My new local pizza shop . Pizza was perfect and wings are great ordered a few times and all ways consistent.

A true shame. This was a stand out pizzeria for decades and are being run into the ground by new owners. They messed up our order which happens but then felt the need to argue with us when we explained to them their mistake. Stopped in with some hungry kids after practice and ordered a couple of pizzas. The service at the front counter was friendly and prompt. A lady who I'm assuming is the manager was filling the cooler and tidying up a bit. She was nice to us. The inside was clean and simple with a dozen or so tables. I noticed on my visit they had counter service - you walk up and order, then wait to grab your food from the counter when your order is called up. If you want seasonings for your pizza you have to get up and grab it yourself. Not complaining, just an observation. The pizza itself is above average, but not as good as I remember it. The cheese used to be sweeter in my humble opinion. Everything else was just fine, I would have preferred more sauce and quite a bit of cheese slid off the front of the slices. Crust was crispy and fresh, but needed more char on the undercarriage to firm up the slice. These guys have a big following.... for me I've had better from them in the past. Would I return, yes. It's still good solid pizza and I've never had a problem with the service here. Price for two pizzas, mozzarella sticks and 6 drinks was under $50. read more

Pretty good. Big salads. Pizza is yummy. Prices are comparable to other places. They do forget the extra dressing if you order extra, so you have to check when you pick up your order, but it's not the end of the world. I miss Sal! Walked in at 8:15 (they close at 9) and they started putting up chairs around us while we ate. We felt very rushed and unwanted there. My cheesesteak fried onions weren't cooked all the way because the rushed it. There is a taller man that seems to be in charge that gave off creepy vibes and made us very uncomfortable. Visit from Long Island and wanted a simple meal. Party of 6 adults and 4 kids. Everything we ordered was on point. Pizza and the new grandmas as well as the Caesar salads with grill chicken were all delicious and made to order. Friendly and patient staff as well as clean. Will definitely come back when we visit. I grew up eating V&S. It has been my favorite sandwich shop for a very long time. Although the flavors are still amazing, the pizza incredible, the sandwiches are much different than they used to be. They used to be packed with meat and cheese. I realize these times are hard for everyone, but our sandwiches were mostly bun. Not nearly the V&S sandwiches of even less than a year ago. Not sure about the other food, but for being a pizza place our pizza was terrible! We ordered a Brooklyn pie. It was a greasy, disgusting mess of a pie. The cheese was not quality cheese and the pie was not even a traditional Brooklyn pie. I've never been to a pizza place that doesn't know how to make a Brooklyn pie. I order my cheese steak hoagie exactly the way I want and specify exactly what I want on it, usually they still add oil with the vinegar which I let go. Tonight I clearly stated no onions but yet got extra onions, I called and informed them of the mistake and the response was he probably thought it was a cheese steak hoagie, the order slip had exactly what I wanted on it and nowhere did it say onions. She offered to make me a new one and I could bring the old one back. 10.00 for a 7 1/2 inch cheese steak hoagie they can't even make correctly and the fries were disgusting. read more

I was told 35 mins to get a chicken Cesar salad, and chicken Parmesan sandwich; I get there it's not even made; had sit for 15 mins totaling 50mins for that. Staff is unpleasant, they don't deliver, never enough workers; and obviously can't make a salad! My salad was chicken n lettuce with 5 croutons that were stale. A Cesar salad is more than that! Last week my daughter came home to visit and wanted to get pizza from the place that had been her favorite growing up. We ordered our slices and were approached by an employee who apparently didn't like the shorts and tube top she was wearing. She asked me "is that a bathing suit she's wearing?" I didn't answer so she asked my daughter directly. Then she said "you have to cover up". As we were just waiting for our slices my very embarrassed daughter decided to wait outside. As she left the employee said to her "you're basically naked". Granted it was not a modest outfit, but this walk in pizza place posts no dress code and she was in no way basically naked. We made the mistake of going to crespos tonight for a thin crust pizza. After getting our pizza, opening the box, the pizza was burnt and black. Lived here for 24 years and this was the only place I would go for pizza. Overpriced but worth the money. Used to brag about it to everyone! The owner (Sol) semi retired and my last 3 pizzas were HUGE let downs! First one was sloppy (a mess), 2nd one they changed the sausage meat, third one they started using different cheese what tasted like plastic (Dominos style). 3 Strikes you're out! We've been going here as a family for YEARS. Today, my grandfather passed away, we have over 30 people here to feed. we order 4 pizzas, fries, chicken tenders and a kids pasta . They told us 20 mins we got there 17 mins and the pizzas went in the oven when we got there! Then, they had the AUDACITY to give ME an attitude because there was a miscommunication between the cook and the person taking the order. The other food of course had been done and was now cold. The manager/owner whatever LITERALLY started throwing out pizza into the boxes and slamming everything in sight. This is about the farthest north that you will find a true cheesesteak. They make it right and you get a great value. I didn't know I'd find it in a pizzeria. Steak had great flavor and the bread did not overpower the rest. I got the V&S Special, which was loaded with pepper, onion, mushrooms, and pepperoni. Pepperoni was an interesting concept but blended well. Large sub only $7.50! Sauce is optional, just forgo it. Now, the review has to account for the rest of the food my group consumed. Chicken parm sandwich was average. Plenty of cheese, little meat, bread was toasty. Pizza is not up to NJ/NY standards, which is expected I suppose. It's about 3 stars. The sauce is the main issue, it needs to be tangier and more seasoned. Cheese and crust are pretty good as is. The sausage slice was covered in sausage and another table's mushroom pizza was shroomtastic, so those are pluses along with the price. All in all a good value and it's easy to see why this place is packed at mealtime. We had a generous wait time but it was understandable. Six people are working full-time in the back during peak dinner rush, and I appreciate that food is made to order. I have eaten here for many years. Mostly because it is so close to where I live. The prices are a little high compared to other pizza shops but the food is always good and it is kept very clean. I like V&S because it is family owned and run. The owner's daughter runs a tight ship and my orders are never wrong once I get home. I have been going here for 40 years. Many memories from high school. The past several times I have been getting attitudes from the younger help. So I wanted to try one more time. Same girl was asked by the owners daughter to ring me up. Not only does she not look at me, does nor say a word and throws my change in my hand. I leave and chuckle because she does not even say thank you or have a nice day. The owners daughter chased me down to my car and berates me. I tried to explain my side. I get cut off and says to me that her father (the owner) says to handle it however she wants. So she goes off and says her employee was right for being rude to me and basically got banned for her employee being rude. A 40 year customer that had absolutely no problem until this young girl. I just can't believe I got chased to my car. What manager or supervisor does that? Really? Very disappointed and sad that this comes from a Fairless Hills staple. I was reading the comments on here and have seen several complaints about the owners daughter. She says I'm the only one that complained about her.
