The outside patio was beautiful and the inside was small but cute with some aspects of old Italy. The decor and professionalism of the staff far outweighed my main entree of chicken piccata and mash potatoes. The presentation was horrible, at least add some greenery to the plate - see pic. The chicken was ok with light lemon taste but nothing more than average. The fried rice balls braised short rib (Arancini) were super flavorful with a great Parmesan dipping sauce. The bathroom door to the ladies room did not have a lock which was annoying and had to find someone to hold the door closed.

First time here. Recommend by our VRBO host. Pizza is delicious. Will visit any time we are in town! The Italian blonde ale was a good beer and the cab wine was great. The pizza we tried was the rucola and spartana in 22inch rectangle and both were good personally would not repeat the spartana. My personal pretense but it was good. I like cheese sauce and meat with my pizza still will return and try something new as that is the goal when revisiting. Worth the visit. Server Carlos was very good!

Just moved in right down the road and this caught our eye earlier this week. The ambience is beautiful, service is attentive and friendly and the food is true italian deliciousness! We had prosciutto croquettes, pasta fagioli, pappardalle short rib ragu and carbonate! To finish off the wonderful meal, affogato with amaretto ice cream and tiramisu! our new favorite place!! Next time...we attack the pizza menu!

Local Italian pizza and pasta spot with character. Authentic homemade. Driven by this place hundreds of times and decided to finally try it out. It's in a little plaza on Nob Hill where there is a bonefish grill. Always wondered and now we know. Very nice menu with all sorts of appetizers and salads and pizza and entrees. There is also a nice wine and dessert menu. We didn't have a reservation but yet we were able to get a table outside. There was live music indoors and very loud so glad to be outside. We each had a side Cesar salad and some delicious bread. I ordered the chicken parm and my partner had a lobster ravioli. The chicken was a little tough and chewy. The presentation was nice and the pasta with it was excellent. I would still like to go back and try pizza or another dish. The service was also excellent and the decor very cute. I was a little disappointed but will go back and try it again.

Well, I was hungry again. it's stormy outside ,so I'm going close to home. We found this place, and we were greeted by Mercedes. What a great personality. It's clean and quiet inside. The food is delicious, full of flavor. They make their own pasta. Mercedes is very knowledgeable and aims to please

Came here for a celebration and was highly satisfied ! The ambiance was incredibly cozy and adorable, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable. The Rucola had some of the best prosciutto I've ever had on a pizza, very tender and savory. The Rigatoni was cooked perfectly with the sauce being rich and addicting! I wish the garlic rolls were a bit softer but loved the flavor. Perfect spot for a sweet date night.

Great crowd for a Friday night. There was a singer serenading guests and just an overall lovely atmosphere. We had about a 30-minute wait since we didn't have a reservation, but we didn't mind since we could enjoy the music. I was pleasantly surprised with this local spot, I definitely enjoyed the meal. They are not just known for pizza. They also have an extensive pasta menu. We tried one pizza, the Martina, and one pasta, the rigatoni pasticciati. Since it was our first visit, we wanted to try it all. Both the pizza and pasta were flavorful. The pasta had a good spice to it. I should have tried something with tomato sauce to really get a feel of the place, so I'll have to try it again. We ended with the white chocolate pistachio cake for dessert. They were out of gelato, though, so I didn't get the full dessert, unfortunately. They are priced comparable to other Italian spots, with pasta dishes around $18-20. The dessert was $12, which is a bit pricey, but with inflation it's expected. They have an extensive menu, making it a bit confusing to make a decision. Overall, it is a good local spot with a nice atmosphere located in a little strip mall.

**Vegetarian Friendly** This is definitely a "local" spot. The staff knew the regulars as soon as they walked through the door, and it made you feel at home. Our Order: - Garlic Roll - Margherita Pizza - Pera e Gorgonzola The Garlic Rolls are worth the wait. It's not your traditional garlic knot, it's freshly baked bread with a delicious garlic parmesan topping. The pizza had a slight crunch, didn't flop over right out of the oven, and was absolutely delicious. The Pera e Gorgonzola was overly sweet, so not our first choice, but the Margherita was fantastic. Plus points for having chili oil! We will come back!

