Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza is well known for their well done pizzas and roasted wings. I did an online order through their app which was quite easy. My order was supposed to be ready upon arrival yet it was not completely done as the hostess was busy setting up for the day and had not packaged it yet. As a togo order, I expected it to look presentable which it was eventhough the food did not stay hot for a 5 minute drive home for lunch. I also felt that the wings didn't seem like they were fresh cooked. I reheated the wings in my air fryer which was good and the wings were not dried out. My husband and I love this place. We frequently come on Friday nights for dinner. The food is always fantastic. We like to get their original wings. So yummy with all those onions. We also love their Chopped House - so much good stuff in that one. Of course, the pizza is also delicious. Our kids can eat two to three slices each. Service is always friendly and typically fast. I love their salad and wings! I always get the original without caramelized onions and blue cheese dip. I also get buffalo sauce on the side. I really love the coal fire flavor of the wings - and they are always very tasty and never dry. The prices are good for the wings. 5 Wings, Original, Blue Cheese, Extra Sauce and No Caramelized Onions is only $10.29. 10 wings are $17.49. My other favorite, Anthony's Classic Italian Salad, is $14.49. I get it with no onions or tomatoes and I LOVE the dressing. It is a mix of romaine lettuce, celery, garbanzo beans, kalamata olives and hard cooked egg tossed in their homemade Italian dressing. I'm good with an order of wings and sharing the salad. My boyfriend and I have been craving pizza lately and we wanted to try something different. We haven't had Anthony's in forever! We last had it in west palm and sometimes we forget it's down the street here. We ordered two pizzas; a cheese pizza and a white one. And oh my gosh was the white one phenomenal! I placed a large lunch order online, called the restaurant after placing the order, to ask for pizza to be double cut and to review the order. I picked up the pizza and asked the person who was packing it up to be sure there was ranch and blue cheese dressing and I was assured it was in one of the bags I returned to the office, found no dressings at all, pizza not double cut, and it was for a group meeting. I called to let the restaurant know and was told that I could drive back to get dressings and/or, the next time they would make sure it was included (?). I also received an apology. Well, another day and another lunch at another Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. Today I ordered the meatball sandwich and the Chopped salad. This is a part of their Pranzo pairing. You can order a soup/salad or a sandwich/salad or a soup/sandwich. They are all similarly priced. The meatball sandwich was really tasty. I like the bread a lot. The Chopped salad is great. We've loved this restaurant for years and last Saturday's experience was once again wonderful. The waitperson was great, bringing us extra napkins without having to ask and making sure we had everything we needed. I ordered a prosciutto and mushroom pizza and when we got home and took our first slice we realized that the cook had forgotten the sauce. It annoyed me because it isn't cheap. Our group sat at the Bar on Sunday for Happy Hour. As always, Anthony's doesn't disappoint. We enjoyed delicious Meatballs with Ricotta and of course, the Wings smothered with grilled onions. Both were Happy Hour specials along with beer and wine discounts. The bartender was very nice and the service was excellent. The salad has just the right amount of their signature Italian dressing. I always order it with the Gorgonzola which definitely enhances the taste. The small is big enough fir two to share. My go to pizza for two of us is a 12 inch topped with onions, sausage and mushrooms. This past visit didn't disappoint. The pizza was perfectly crunchy and loaded with toppings. Made me deathly ill. About 90 minutes after eating it, I had to pull over on the highway because I was nauseous. I threw up, and continued to do so all night long, with diarrhea. Zero sleep that night, and felt weak the next day. I ordered the cauliflower pizza on Monday January 23 at about 7:30pm, with added tomato sauce. It was delicious, and the service was EXCELLENT -- but something in the ingredients was bad. Not the way I intended my birthday pizza to be. Please do not offer any type of reward to make it better. I am not reporting this to profit, but just to hopefully make you step up your sanitation. At its prime , it was a well made establishment with a delicious take on a traditional past time food.... their wings and appetizers were unique and gave them balance for a family with different cravings That being said... It seems this place has suffered from its success .... Company was sold and whatever corporation that runs these places is looking into profits and margins more than quality and experience ..... A)slippery greasy floors with roaches being spotted and ignored B) unprofessional staff that laughs at said roaches instead of apologizing for looking unsanitary (actual response : "that's just how things are here ") I opted to throw away my food instead of risking food poisoning...not that it matched any of the quality of the Anthony's I used to know.... C) I had to wait for my refund for 5 days ... meaning I was stuck without the money I had for food (I'll live but it's the principle of not addressing peoples inconvenience due to their fault and quality) D) I was promised a follow up and they offered to send gift cards for the error but never did.... (People: I wouldn't have used those anyway but don't tell someone your gonna do something to mend a bad experience and then add insult to the injury by lying to my face... I tried communicating the issues at hand and it seems that my opinion or money was not important Well maybe not to them but I'm sure this will be useful for someone There is a million better pizza joints in the area... Anthony's is a go to for our family. It's a highlight of each visit to Florida for sure. Simple menu. Done well. Solid service. Great experience. I like the broccoli rabe and sausage as a side. You can add it to any of the pizzas and it tastes great, plus, eat your veggies! No meal is complete without wings. The crispy roasted wings are so tasty. I just always wish I'd get more onions. Those are like solid gold! On their own they're sweet and delicious, but I love adding them to slices of pizza! Can't come here without getting pizza. I mean, you could, but why? I had such a nice happy hour at this restaurant today. They actually changed the happy hour which is much better since all wine including happy hour wine and wine on the menu is 2 for 1. They also have food on happy hour which is pretty nice too! It ranges from about $5 to $8 for a cheese pizza, 5 piece wing (side chick), or 2 meatballs with Marinara. Everything is incredible! My friend and I usually order one of each appetizer on happy hour to share. Today we were not that hungry so we split the 2 meatballs in homemade Marinara sauce. It was incredible! (and it's a full liquor bar) It's not a huge place but they do have indoor and outdoor seating when weather permits. I went recently on a Thursday night. It was a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish and they were donating part of the proceeds to this charity. (They have a lot of charity events here....another thing I like about this place.). I've recommended it to family and friends and come in often with my husband and other family members.
