We stopped in for a quick dinner and the place smelled amazing from the moment that I walked in. We ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and mushroom(which is our normal go to). We also ordered side salads with ranch. The place was very clean and organized. We went and sat down our food was brought to us. The salads were great and the pizza was so good. Nice quality toppings and the crisp on the crust was do amazing. The service was so absolutely fabulous. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this place for a quick bite. read more

Imagine going to a place and being lectured because you brought your own water. They charge for water. The manager wanted to fight with me for 5 minutes over the fact that I needed room temperature water due to my medical issues. The only way I could get room temperature water over there is from their tap and I have no idea how clean that water is. Their soda machines are not even mixed right no matter how many times I bring it to their attention. This place used to be my favorite local place to go, but not anymore. They are the only place in this city that I know of that even charges for water after paying for a meal. read more

Today I had the lunch special, A steak and cheese hero. The sub was Made on an 8" fresh bread roll. It came with a drink and chips. For the price ($6.50), this was a much better deal and much better meal than you would ever get from someplace like Subway or Jersey Mike's. I'll definitely be going back again. read more

pretty good place for takeout. had 3 XL pepperoni pizzas for me and my family. service was great and was in and out. don't recommend dining in, however. due to such a small and tight space, it's not covid friendly. again, good for takeout and got food pretty quickly. read more

It's a hole in the wall with yummy pizza and that's about it. Don't bother getting the misc "Italian" food- it's mediocre and would not be my first choice for Italian but it is the only "Italian" restaurant this side of town. Clean environment and the workers are nice. I was 1 of 4 people in the whole place and the speed of service could definitely be better. This was also my first time and I was told that their internet was down so they had to copy my debit card info on a piece of paper until they could manually put the info in. That made me nervous! I am from Buffalo, NY and really miss the pizza up there. This is the one place that gets pretty close. Their wings are not as good as other places. This is our Saturday "cheat day" spot. Easily the best pizza in Simpsonville that we've found, and among my top 5 favorites from anywhere. Pizza is always piping hot, with plenty of cheese and toppings with a good sauce ratio (I like more sauce, my wife likes less, so it's a good balance). One of the best parts is the crust; it has a slightly crispy exterior with a delicious, chewy interior. Good bite, and oh so good with a little ranch dressing... (it's the South, you dip stuff in ranch here...) not to mention they also have some of the best ranch we've found. Yes, there's a difference in ranch dressings from place to place. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Even though it's a self serve on the drinks, we're always asked if we'd like a refill. We're always greeted with smiling faces and great attitudes. Having worked in the food service industry for ~17 years previously (front of the house, back of the house, and management) let me tell ya, that's not an easy trait to find in employees. After five great experiences, our experience last night was pretty awful. I was going to let it slide but this escalated from "peeved" to "flip the table and storm out". We had never been to Antny's (that's how my daughter says it) on a Friday night, and we were surprised how busy it was. We have been on Thursday night and Sat afternoon and everything was fine. We waited in line to place our order: four salads and a cheese pizza. The salads took around 20 minutes to receive. We gobbled those up and eagerly awaited the pie. And waited. And waited. After 45 minutes, I asked one of the room servers where our pizza was, because five tables who had arrived after us already got theirs. She walked to the back and said what all patrons dread " What did you order again?" Oh great! She said they lost my ticket! They had to make us a new pizza. It was good when it arrived, but seemed a lot saltier than usual. I had to ask for marinara sauce three times. Overall, a horrible night. If this was our first visit, I would never go back. I am giving them a break due to previous pleasant experiences. By the time we left one hour and forty five minutes after arriving, we had been there longer than EVERYBODY else in the restaurant. Oh yeah, another thing that perturbed me was the restaurant's response. We got a cursory "we're sorry" but that was it. No free cookies or coupon or anything. Today was my first time trying this pizza place. I ordered a vegetarian and it was awful. This was easily the worst pizza I've ever had. The vegetables tasted like they were frozen and heated up in the microwave and the sauce tasted watered down. I couldn't eat a whole slice it was that bad. I called and asked to speak to the manager and a guy named Tony asked me what was wrong. I told him how bad the pizza was and he got an attitude and started arguing with me. He also said he's been doing this for 20 years so he must be doing something right. Any good manager should know how to talk to people who have a complaint. But from what I can see all they do is make awful pizza and treat their customers like they're disposable. No I will not be back to Anthony's pizzeria read more

Absolutely excellent Pizza! We came here because of the positive reviews and were not disappointed. We ordered an xtra large pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage and black olives. It was very very good and had a taste reminiscent of New York Style. My wife, who has celiac, ordered the gluten free pasta with Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken and broccoli. She said it was exactly what she had been craving. Will definitely come back when I am in the area next and recommend it to anyone who wants a good pizza pie. read more

I have been here twice and loved it both times. On the first visit, I picked up a Hawaiian pizza and it was delicious. Thin crust, fresh ingredients, and still piping hot when I got home. The slices are large, and you will pay $18-20 for one pizza, but the quality is well worth it. The sauce on the pizza tastes homemade. On the second visit I ordered Buffalo Chicken. The pizza had a generous amount of chicken and great flavor. The people at Anthony's are friendly and know their pizza. Can't get to Manhattan?
