If you could judge a place by its appearance, take a good look inside their office, where you'll be met with depressing junk and clutter, with nowhere to even sit. On the outside, this place appears to be a nice family-owned business, but they are quite the opposite. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THE PRICE BEFORE THEY START WORK! I needed two small repair welds, totaling roughly 1.5". One was a cracked exhaust hanger and the other was a small half inch exhaust leak. Took the guy less than 5 minutes start to finish. $45.. What a rip off. Do yourself a favor and go see Rick at Valley Muffler & Radiator in La Puente instead. MUCH fairer prices.. That's what I get for not wanting to make the drive from Whittier. Will not make this mistake again.. read more

Stay faaaaaaaaaar away!!! Good reviews are not posted by customers, more then likely their own family members. Had catalytic converter installed 6/2022. Failed in 10/2023. Went back so they can honor their warranty. Came back 10 min later with a forged signature stating I refused a sensor to be replaced along side converter. Therefore this void's warranty. I will be taken them to small claims and reporting this to BBB. Seems like a family owned business. Fruit doesn't fall far from the tree. Lied, forged signature and no honor. I brought over a muffler for a swap. They ended up doing the muffler swap and deleted the 2nd muffler for me. I ran into an issue where the exhaust tips weren't even after, but they quickly fixed the issue. This place is great, highly recommended. read more

I went in for my scheduled mid muffler delete on my 19' Charger Hellcat. They did their job and now my car sounds better, clean weld on the piping with no issues. It was a reasonable price for the service (same as most places). The staff are friendly and welcoming, following COVID protocols. I was in and out in about an hour. This place is a joke i wasted my time going there putting car on lift them quoting me a price telling me to bring my car back in a week on Wednesday in moring than on Wednesday in moring them saying i gotta wait another week no there's no record of estimate so they can't guarantee the price the quoted me! My friend from work has been getting her 90s BMW 3 Series serviced here for years. She has always told me about them and I finally had a chance to bring a car here. Yesterday I brought my 2000 Honda Civic in for a timing belt and oil leaks. I had always gone to Ocean Honda for service, but I finally realized Ocean Honda's prices and service are ridiculous. The team at Anthony's are amazing! My car came back with no leaks, timing belt, water pump, brake fluid flush, all new drive belts, the works. Their communication is excellent. I can't say anymore about their prices, other than they will blow you away with their incredible service and low prices. They have a customer for life. Great job team! read more

Long time but due for a review. I have a long term project BMW wagon i'm working on. Needed temporary quad tips for a muffler delete until the project was done and a full exhaust would go on later. Straight forward work, was looking for someone new other than my old muffler shop. Anthony's Muffler, family run'd, very clean, great location, good pricing, great work. Called, came in, Anthony ask what I need - told me how long it would take, scheduled an appointment few days later. Did a nice job - very thorough, lined up my quads nice. My quads i brought had a little dent on one of the tips - I knew that. In the end everything came out clean. He has a good amount of stock at the shop - various tips, mufflers, etc. It's a complete shop. I'd bring back another BMW to him to work on. He''s detailed and paces himself and in the end you'll appreciate the work he's put in. I always try to pay cash - he accepts cards as well. --work done in Sept 14' and is hold'n up well 15'. Family shop. Seem like good respectable people. However.... I took my car here, they quoted me close to $2000.00. I was told the part I needed did not come by itself and they would have to order almost half the exhaust system just for the one part I needed. I was close to paying but I did not have all the money. I then drove to Whittier Muffler for a second opinion. They were able to find the one part I needed and install within the hour. Total cost came out too $550!!! I don't believe Anthony's Muffler tried to rip me off, I just think they need new parts suppliers. I saved myself more than $1000 by just going down the street. read more

I have been going to Anthony's Muffler Shop for several years now, since I own a Honda S 2000 and they specialize in this car. I have an S 2000 that is highly modified and Anthony's has had great prices and been very accommodating with scheduling the car for work. Ricardo is the owner and head mechanic and he is very nice and honest. His wife Jenny also works there, and she has been helpful in finding the best prices for auto parts and even getting estimates and facilitating body work, following a minor accident. Anthony's is generally less expensive than other garages and I will be taking my Mini Cooper there, once my current maintenance contract expires. This is not your Jiffy Lube, 20 minute service; Anthony's takes a little more time on your car and does the work right. read more

Since then, I have been going to Anthony's for everything for 3 of my cars and my daughter's car. There's no frills, just great service! Jenny and Ricardo and their daughter and son have a great family business and a lot of knowledge about cars. I have a GM SUV, a Cadillac, and a Tacoma and my daughter has a Subaru. They have been great in figuring out what the problems have been in each of the vehicles and fixing them. I consult them when a light comes on or I hear a noise and ask when I can bring it in. Ricardo is awesome. i came here to get coilovers put on my sc300, i called 3 days in advance to check his schedule. He is really good with japanese cars, but works on ANYTHING. He had about 2 other cars there before me, but still managed to to dedicate half his work day to installing 4 coilovers. He was very thorough and even adjusted the height for me 3 times and let me drive it around the lot to test it. VERY reasonable price, lower than 2 other shops i called in the area. I always judge a mechanic by the cars they work on, and he definitely works on nice cars. Jenny at the desk was also very nice. I've taken my car to Anthony's Muffler Shop a few times now for brake repair. They have great competitive rates and do repairs in a timely fashion. I've had to replace my rotors two times here which can get pretty costly. I learned from them though that other shops may have been tighting my lug nuts too much and combined with my wheels were causing the rotors to warp. Well since then after taking that advice, I have not had to replace my rotors. I feel they are an honest and reliable shop in the area. read more
