Normally Anthony's is pretty good. But last night my delivery order from Anthony's Pizza in Parker CO was not so good. The pizza crust was not fully cooked and too soggy. They really need to cook the pizza before sending it out. *update We returned last night to give Anthony's another shot. Ordered at the counter for take out. It was much better! This used to be my go-to pizza joint in Parker, but things must have recently gone downhill. What used to be delicious, thin, New York style pizza was no longer rolled out as thin, chewy and over-baked. Such a huge disappointment from a place that used to have INCREDIBLE pizza. read more

This was by far the most disappointing/disgusting meal I've ever ordered. I paid close to $100 and got the bare minimum of anything tasty. First and foremost I never give a review let alone a bad one but I'm super annoyed. 2 orders of fettuccine Alfredo was just wet noodles with splash of what tasted like skim milk absolutely no flavor whatsoever, baked ziti was just a handful of noodles with a splash of sauce, and cheese cake was $5 for maybe 2 bites. Im writing this review at 9:23pm right after calling and being told they wont make my pizza bc they are closing. Even though they say they close at 10pm. This isnt the first time this happened with them, but its definitely the last. Its friday night and im sure the owners would like to know why they're turning down business. Had a pizza delivered last week and it was the worst pizza I have ever had from Anthony's and possibly ever. It was overcooked and tougher than hell. The center was good and what you would expect but a bit or two into it...it was tough. The kind of tough your jaw hurts from chewing 3 bags of beef jerky tough. It was not very hot but it was delivered so I don't feel I can be upset about a warm pizza. Best pizza in Parker. The manager of this place also knows how to hire and train, because the entire staff is friendly every time I come in. They act like they remember you, and that goes a long way. The pizza is the best, beats Ricci's by a little bit because of it's generous portions. It's about $20 a pizza, but it's worth it. I haven't had anything else there...besides the coke, and it's good too. Great place to take the sports team after they just got done whoopin up on the opponent. Go Parker Hawks! I was pretty impressed by Anthony's. I ordered a slice of the Neapolitan with mushrooms and onions and a small italian salad.. The boy got two slices with pineapple and ham and we both got two fountain drinks. The total was $15. You can't beat that. I also really enjoyed the guy working at the counter. He was super super nice. Someone sneezed at one point and he made sure to say bless you. He asked us how our day was and really conversed with us. When we left he made his way over as soon as we stood up to grab our trays from us. It was the type of service you don't expect from a little pizza place. They have one of those Coke machines where you can mix a bunch of flavors into your pop to make it taste like something that Coke doesn't bottle and sell for a reason. They also have my favorite black tea sweet tea. Dude brought our meal out to our table and man are those some nice big flat cheesy gooey slices of pizza. The crust was crisp and the toppings were plentiful. My salad was in a pretty small bowl but they really packed it in there. We will be back much more often now.. read more

Read this review before ordering from these guys! Ordered from here last week for delivery. Girl that took our order said it would take 45 mins. No problem. Time goes on... And on... Waiting....hour and. Half passes and I decide to call and check on order. Girl answers and says she doesn't know who took the order. (One other person taking orders btw) says it will be almost another hour. What?! I say at this point go ahead and cancel it. Girl : my manager says I can credit you for two free slices on your next visit. Me: there's not going to be a next visit. Girl: my manager now says you can have a free pizza on your next dine in. Me: there's not going to be a next visit. Please refund my money. Girl: how did you pay? Cash or card? Me: it was a phone in order how can I pay by cash over the phone? This is my go-to pizza place and has been for several years. There were some glitches the past year or so as many places had but they're back. I LOVE that I can get a slice because their slice, is more like a small pizza for me. It's huge and if you ask for extra of cheese, you know you got it. I like their salads and they have great Pasta Alfredo. I always ask for extra sauce and again, it's big enough to share or have leftovers. They have my favorite bone-in wings. My homemade ones are bangin' but take time and their wings are as good. I order just crispy no sauce 'cause my gut can't handle much spice anymore and I like the option of dipping in blue cheese or sweet n sour or whatever. My daughter really likes the spicy wings. They do their OWN delivery. Can you believe that? No delivery charges, so, driver gets extra tip money. Win-win. I also pick up pizza to take to the men at work. Very popular. The pizza not me; okay and me. ;) I like the toppings but would like to add ground beef because Anthony's had franchises at most Air Force bases for years and their bacon, cheeseburger w/ cheddar cheese pizza was my favorite. I love their pizza. Nice chewy thin crust with a tangy red sauce. They have green olives which many places do not. So this is a definite plus. Always good service and consistent food. Thing you have to remember is not too put too many toppings on the pizza - I'd say the most is two. we did four meats one time and you had the eat the slice with a fork because when you picked it up it just didn't hold up to that much meat. read more

