerings are authentic and delicious. As of 2025 Anthony's was awarded (7.23.25) Newsweek Reader's Choice Best Pizza Chain in the United States. They have 50 locations in 6 states, with I believe, 18 locations in Florida. Whoever goes there, you will have to decide for yourself if that is so!

Anthony's is good for the picky eaters in my family. If you like blackened taste, then you'll like their pizza and wings because they are coal fired. Their pasta dishes are pretty simple. I enjoy their chicken Caesar. There's outdoor seating and plenty of parking, especially for a joint so close to the Ave.

We went for the Happy Hour! You can sit at any of the high tables or bar to get this deal. $5 chicken wings - get the original seasoning with onions. I think there were 5 per order. $5 meatballs - you get two per order. Delicious and amazing deal! We didn't order any pizza but we did sign up for the rewards program which gave us a free pizza so we're definitely coming back for that. You also get a free pizza during your birthday month on the rewards program! Free parking at the restaurant!

Lilan took care of us. The food was phenomenal, and her service was stellar. Started with the small eggplant appetizer which was to die for. And then had a meatball that came with a whipped ricotta on the side. The meatball was huge fresh, hot and delicious. The customers consisted of a lot of locals which tells you pretty much all you need to know about a restaurant First time here will be returning

We went here for my son's birthday. We ordered a big salad, wings- regular and honey glazed and a pizza 1/2 with meatballs and half with onions and prosciutto. We had very good service and it was a pleasant visit. I had major trouble with their app and the manager promised that he would call me to go over it today to make sure there was a work around. However, I never got a call. That's not good when you don't follow through what you tell the customer. Now I will need to do the legwork to find out how I can get my rewards for my meal . The parking is always tough in this lot so you may have to park in the street.

It used to be so good years ago. Now the pizza dough tasted like gas station pizza. The salad was the best part of the meal.

Very average and overpriced pizza. On top of that, 2/3 of time on takeout order it is black on the bottom (not edible).

I'm not a big fan of Chicago-style pizza, so I was never particularly tempted to stop. But after hearing some rumblings about their award-winning wings, I finally decided to pull over as I approached one evening... and I'm so glad I did. I wasn't expecting what I found when I walked in solo around 8:30 PM. A table of eight old-timers was finishing their meal and having a great time, a young couple sat at another table... all in this small room where time seems to stand still. As I looked around at the Chicago memorabilia, Wrigley references, wing awards, tons of old Illinois license plates... I was already hooked. I ordered their award-winning wings and, yes, they were very good (8.5). Of course, I also had to try some pizza, so I went with a small Thin Crust Chicago Pepperoni Pizza (8.0). It reminded me of a bar pizza, cut into small squares with plenty of good pepperoni. It's not my favorite style of pizza, but I have to admit... it was very tasty and surprisingly hard to stop eating. "Just one more... they're small." Since I'd ordered way too much food, most of it came home with me. Both the wings and pizza heated up beautifully the next day. Service from my waitress was fantastic... personable, friendly, and efficient. The two chefs working that evening also had a great attitude. Things quieted down after the large group left, but there was a steady stream of pickup orders from what were obviously regulars. There's clearly a loyal following here... and with good reason. Count me in. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We never got our water or sodas refilled, and the staff completely ignored every single request we made. They also totally skipped us for the welcome glass of champagne, even though we literally watched them hand it out to everyone else. The most infuriating part was the bread situation. They told us we could not have any because their "upstairs bread oven wasn't working", but we could clearly see them actively serving bread to the downstairs customers. Make it make sense! Also, multiple people in our group had upset stomachs after and could not even stomach the food and left feeling uneasy. They now believe they have food poisoning which is disappointing since we used to love this place! It was also too loud inside and we felt packed as sardines. When we finally expressed our extreme dissatisfaction to the manager, he just gave us a weak "sorry" and did absolutely nothing to make it right. The combination of meatball, pepperoni, sausage, and bacon made for an incredibly flavorful pie without losing what makes the pizza itself so good. One of my favorite things about Frank Pepe is the distinctive New Haven-style apizza crust. It's thin, crispy, chewy, and intentionally charred from the coal-fired oven, giving it that almost well-done appearance and a flavor all its own. It makes Frank Pepe a little different from the Neapolitan-style pizza places we usually frequent around the area. Excellent pizza with a style that really stands out. It's already a favorite of ours, and we'll definitely keep coming back.

DISAPPOINTING PIZZA…read more.. A 3am pizza parlor in a perfect trendy location near Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach. Bright red illuminated "Mama's Up All Night" name proudly affixed to the front exterior wall. Relaxed front patio table seating but mainly a grab & go custom pizza concept offering slices. A few little red tables inside hugging a massive chalk board with childish chalk drawings and words as a part of the simple ambiance. The front counter displayed several sicilian and NY style pizzas loaded with mouthwatering toppings. So far everything looked promising. The two female employees were friendly and one cut me a slice of cheese pizza and slid it into the stainless steel commercial double oven for a few minutes. Paid a premium price of $4.75 but the slice was oversized. At this point everything went south quickly. Out of my view, the wife took one bite of the pizza and gave me a strange look and told me to try it. Hesitated for a second, then chomped down on the front of the slice and instantly thought my taste buds were shot so took a second bite and told my wife it was completely tasteless with no crunch to the undercarriage either. My wife said it was horrible and sadly I agreed. Based on the first glance of the slice and the welcoming decor, I was anticipating a great slice of pizza. As a self-proclaimed pizza enthusiast with over one hundred pizza reviews, this was the first time I threw a slice of pizza into the garabge as the employees peered in confusion. Not even sure how a slice can have zero flavor, this was a first. I'm curious what brand of garlic, sauce and cheese were used to produce the bland effect. Wonderful spot for a late night drunken stuper with no concern for a tasty slice but honestly thats it - Buyer Beware. The gender neutral bathroom was open to customers only but had a sign posted that the toilet was broken which was only to deter drunks. The bathroom was basic with large tile flooring and partially painted walls.

Wow! Stumbled into this place just by patty and it did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection and piping hot! Extra bonus: fresh Parmesan was sprinkled on top before serving it. Delicious! Fast & friendly service and loved the decor! The chalk walls were so much fun!
