I must start this review by adding the caveat that it'd just be about an oil change. It could be that getting a car repair here is great, but I did not for reasons mentioned later. Upon arrival, I see that oil change prices vary. Most shops do this, but Quality Car Care have a very big difference on prices, even if the cars use similar oil. Another, more important, point on an oil change here is the high price. Quality Car Care only does synthetic oil changes, but their minimums are close to $100, and can go much higher. I understand that synthetic changes are more expensive, but other shops in the area are within the $60-70 price range. Thus, for an oil change, Quality Car Care isn't good value for money. There hasn't been any issues with the oil change itself, but one last thing I noticed was that my car door had oil stains near the handle and a bit dripped on my door. I had to wash my car after this oil change, while ultimately led to my disappointment here. With all of these things noted, I don't think I will be returning to Quality Car Care. read more

Had a check engine light come on, got it checked out and needed a new coolant thermostat. If not changed it could have done irreversible damage to my engine. I originally went to the dealer to get it changed. They wanted to charge close to a thousand dollars when the average is anywhere from 200-300 dollars. Came here to get my smog check certificate so I could renew my tags. I was immediately assisted by Vince who walked me through the process and accepted my $20 off Yelp certificate for checking in. He took down my car's information and put my car on the scoop. The entire process took less than 20 minutes and I had my certificate. They were very thorough and legit as I observed another client having his car serviced. The mechanic came over to show him how his transmission fluid looked like and what clean transmission fluid looks like so the client could compare. You don't see that anymore!