This is okay pizza. It's the closest pizza place, just a short walk from my home which makes it my go-to when I need a quick fix. They offer a lunch special but the prices are a bit high for what you get. Happy they're close by and I do get there one every 2 months or so but nothing you should go out of your way to experience. Poor put together pizza, wanted a meat lover like pizza. They put way to much meat, large slices of ham and clumps of bacon and sausage, every bite was overwhelming, they also put the cheese on top of everything so forget picking off the excessive meat. Also, since the cheese was on top, it would pull off all the toppings as soon as you took a bite, had to reassemble my pizza multiple times. Hope this was just a one time thing. Horrible experience. Ordered Cesar's chicken salad and Alfredo chicken . Chicken on both was gross !!!! It looked worse that from frozen "smart ones " tasted horrible ! Hard ! And icy cold ! So... I visited today and ordered two slices - both chicken and black olive. The good? The crust, as usual, thin crispy, very NYC. The bad? Pretty much everything else. I had asked the woman at the counter what was fresh and hot. Her reply was that they could make anything and I just needed to pick some toppings from the board. As I do not eat anything with 4 legs I decided on chicken. When I asked what else she would recommend she just looked at me. When I asked if it was alright if I sat and took a phone call (I was the only one in the place) her response was,'Is this for here or to go?' ??? The pizza was definitely old. Old enough to know it was not 'fresh'. There was almost no sauce and even less cheese. There was, however, a half pound of diced chicken and black olives lobbed onto each slice. Good, right? Nope. The pizza was lukewarm but the toppings were straight out of the refrigerator. Not even room temperature but flat out cold! When I asked is this was normal the response was, 'No. Would you like me to reheat that?'. Uh... So, my remaining slice went back into the oven, which made it even drier. The toppings warmed up to room temperature. There was no apology, no offer to re-make the slice (I mean, c'mon, how much would have really cost to start over?), and the slice was brought back on the same paper plate (grease stains and all)!! Through it all, the woman at the front, and I am assuming her friend, we eating Chinese take out from the place next door! Seriously? You work at a restaurant and you are eating a different restaurant's food? In front of customers (two others showed up while I was there). I get that you cannot eat pizza every day but c'mon. Take a break, go in the back, anything but in front of paying customers. It has been 10 years since I have been here (I used to live nearby but moved far away). It is good to see Anthony's is still here, but based on my experience I cannot see how they have survived. read more

Just got home with our pizza from Anthony's, somehow it is overcooked but we were told 20 to 25 minutes it would be ready and its not 20 minutes later, clearly this pizza was cooked earlier and recooked. Sorry Anthonys we will not be back. read more

The pizza was really solid, but what surprised me was the service. The guy that took my order and brought us our food was very friendly and helpful. When I was filling our drinks, he brought crayons and paper to my daughter which was beyond nice and really made her day. I've never been here before and live really close, so I will make it back in and try more items on the menu just because the employee went above and beyond when he didn't need to. I had the worst experience with this company. I'd give them a 0 if I had the option. We ordered a pizza, a calzone, "cheesy garlic bread" and wings. Well first off, the wings were fried! Burnt to a crisp. The "cheesy garlic bread" was not only fried to a crisp as well but had NO GARLIC AND NO CHEESE! It was literally just a loaf of bread. Okay, a couple of years ago, I gave this pizza joint in Parker a bad rating. It was well deserved due to the crap quality of food. We couldn't tell what we were eating. "Could be meat, could be cake" - George Carlin It was as though they were running out of pepperoni and sausage and just chopped what little they had left and threw it on there like kitty litter. Well, over the last few months, we've gotten take-out once and delivery twice and everything was just right. I don't know what happened there for awhile but it was corrected and now Anthony's is back to our fave pizza place in Parker. We aren't into deep-dish pizza. We like thin crust with lots of stuff on top and that's what we've received all hot and melted into a pizza lava flow. We tried the spicy wings today too and those were really good and not TOO spicy. Ordered the Mediterranean salad for my husband who gave up meat 2 years ago (I don't know.) and it was fresh and crisp. So, if you haven't tried it lately, maybe you should and they do have the option of thick crust for all you Chicago and Detroit pizza fans. read more

We tried Anthony's for the first time tonight and was hoping for a better experience. I was slightly skeptical from the reviews. The online ordering was easy, which was nice. The wings and garlic bread were great. Our pizza was mediocre and not crispy at all, even though we specified well done on the order. Definitely nothing special. The ravioli was also mediocre and had little flavor. They forgot one item which is why I am giving 2 starts instead of 3. Mistakes do happen. I thought about giving one star only because I spent almost 10 minutes trying to get ahold of someone to let them know they forgot an item. I kept getting put on hold for 5 minutes and no one would answer. They didn't even offer to bring the item which is frustrating because we live close and left a nice tip. They just said they would take the item off and rushed me off the phone. Not sure we will be back considering the food and experience given there are so many other places in the area. read more

I've been going to this Anthony's for over 10 years now and I don't understand all of the complaints? I've ordered over 1000 pizza pies and coming from NYC, they are the closest thing to authentic New York style pizza. I met the owner and I know he takes pride in his store. I wish people would just let him know what's going on before posting negative reviews on here. I've never had a complaint, only one was that we ate it too fast! I've always had great food and service. I did order a Sicilian and I should have asked how much sauce they put on it, but I let the lady know up front and she suggested that next time I ask for more and they don't charge for it. She even offered to pay for it, I told her it's okay, it was my fault. To Ann N's posting, no one in Italy would ever put vinegar on a Caprese salad, it would be an insult. WATCH OUT! I ordered from here and had the worst case of food poisoning I have ever experienced. I ate a calzone for lunch, and that was all I had eaten and was throwing up and sick as a dog for the next 4 days. This is the first time I've been here and before I even try the pizza the kid that works the register is already irritating me. He took my order with a what do you want look in his face. After I was done ordering he jumped on the counter sat down and started playing on his phone. He then proceeded to call his friend and talk to him while customers are in the restaurant! We got to go, so not sure how the pizza would taste right out of the oven right away, but ours was so so. We got the large thin crust with mozzarella, basil, mushrooms and artichoke hearts.
