My family and I were on the way to NY from Lancaster and we decided to stop and get something to eat and we ran into this amazing pizza restaurant who had great customer skills and service. The people are super nice and they have great reasonable prices. There was a Christmas party going on and they gave me and my family each a free slice of pizza and a free 2 liter to take on the road for the wait. My coworker made me come here from NJ with him for lunch because he assured me the cheesesteaks at Anthony IV were vastly superior than any I could get in New Jersey... While the cheesesteak was good, it wasn't worth the $1 toll (unless you take the Trenton Makes Bridge). It was no different than any cheesesteak you'd get at a random pizza place. They used to be our go to for hoagies. We ordered two hoagies from them recently and I was appalled. Our sandwiches had a HALF slice of Turkey on each side. We would have received a better hoagie from wawa. I'm wondering if they are under new management. When I called to get new ones made they made it with one piece of lunch meat on each side. Only street parking available, but in the evening, the avenues of Morrisville are pretty much open and you can pull up right in front or on the side street (Washington). Friendly faces and adequate booth and table seating. This is another of the Mexican/Italian deals, but don't let that deter you. The food is good and you won't really notice any Spanish accent unless you order the Mexican Pizza. It's just another on the list of many pizza shops in morrisville that are producing the same basic and bland pizzeria food. Pizza was insanely greasy and tasted and looked like a pizza that was sitting on the counter all day and reheated numerous times. The chicken cheesesteak was nothing to write home about either. Processed chicken steakums chopped up super fine and over cooked. Not even a decent size sandwich. The sauce tasted like ketchup with diced tomatoes in it. Anthony's ll probably served baby diapers filled with baby poop. Anthony's lll must have served recycled grease traps with little bits of baby poop in it. Anthony's lV was a mild improvement. Ordered tzatziki sauce on the side and they put it on the sandwich. Didn't bring forks when specifically asked. Cheesesteak was covered in grease and unedible.They told us they would bring a 2 liter bottle of lemonade but brought 2 small lemonades. Finally, the delivery driver was wearing a very offensive t-shirt. On this Good Friday, I wish my experience with Anthony and his pathetic excuse for a pizza parlor upon no God-fearing Christian. read more

Anthony's IV has hands-down THE BEST cheese pie anywhere in the area. It's actually quite a haul for us to grab pizza from here, but it's so worth the trip. Their pizza with toppings is amazing as well, but the plain cheese pie is really noteworthy. Love their garlic knots, cheesesteaks, lasagna, burgers, wings. Never support this place. I just witnessed the owner, who was very upset at some young boys who were squirting catch-up around in his store, tell them to get the fuck out! Yelling and screaming obscenities. Then he had the audacity to physically violate the children and force them to leave the store. Next he takes the ketchup bottle and squirt all of the ketchup on the kids when the kids were trying to clean up the mess that they created and for which they had apologized. Then to make matters worse, one of the kids said 'n***a get out my face and he called them all n***ers in return!!Yelling 'Oh, so you can call me a n***a but I can't call you one?' This is the craziest shit I have ever witnessed in a supposed professional place of business in my entire life. I was so angry and offended all I could do is pick up my stuff and leave. We live over in Chambersburg but we come to this place at least once a week. The cheesesteaks (chicken) are amazing! We recently moved away from Morrisville and man, I miss Anthony's!!!! We have tried several pizza places in our new area but nothing compares. We tried (yet another) mediocre pizza joint tonight and (yet again) it couldn't compete in the shadow of Anthony's so I felt bad that after all these years of loving their pizza (and burgers!!), I took them for granted and never even reviewed them! Their crust is perfect, cheese has FLAVOR, and sauuuce, sigh..... oh the sauce, it's so savory and fresh-tasting! I love the thin crust- closest thing to the New York Neapolitan style that I love. My husband is all about their Sicilian and I admit, it's awesome too. So now that I've shared my reminiscing, I'm REALLY bummed about moving away!!! read more

As a business owner myself I would never treat a customer the way I was treated today if I wanted their continous business. We placed an order, went to go pick it up and when I got there I told her I placed an order and told her my name. She said she didn't have an order for that. I then asked if i would be able to place the order now and she started yelling at me " No your going to have to wait" as she rushed around and I didnt see any reason considering I was the only one in there. I then told her nevermind and turned to walk out and she said "DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU!" I would never say that to my customers, I would do everything in my power to address the situation. My wife and I have been at our new location right down the street from Anthony's for almost 3 months and have provided them with plenty of business from us more than twice a week and we direct our customers to them for a bite to eat. Knowing what I know now, I will be redirecting them to La Villa right down the from them. Not a good move on their part considering how much business we generate. read more