The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish…read more We started with the calamari, which was cooked perfectly--light, crispy, and not greasy at all. The garlic rolls were insane... honestly some of the best I've ever had. We shared a house salad, and it was huge--definitely big enough to split. Everything tasted super fresh, and the balsamic dressing was perfectly drizzled and flavorful without being overpowering. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken parmesan with angel hair pasta. I'm pretty picky about marinara sauce (and I'm Italian, so I hold places to a higher standard), but everything was completely on point. The flavors, the sauce, the portion--just really well done. What made the experience even better was the owner coming over to talk to us. She shared details about the food and the restaurant, which made it feel really personal and welcoming. They also host special wine tastings at the end of the month with a curated menu, which I definitely want to come back for. We didn't try the pizza this time, but I already know I'll be back. They offer thin crust and even a deep dish that you can order ahead (about an hour in advance), which sounds amazing. It's a smaller place, but it's cozy, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be back--and next time I'm saving room for dessert (if I can stop myself from eating all the garlic rolls again).

Our server was pleasant, but once we had our food, he kind of disappeared. He took an especially long time when we were waiting for the check. As for the food, the best part of the meal was the bread. It was warm and delicious and our food runner/bus boy even gave us a fresh loaf to take home. My kids ordered plain pasta, which was fine ($7 each so not too bad). I had the chicken francese with pasta with marinara sauce. The francese sauce was too eggy and not nearly lemony enough. The marinara sauce was really more chunks of tomatoes than actual sauce. I will say the portion size was large. My husband ordered the salmon special with vegetables. The salmon was fine, but the veggies were hard and not at all seasoned. Overall, our experience was okay, but there are so many local Italian restaurants that I wouldn't come back to this one.

Large bay doors stay open, creating an inviting open-air atmosphere with plenty of fresh air and a relaxed vibe. Inside, every table has a view of the traditional wood-burning brick oven, along with multiple flat screens and music playing throughout the restaurant. One detail that stood out immediately was the visible service dog sign near the hostess stand. I was seated right away, and they even brought out a water bowl for my service dog without needing to ask. The server was knowledgeable about the menu, offered helpful recommendations, and confirmed they provide a 20% discount for military members and first responders on select meals, which is always appreciated. I shared a large Mona Lisa pizza topped with fresh basil, prosciutto, and thick slices of tomato. The thin crust came out perfectly crisp with just the right amount of char from the brick oven. Service was friendly overall, although it appeared the server may have been covering too many tables. Drink refills were missed, and it took a little while to close out the check. Even with that, the food, atmosphere, military-friendly discount, and service dog accommodations make this a place worth visiting for either lunch or dinner.

