Anthony's towing Dropped the ball. Called AAA 7:45pm Received a call from Anthony's dispatched said it would take 2 1/2 - 3 hours to get a tow less .7 mi. She told me to cancel the service order and call @ 9:01 and it would be much quicker. And I waited in 99' weather until EZ towing came. EZ towing was amazing. My insurance sent Vincent from Anthony's towing to my car due to a flat. When I made a call for the service, my insurance suggested I get my towed to a destination, but Vincent understood the assignment! I just needed an air up! I appreciated that Vincent contacted me to let me know that when he would finish his lunch, he would arrive just after. Through my app, I could see the ETA. He politely came up to the door (I was also notified via text), and it only took about 5 minutes, and I was on my way to my destination! He was fast, efficient, and fun to talk to. read more

I'm a disabled veteran that has served 4 tours in Afghanistan and I'm sure this is a great company however, Dylan the little coward small white guy and unprofessional driver came to my home and insulted my clothing and called me an asshole. Again I'm a disabled veteran that has served 4 tours in Afghanistan and sometimes I have issues with my daily clothing and for this driver to insult me in that way I felt highly disrespected. We had a disagreement which I was getting irritated because he kept cutting me off which would annoy anyone. I was questioning the fact I said my vehicle was in the backyard and when they arrived they said don't remove vehicles from backyards. I was so confused. Dylan was so emotionally weak he couldn't fight his demons and responded with verbal attacks on my appearance and calling me names cursing at me as he walked away to get in his truck. Even then in response I held my composure at my home and I never cursed at him or spoke about his appearance. Thats just evil! Dylan is very unprofessional and a coward. He drove away and continued to yell things at me down the road so loud to reach my ears, that my neighbors came out and asked why the tow truck guy was yelling. As a man I would have said what I needed say to another man's face and not as I'm leaving which is a true coward move for any man or I would have not have said anything at all as an employee and moved on with my day. so disappointed. this company left my family and I stranded on the freeway after an accident. AAA sent Anthony's towing out. the technician was extremely rude. was on the phone the entire time, didn't great me or anyone in my party. took two pictures of my truck and told us it was denied / not covered. told me it would be 700-900 dollars. all in under 2 minutes. i asked him why it wasn't covered and why is the price so high. he smirked and gave a huge sigh. shrugged his shoulders. said AAA is now out of it and it's now a private contract to have towed. wanted to charge 3 hours + and he wasn't here but a few minutes. i told him yes we'd pay it and again asked why it wasn't covered. I did not refuse service. the technician walked away. jumped in his truck and drove away. again left us stranded dangerously on the freeway. I called another company. they were 1350! that was significantly more. however the dispatch and technician were pleasant and got us home safely. ultimately, I am baffled at the customer service, the rudeness, tenacity for someone not to answer a question why my triple AAA service wouldn't cover the vehicle. Instead of engaging and educating us as the client he gave attitude and left us stranded. I don't recommend this company. I expect more from a reputable company like AAA & their vendors!!! read more

This Towing Service is one of the best I've had. I want to Thank the driver who towed my car to Auburn when my clutch pedal got stuck, I forgot his name, but he did an amazing job. Called AAA to receive towing at a specific time, 2:30 p.m., and the agent I was filing a claim with eventually realized what I was asking for and said that's not how they do things. I did not mind having my request for towing at a specific time rejected. It was a straightforward and honest answer. Anthony's Towing calls me 1-2 minutes later. I tell them that AAA said it couldn't be done, but the dispatcher said they could fulfill the request by putting a hold on the call until 1-2 pm, when it would be filed for a truck to get to me between 2 and 3 pm. This is great news! Above and beyond. I get an automated text from AAA at 2 pm saying that my tow truck driver would arrive at 2:53 pm. This means that Anthony's Towing contacted AAA and said that they would take the job. I wait until 3:45 pm before I call to ask where the truck is. The dispatcher says that I said I wouldn't be available until 2:30 pm, so they didn't put in the request until 2:30 pm. The tow truck driver had accepted 2 jobs and would not head over until they were done with those 2 jobs. I thought about it for a minute and called back to cancel the tow request. I had a previously scheduled appointment to have my flat tire repaired (where I was towing my car to), and I decided to just take care of it myself. The dispatcher hung up angrily. TL;DR Anthony's Towing said they'd fulfill a request to send a tow truck at a time scheduled well in advance, they did not START processing my request for a tow truck until I was at home? (according to the dispatcher), despite telling AAA that they would arrive at 2:53 pm, and the tow truck would not arrive until at least 2 hours after the original time they said they'd arrive. Poorly managed. Bad customer service. No accountability. Not reliable. read more

Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE company. Was stuck outside at NIGHT for over 2 hours waiting for a tow truck from ANTHONY'S TOWING that I was told was en route, only to be told that they never took the call and never sent a truck on the way. As I was waiting for the newest towing company that was nice enough to help me out, the Anthony's towing truck literally DROVE past me, after I was told they had no more trucks on the road that evening. I wouldn't even choose Anthony's Towing if I was stuck with no other options during the apocalypse. I'd rather die. read more

4 Hours waiting by Hwy 80 waiting for a tow truck from AAA and Anthony's towing. It was a flat tire and I didn't have a spare. AAA, after much navigating through the automated response system, said I would have a tow truck in 45 minutes. No confirmation from the towing company. I kept calling AAA every 40 minutes or so waiting by the highway. I had a puppy with me the entire time and could not even go to the next exit a mile away, since I knew that if you are not by the car, they won't provide service. It took a full two plus hours just to get a call from Anthony's Towing and they said they will be there in exactly 17 minutes. And they still did not show up for more than an hour or give indication. A good Samaritan stopped by and offered to fix the tire. We accepted his offer, and he was able to do it. We left the place at 8PM. We had to stay overnight nearby and get the tire replaced to go on our way. A whole night wasted plus the hotel fees. Anthony's Towing had the gall to send me a text asking for a 5 star review. I particularly fault AAA, because they are large enough and they have the systems to know that service was not being delivered. And they never tried to fix it by finding alternatives. I will be going through all my AAA contracts and canceling them. They used to be good. But if they cannot even deliver their primary value which is emergency service, what is the point of even being in business? read more

They were sent by AAA to replace my battery on a Friday. They showed up without the battery. They didn't have the battery in stock but said it would be in Monday. Monday when I checked the delivery person had called in sick, said maybe Tuesday. Wednesday I was not available when THEY had time so we agreed on Thursday. When the guy came to put it in he said he had to go to the warehouse & pick it up that morning himself. The bill had the wrong sales tax rate and was added up incorrectly. I called the office and left a message asking the bookkeeper to call me but never got a call back. So, it took nearly a week to get the battery and they overcharged me. read more

When we called the supervisor she was of no help and didn't even ask for the drivers details. When driver arrived and we voiced concern for the vehicle not being on a flat bed he told us that we were being ridiculous, and then started being incredibly rude. I had a spare tire and asked him if he could please change the tire. He did but the tire didn't fit. So he towed the car to the nearest AAA Auto Repair Shop. Which was closed. I called a friend to pick me up.Hanes was a gentleman and said I could wait I. His truck until my friend came as it was very hot outside. His cab was air conditioned and he offered me cold water. AAA sent Anthony's towing to tow my car and the driver tried to charge me and tell me that my AAA membership doesn't cover my tow when it does and it clearly states on the website that it was covered. I was told since my vehicle was already at home and not on the side of the road I couldn't get it towed which is ridiculous. If a Member's vehicle cannot be started or driven safely, AAA may provide tow services to a destination. Having a tire blowout on the way to work is stressful enough without the driver reprimanding me for not knowing closest side street or exactly where I was located. He made me fully aware that I took up an extra 25 min of his time and he had 5 other calls from people needing to be at work as if I wasn't one of them. We had an unfortunate need to call AAA for a tow service back in Oct. Our fender liner came lose and started rubbing against the tire. We decided to have it towed back to the dealership, where it, the fender liner, was just installed that same day. It was our first car trouble experience and you can just imagine the anxiety... Anyway, this big yellow truck came to our rescue. The driver was very nice - his positive attitude and how he greeted us and how he talked to us - it made all the difference. It was a crappy experience that we had to get the car towed but Anthony's driver was just very professional and with the excellent customer service, it was just exactly what we needed at that moment. My car was towed at night after 1 hour that I mistakenly parked wrong. My belief is that my car was only towed because they saw it was a nice car and assumed that I would afford the $500 charge without a problem. The reason i say this is Because I have seen several cars that are probably $500 worth parked on the same area and all that they received was a warning not to park there I never received a warning or nothing my car just got towed the next day after 11 hours I went to go pick my car up and I was being convinced that those 11 hours would account for 2 "nights" It felt so wrong buri still paid and took my car. I went home and did research go find out that what they tried to do was illegal in the state of California. Because no to win company is to charge anyone 2 nights if the car was picked up on time. Great service! My car blew a tire on 80 outside Dixon and I totally panicked but two techs were able to come to my rescue in a little over an hour. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job. They even gave me a recommendation for a tire shop that was open late so I could get a new set of tires ASAP! My only complaint is they weren't wearing masks, but they were mindful and kept their distance unless absolutely necessary. read more
