I have never eaten in here, but have had food picked up 2xs. The first time We ordered pizza ( with sausage and mushroom) and fettuccine Tartuffe. The fettuccine was delicious and very flavorful. We also got the rosemary focaccia which was great! The dough was soft and crisp and the parm cheese with the fresh rosemary was amazing. However my husband thought the pizza did not have enough taste - perhaps because the sauce to cheese Ratio was way off, with way too much crust, and the toppings were sparse for the cost. We would not get pizza from them again. Last night we ordered from them again and picked it up. My sister and I had the pumpkin ravioli with butter and cheese and sage and it was delicious! Very rich but an incredible flavor. We saved some for tomorrow! . My husband ordered the lasagna, which he said was good , but not great. We also got the rosemary bread again and it was just as delicious! We did order a side Caesar salad (small) and that was incredibly disappointing. The chopped lettuce was all brown and the hard ends of the romaine. ( see picture). Salad dressing was too harsh . I would not recommend it to anyone. I would have sent it back if we weee there, but it is still annoying to pay $ 6.90 to throw it away. So we will go back- there are several things we want to try- they do not do takeout for calamari or soups and we wanted to try those. read more

The ambiance in the Italian eatery boasted a rustic design with elegant stone archways and live music playing by an older gentleman with a classic Italian appearance. The centerpiece of the restaurant was the Marana steel dome, stone slab rotary pizza oven. It was very crowded inside and on the covered patio (dogs permitted) but was seated promptly at our reserved time. The server was professional but not overly chatty. She did not provide her name upon greeting nor did she have a visible name tag, so I cannot give her the personal kudos she deserves. The mystery server offered her opinion on a few popular appetizers from the expansive tranditional Italian menu. Ordered braised rib Arancini to share with the table and a pepperoni pizza with a nice char cornicione and a tangy sauce. The pizza was 6/10 and the balls were an admirable 9/10. The decor was commendable but seem to overpower the food and therefore missed it's mark on this visit as a 5 star behemoth. The gender assigned bathroom was clean but needed an immediate investment for a door locking mechanism. Black partition walls separated the amenities with two-tone pattern vinyl flooring. read more

We heard good things about this place from a couple of different friends, so we decided to give it a try for lunch. Unfortunately, we were somewhat disappointed. The locale is nicely decorated and has a very cute mural in the outdoor seating area, service was fast and friendly, but the gluten free pesto dish we ordered completely missed the mark. The pasta made out of chickpeas was very very hard and cold, and the pesto sauce was nothing special. We told the waiter about it and he took it off the bill. On the positive side, the hot honey al prosciutto pizza was very tasty. They have a very large menu that includes most Italian classic dishes, so we might comeback one more time to try some of their other dishes. read more

We had passed by this place so many times and finally decided to try it on a whim while on our way to another pizza restaurant. Since we had our dog with us, we sat outside. The patio area was nice with cute decor, and the waitress came out quickly with menus and water. We ordered drinks and they arrived pretty fast. The menu is fairly large with a variety of pastas, salads, pizzas, and other classic Italian dishes. Everything sounded delicious from the descriptions. I ordered the Al Salmone, and my husband ordered the Alla Montecarlo. Our food took a little longer than expected to come out. When my dish arrived, I started looking for the salmon... and kept looking. There was barely any in the pasta -- maybe about half an ounce total. I asked the waitress about it, and she said she would let the kitchen know. Unfortunately, we never saw her again until the bill came. She mentioned she told the kitchen, but no additional salmon was ever brought out. The pasta itself was very al dente -- a bit too chewy for my taste. My husband said his dish was okay but lacked flavor. The sweet red sauce mostly just tasted like plain tomato. His pasta was cooked more than mine and had a better texture overall. The highlight of the meal was actually the crunchy Italian bread and butter, which we enjoyed. For $26, I expected a full portion of salmon with my pasta. Honestly, the Al Salmone would be more accurately named "No Salmone." Sadly, we don't plan to return. It's a one and done. read more

I didn't dine in, but I ordered for pick up, it was very quick--the interior does look very nice and clean. Now, the Frutti Di Mare was really good, wish it had more seafood but that's just me being greedy and hungry. The cannoli were also very nice, crispy and a yummy filling. The outside patio was beautiful and the inside was small but cute with some aspects of old Italy. The decor and professionalism of the staff far outweighed my main entree of chicken piccata and mash potatoes. The presentation was horrible, at least add some greenery to the plate - see pic. The chicken was ok with light lemon taste but nothing more than average. The fried rice balls braised short rib (Arancini) were super flavorful with a great Parmesan dipping sauce. First time here. Recommend by our VRBO host. Pizza is delicious. Will visit any time we are in town! The Italian blonde ale was a good beer and the cab wine was great. The pizza we tried was the rucola and spartana in 22inch rectangle and both were good personally would not repeat the spartana. My personal pretense but it was good. I've always wanted to check this place out, and I finally did. I came here on a Friday night with my husband and two kids. The place was busy, but we got a table inside. It is a very crowded space inside with not a lot of maneuverability. There was live music inside as well. There are also tables outside, which might be better. Service was friendly, but quite slow. They had plastic cups and plates for my kids to use, which was appreciated. We ordered a plain cheese pizza, ossobuco ravioli, and a parma calzone. The pizza was really delicious; my kids ate the whole thing. The ravioli was also delicious, but it was a small serving. The calzone was massive and also fantastic. Honestly, everything we ate was great. We will definitely be back, but I think we will sit outside for a bit more space. read more