I highly recommend starting out with this salad (although it would be a bit much if you're dining solo). For my main dish, I went with the lasagna and my mom chose the Chickenn Romano (I think). My lasagna came out in a beautiful Staub rectangular dish and was absolutely delectable! I can not wait to go back and order this again. My mom's chicken dish was also very, very good! I ordered a side of Brussel sprouts that were cooked to perfection. We were both so happy with our choices. My mom and I enjoyed a chocolate martini as well. I liked it so much the first night, I came back for lunch the next day. That says everything -- and…read morethe honest review lives in both visits. Louie Bossi's on Las Olas is exactly the kind of Italian restaurant that earns its reputation through the food and loses a half star through inconsistency in service. I visited twice in less than 24 hours -- Friday dinner and Saturday lunch -- both times without a reservation, both times solo at the bar. Fair warning upfront: book a reservation if you can. I knew the risk going in and own that entirely. Friday Night -- Dinner I was seated at the inside bar near the service window, which also happened to be adjacent to the bus station where dishes and silverware were being cleared and disposed of throughout the night. It was louder than the ambient restaurant noise you'd want for a solo dinner. Again -- a reservation would have solved this -- but it's worth noting that a table placement like that is a mild disservice to the overall atmosphere the restaurant works hard to create. That said, everything else Friday night was excellent. I ordered the Limoncello Spritz, which is exactly what it advertises -- bold, citrusy, and lively. In hindsight it wasn't the ideal pairing for Cacio e Pepe, but as a standalone cocktail it was genuinely well-made. The Cacio e Pepe, however, was the real story. House-made noodles, perfect texture, flawless seasoning -- rich without being heavy, simple without being boring. It was a 10 out of 10 pasta. My server Friday night was outstanding -- attentive, warm, and checked in on me multiple times without prompting even as a solo diner. That kind of awareness is what elevates a good meal into a memorable one. Saturday Afternoon -- Lunch The Cacio e Pepe pulled me back the very next day, and it delivered again. Twice in a row, same dish, same result -- that's a kitchen you can trust. The service, however, was a different story. I ordered an Amaretto Sour to start. It never came. My pasta arrived first, and only then did the bartender realize she had never made the drink. At that point I didn't really want it, but I drank it anyway. When I was nearly finished with my meal, I ordered an Amaretto on the rocks and asked to close my tab -- and again, the wait was significant. Guests who sat down after I requested the cocktail and bill had their drinks ordered and made first. By the time mine finally arrived, I was past the point of enjoying it and simply wanted pay the bill and head out. A stark contrast to the Friday experience, and genuinely disappointing at a restaurant operating at this level on one of South Florida's most prominent dining corridors. (Pictures attached from lunch) The Bottom Line Louie Bossi's is a must-visit on Las Olas -- the food is the real deal, the atmosphere has character and charm, and when the service is on, it's really on. But the bar experience at lunch exposed an inconsistency that's hard to ignore. The kitchen earns a 5 every time. The service earns a 5 one night and a 2 the next. Averaged out with everything else, this is a strong 4-star restaurant that has the ingredients to be a perfect 5 on the right night. Make a reservation, sit in the piazza if you can, and order the Cacio e Pepe without question. You'll be back. The dining room was full on the night we were there and the ambiance is simple and a little rustic with the brick walls and beige tables. We started with the grilled octopus and the Italian rice balls stuffed with meat. I think we confused them as the rice balls come 2 to an order and there were three of us so we asked if we could buy an extra one. The first order came up with only 2 but instead of just leaving them and bringing another- they took the 2 away and then just brought one with out the other two. Clearly we screwed them up with our request. Eventually we ended up eating three but not at the same time. The octopus was delicious! For our entrees, I had the spaghetti alla vongole which was delicious and packed with clams. One of my dining companions had the lobster ravioli done spicy and and LOVED it as it came with shrimp on top and small tomatoes. My other dining companion had a special of the day which was a pumpkin ravioli. I think something got lost in the description of that item as he was expecting more of a fall dish but it came with a red sauce on it which he said was an odd combo. For dessert, I was stuffed, but one of my dining companions got the tiramisu for dessert which he said was quite good. All in all- the food was quite good, the drinks were well poured and we had plenty of food to take home for another night. Nice to have this local place in our neighborhood!

It's only for 12 and under but it's done in such a colorful and balanced way that kids will be well feed and enjoy it. This last visit seemed louder than normal but with it being the last school day of the year there were plenty teachers and administrators enjoy happy hour til 6pm.

Came with a group & we had to order ahead. The restaurant is very nice & we had a couple of tables in the back for large groups. We started with Caesar salad. I selected chicken Marsala that came with mashed potatoes & asparagus. I enjoyed both. For dessert we were given mini cannoli's with coffee. I was full at this point & asked for the cannoli's to go. The woman that was next to me left, so the server gave her cannoli's to me. Overall, the server & service were very attentive & the food was pretty good. I would definitely go back.

My server, Yushondria, was very pleasurable as she nicely greeted me and took my drink & food order. I wasn't surprised that I quickly finished the mango ice tea, I was quite parched from being out in the sizzling heat. My drink was immediately refilled as the shrimp & scallop risotto was placed in front of me. It looked appetizing and it was so good. The risotto was nicely cooked tona soft creamy consistency with mushrooms, shrimp, tiny scallops, and truffle oil. I was looking forward to dessert and ordered the chocolate chip bread pudding, which was really delectable. Served warm, oozing with chocolatey-chip goodness and topped with vanilla Gelato. I savored every bite until my stomach was full to capacity. I had a very enjoyable lunch at Brio. Looking forward to coming back to try another delicious dish.
