My new favorite spot! I downloaded Yelp JUST to leave this review! I was shocked when the young woman at the counter said they'd been open 16 years...! I bank in the corner, and have shopped and at in this plaza for decades, and some, just haven't SEEN it! I was in the mood for an Italian beef sandwich, and what I got was delicious - the bread it was served on was especially good: soft, with a brush of butter on top - yumm! But the reason for my review: The FRIES were AMAZING! Fries are not the most wholesome food you can get, so when I eat them, I want them to be WORTH IT! These OH-SO-WERE! Hot, crispy outside, soft inside (a "full" fry - smaller than steak fries, bigger than what McD's serves) with just a hint of salt. PERFECT!! The portion was large enough that I ate them all the way home, with my RC cola (what nostalgia!), and still had some left when I got there for my sandwich! Now I'm gonna have to go back to try their pizza, and the soups others rave about, and the desserts that look scrumptious! I ordered a Fantastic Four on 3/14/26 I picked it up at 6:53 pm. it tasted funny so we did not eat it. I have ordered the same pizza for a year now. I called today to tell them and he said that I had to call within 1.5 hours with a concern. He offered a pop next time I ordered. There will be no next time! Thin crust Pizza was good. I ordered pizzas for carry out for lunch & picked them up without issue. When I got back to work 1 of the 20" pizzas must've been so hot & got tipped putting it in their warmer that all the toppings slid off the pizza into the back corner of the box. This pizza was just tossed in garbage. I wasn't going to use my hands to slide the mess back on & expect my coworkers to eat it. It would've looked awful anyway after sliding off. I've bn looking for a neighborhood Mexican spot to enjoy. I was in the shopping center and decided to go inside since I've never seen it there before. I ordered a California chicken burrito to go. The hostess heard me order chicken. I sat and waited. She said your chicken burrito is ready. Got back and ready to enjoy, and in the first bite, I noticed it was steak!!!!! Say what?!?! I was fuming!!!! She knew I wanted chicken. So I called up there hoping she would answer, but she didn't. Someone else did and wanted to argue with me abt how it's input into their system for that burrito. Says it automatically comes as steak. But the options on the menu are chicken as well. He said he asked her while I was waiting and she said I ordered steak. THATS A LIE !!!! Somebody over there is a liar !!! Tried this spot last night for the first time. We ordered a mix of items to try. My family was pleasantly surprised as everything we ordered tasted great. Anthony's usually is pretty decent food but yesterday we ordered four steak grinder sandwiches. Unfortunately, all the sandwiches have so much fat pieces in it. My wife wouldn't eat it. The picture I showed is from just the third of one of the sandwiches. Went to Anthony's this weekend. I had the tacos and they were really good! My daughter had the Burrito and really liked that as well. Chips and Salsa were very good as well. Definitely not as busy as it should have been. I talked to the owner and he bought the place a couple of years ago. He kept the same pizza guy that's been there for 20 years and added seating inside with a full Mexican menu. I told him I don't think people know you have Mexican food here. He agreed. In my opinion ( and I've had tacos from everywhere) these are some of the best tacos around. I will be back for more and I hope the word spreads because the owner seemed like a genuinely nice guy. read more

Individual pizza slices NEED WORK, pizza from the old owner used to be top notch, folks don't want their toppings added after a cheese pizza has been cooked to make it into a sausage or pepperoni slice to save the business money of making a entire sausage or pepperoni pizza, toppings need to be baked into pizza! read more

Love love love this place! Great gem in Orland Park! Ok so the cauliflower crust pizza is the bomb. Very good. Very tasty if you are keto or gluten free. Try their homemade cream of rice soup in the winter. The bomb! Also any of their pizzas whether thin or deep dish. The bomb. Lastly. Best offer going is a slice of pizza and a drink. Steve is super friendly! We visited from Utah for business and leisure and he made us feel at home. This is a tough one. I came across this place from the yelp app. Passing through Homer Glen, I had a craving for pizza. Ordered a medium Fantastic Four. The owner was super friendly and welcomed me as a new customer. He even showed me the pizza, which looked great on top. However, when I bit into the pizza, i could tell two things... one: there was very little sausage and two: it wasn't cooked all of the way. The dough was actually very light on the bottom and wet in the middle. I snatched a piece in the car, as it looked so good I didn't want to wait til I got home to try it. Just wanted to sneak a piece. The sauce is a good sweet sauce and the overall taste was average. Due to the lack of sausage and rawness of dough, I gave it three stars. Would I try it again? Take a look at their menu ~~ it is so affordable. At a time when I don't know how young families can afford take out food, it is so refreshing to see reasonable (low!) prices! I had a beef pizza from Anthony's pizza and I think it was the best pizza I had in a very long while. The toppings were added generously and the cheese was heavily added. You only find this quantities in home made pizza when you make pizza for your own. I did like the thickness of the pizza as well. I really enjoyed my pizza so much. Hats up. read more

We walked in, a group of 6 adults and 2 kids. We wanted to sit at the bar for snacks and drinks. We were greeted by a beautiful hostess. She told us we could sit at the bar. We were then rudely told we could not buy the bartender because of the children. Then, after walking to the outdoor section, they told us we could sit at a table but had to be out in an hour. I love this place. The food is always awesome. The soup. I have traveled hundreds of miles for this soup. The cream of chicken rice. Show stopping stunning. To drive 600 miles for. The soup is so good I eat it on 95 degree days. The shop is small in size but big on quality. The pizza and the grinders are always good too! I have never left Anthony's upset and will always come back. The owner is a very nice guy, remembers my name and family and is always good for a small chat or whatever. My family's go-to for thin crust pizza. Great owner and service always. Love the small business, traditional Chicago mom & pop feel shop with really special thin-crust and variety of foods and soups offered (also very good). Consistently strong quality food and only thin-crust pizza that comes close to it in the Orland area is probably Lou's. Stuffed is also good, but I'm addicted to Giordano's for stuffed. It pains me to be honest about this review because the owner is a nice guy and seems to take pride in making the food. When I order a sausage pizza, I'm used to cheese that stretches and big chunks of sausage like Palermo's or Beggar's, but the cheese here is thinner than a slice of paper (and I'm not exaggerating one bit) and the sausage is cut into such tiny bits that you can barely see them under the cheese. I ordered a sausage and because I could hardly see the sausage, I thought he gave me cheese pizza by mistake! Also a half-inch around the circumference has no cheese or sausage at all! Had a combo beef & sausage sandwich which while not bad, it was nothing to write much on here about. He says he makes his own sausage but I could hardly taste any fennel in it at all. I will say that he does have really good soup to make up for the rest. I would suggest that he use a lot more cheese and cut the sausage on pizzas into bigger pieces and raise the price to whatever it costs! I'm also not a fan of the sauce which tastes like the old Shakey's and I think Aurelio's that doesn't taste like real tomato sauce you get at Palermo's or Beggar's, but that might just be some people's preference but not mine. I just dropped in with my father between doctor appointments. We needed to get our Italian food fix. Neither of Us had been there before. What a nice surprise! Food was delicious and the owner was a super nice guy who clearly puts his heart and soul into his food and his business. I'm gluten free so Italian food is usually a challenge but the gluten free pasta was delicious and the owner brought me a sample of the chicken tenders which melted in my mouth. I'll get that next time. They have gf pics s as well. It's mostly a take out place but we enjoyed eating there and chatting with the owner. Do not hesitate to order from Anthony's.
