Poppy's is a small takeout restaurant that offers delivery within a certain vicinity. They are my go to for tuna subs. I've recently discovered their tuna salad and am in love. On Wednesdays they offer a special for the tuna salad which totals $12.50 with your choice of a coke or sprite canned soda. The salad consists of a mix of olives, tomatoes, red onion, sweet peppers, croutons, etc. I have paired it with the creamy Italian dressing but on my next try I plan to ask for their house dressing. I usually call in my order which takes between 15-20 minutes to prepare. If I could give this business a million stars I would. We found them on iPhone maps and this was best find for dinner. The cheese pizza was absolutely great and it's giving New York style pizza and I love it. The service was great but this is a jumping spot on Friday. It's a small spot clean and enough space inside for you to pay get your food and go lol. I also had mild chicken wings and it was delicious just like the pizza. A coworker introduced me to this place is not too far from my job in Sunrise. When we got there place small, and unique, you basically go in to order your food and then you take your food to go. This is not a dining experience, but they were very fast And the food was delicious. We had the chicken cutlet sandwich which came with the peppers, lettuce, olive oil, salt, pepper, so delicious and the chicken was tender and juicy. As far as the people working, they were a friendly as can be. As for what we had, we got an extra large pizza, half cheese, half pepperoni, double cut and a small pizza with mushrooms and no cheese. Both pizzas were great. We got chicken parmigiana sub and dinner. We also got twenty naked chicken wings, dry with hot sauce on the side. And an Italian sub. The chicken wings were as good as any I've had at a wings place. The chicken parmigiana sub. I like the cheese to be browned a bit, my daughter doesn't care. She didn't even leave crumb behind. I used to work for several pizzerias in the past in my younger years and used to roll and make the dough as well as the sauce and know good pizza . So when I tried their pizza I was hooked .