It's in a little plaza on Nob Hill where there is a bonefish grill. Always wondered and now we know. Very nice menu with all sorts of appetizers and salads and pizza and entrees. There is also a nice wine and dessert menu. We didn't have a reservation but yet we were able to get a table outside. There was live music indoors and very loud so glad to be outside. We each had a side Cesar salad and some delicious bread. I ordered the chicken parm and my partner had a lobster ravioli. The chicken was a little tough and chewy. The presentation was nice and the pasta with it was excellent. I would still like to go back and try pizza or another dish. The service was also excellent and the decor very cute. Great crowd for a Friday night. There was a singer serenading guests and just an overall lovely atmosphere. We had about a 30-minute wait since we didn't have a reservation, but we didn't mind since we could enjoy the music. I was pleasantly surprised with this local spot, I definitely enjoyed the meal. They are not just known for pizza. They also have an extensive pasta menu. We tried one pizza, the Martina, and one pasta, the rigatoni pasticciati. Since it was our first visit, we wanted to try it all. Both the pizza and pasta were flavorful. The pasta had a good spice to it. I should have tried something with tomato sauce to really get a feel of the place, so I'll have to try it again. We ended with the white chocolate pistachio cake for dessert. They were out of gelato, though, so I didn't get the full dessert, unfortunately. They are priced comparable to other Italian spots, with pasta dishes around $18-20. The dessert was $12, which is a bit pricey, but with inflation it's expected. They have an extensive menu, making it a bit confusing to make a decision. The owner was there and welcomed us, the service was excellent. Our server took the time to walk us through the menu being our first time. Our favorite dishes are the pizza (diavola) and the fettuccine Alfredo - both are amazing and great combo! Servers are friendly and parking is easy (extra parking behind restaurant). They often have performer (Frank Sinatra style) on Friday evenings. Prices are comparable to Olive Garden but I'd say more authentic and tastier (maybe not as big portion sizes but you don't need that anyway ha). It can get crowded so best to make reservations! read more

This place was amazing! It felt like real authentic Italian... not like my moms American Italian, but like I was back in Rome or Tuscany. Everything tasted so fresh, and flavorful! We started off with the caprese salad. I got the Amatriciana con Burrata and my husband got the Ragù a la Bolognese with Rigatoni for dinner. It was chefs kiss, I literally wanted everything on the menu! We ended with the homemade tiramisu, that just melted in your mouth. The servers were kind, and we were patient.. there were only two of them so I could under stand the delay in service, but the food came out quick! Can't believe this place isn't rated higher. Had my first visit here this weekend in hopes of a great pizza to go along with their outdoor seating and great wine list. I've tried every gluten free pizza in Plantation and I think Pizza Lovers Bistro has my favorite. A lot of other pizza places that offer gluten free pizza has gone down in quality so I was glad to see this place takes the effort to make a good pie for us unfortunate folks that have to eat gluten free. They also don't over charge for your dietary restriction like some restaurants in Plantation that will cost you close to $40 for a gluten free pizza. Tonight I went with my friends and for change ordered Lasagna, my favorite Italian dish, next to Pizza. It wasn't very big, or even thick, a slice of Sicilian pizza is thicker then the Lasagna that was served. It was looked like one layer of pasta Lasagna in bowl , and have to say not to tasty, or try slicing eat to eat in small bowl, not in flat dish. I would think for $18.00 they would toss a Garlic Roll or two, no bread to wipe the sauce from the bowl. I can say when you walkout a Restaurant hungry, like I did, wouldn't order it again. Came on a Friday evening. There was a great, older gentlemen serenading everyone with Italian and Holiday classics. Indoor seating is a little limited but, there is also outdoor seating with ceiling fans but, as is the Florida normal, it can be a bit muggy. The food was good but, if you build your own pizza, it can get out of control as the toppings are 3-5$ each. The food came out relatively quick and it's nice that some dishes are served in the cookware (skillet). The pizza's and calzones are cooked in a large, dome pizza oven that has a rotating bottom. The drinks are served a la carte ($3.30 for each one). It was a little warm but, they also had a portable AC and tall floor fan to try and cool off the dining room. The servers were very nice and attentive. Overall, a 7.9 for me and worth the try. read more
