Mediocre service, management isn't great. Foods hit or miss. Some days the burgers awesome more days it's over cooked. Nothing's consistent. Not a bad spot to go to just not great either. read more

I have close to a million dollar yacht at the Everett Marina and went in for a drink and something small to eat and after my second drink, a lady named Deb at the bar cut me off and I'm only assuming it's because wild summer nights and because of my age because I'm so young, but then when I went in a week later, a girl name Lisa wouldn't even let me sit down and asked me to leave the restaurant, probably because I didn't give Debbie a tip. There was no aggression. There was no miss behavior, it was simply because they felt empowered to the point that they can discriminate. I would strongly recommend against this place. I will give two stars solely because I only ordered a cocktail and didn't order any food. I ordered an Old Fashioned. The bartender, let's call her "Liza", claimed to be an Old Fashioned aficionado. She said she made them at home, but what she made me was substandard. I'd like to say this for ALL establishments. If you don't serve a traditional Old Fashioned, the way it's supposed to be made, don't serve it! What Liza served me was trash! I didn't even drink it. I paid for it, tipped, and left the drink on the bar! Don't serve a cocktail if you don't know how to make it correctly! I ended up at the a Jetty where Bridgette makes them the right way. Last time I checked, an Old Fashioned isn't made with club soda, and a maraschino cherry. Woodfire...Do better!! read more

I ordered a salad not a head of romaine. I called for take out and specifically asked for extra toppings twice! When I picked it up, I asked again and the hostess said yes there is toppings....I left and now I am Back at work. I open my take out up and am so disappointed. This continues...last week I decided to try them again. I have not heard from anyone other then the generic reaponse. Well, i call in my order, and now they are charging extra for "extra" tomatoes. I have always gotten bred with the order. The tomatoes were soggy/mushing. And in paid extra. Today I called to make a take out order and told the manger who answered the phone that the tomatoes were mushy last week. I started to order a salad and asked for the bread and butter that is always included with my salad, now they want to charge for that too? I asked why, she said that they are losing money by putting extra on the salads. What? Why don't you just make a damn good salad with the right amount of stuff on it and quit charging extra. Inflate tour price a little to cover your loss...minimal loss. I guess you would rather lose me as a customer. Please don't say you are going to reach out and talk to me to make it right. You wanted to paint a picture to the Yelpers who read this that you do do that when you never did. read more

If I could give this review zero stars right now I would. My mom and her best friend went out here last night at 5:00 for her birthday. And HEATHER that worked in the bar area during the happy hour service was HORRIBLE to them. They had a reservation for 5:00 to get the special sunset hour menu and she was giving them the run around to give it to them. Then She was throwing the menus at the table. Throwing their checks on the table. She gave them attitude and was absolutely SO RUDE. When my moms friend asked for a little birthday desert for my mom she said "I can give you a candle" instead of offering desserts and bringing something out. SHE WAS HORRIBLE. She barley spent 1-2 mins at a time at our table. Yet she had no problem serving others of the same race as hers. We complained to the manager and I still feel that was not enough. Going to an establishment like this and getting this kind of service is absolutely disgusting!!! And so disrespectful. I would never go to a restaurant with service like this. And I will make sure all our family and friends know to never go to this place. This was the worst service we have ever received going out for dinner. And MY MOM AND HER FRIEND STILL TIPPED THIS HORRIBLE LADY , because that's the way we are, no matter what. She deserved absolutely nothing , and honestly should be fired after this event. read more

I've been driving by this restaurant for years and finally went tonight. It was Perfect. LeeAnn was our server and she was professional, kind and subtle and smooth. Started with Calamari appetizer and again-- perfectly fried and delicious. Sometimes calamari can be rubbery but this was fresh and tender. We both had the half roasted chicken dinner which came with mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. It was amazing. Every element of the dish was executed deliciously. We are regulars at this location.... this review has nothing to do with the service we received from the bartender, she was awesome, as usual. We do understand the challenges due to COVID, but the quality of our food was horrible. We wished we would have just had a drink and then stopped at McDonald's. My husband ordered the "halibut" and chips.... he has ordered this before. For $23 two frozen looking non flaky filets., like frozen out of a box fish. Worse than tavern bar food. I had a chopped salad..... the lettuce ( romaine) was wet hence watered down the dressing 10 fold. We hope that this business can stay afloat because it's in our neighborhood and we have been coming here for years.... obviously they have cut back on the menu..,,, maybe the kitchen staff needs training? In a nutshell even though we want to support this local business, we can't and will not spend $90 for dinner here again...... not for this value for our dollar. PS we still tipped our bartender/waitperson 20% because it was not her fault. She didn't bring our food out or surely she would have noticed how subpar? Here on business and wanted something light fare and healthy, with great ambiance. The Pacific Northwest has amazing sunsets and definitely did not disappoint. I sat at the back patio. It was the most amazing scenery. I got a glimpse of it while having dinner. I had the seasonal peach mixed greens with trout salad, hazelnut, and the best vinegarette dressing.. I ate it all up. Haven't been here for a while, decided to give the happy hour a try. The happy hour menu looked great. It took a long time to get any service. There was only 2 servers for a fully packed bar. Every table was full. Food was ok. Our server kept apologizing for the wait with drinks/food. He was clearly overwhelmed but he did the best he could. Unfortunately seems to be a common experience with dining out these days. Maybe next time we will try sitting in the dining area vs bar. read more

My family and I enjoyed a nice evening at Woody's! We have two little ones, so it was great to not be confined to a booth or table while we waited for our food. It all came out pretty quick. The kitchen window where you order peeks in to the kitchen of the main restaurant, so you're getting the same great food. I wish they had one or two more things on the menu, or a smaller plate for kiddos, but otherwise it's a perfect summer dinner spot with picturesque views of the marina! read more

We went here because Anthony's Homeport could not accommodate us (a two hour wait due to staffing issues). We did not like the food, limited menu, prices or atmosphere. We sat in the bar to avoid a wait and it has the atmosphere of a cafeteria. The service was slow because the waitress doubled as the bartender for the entire restaurant. Menu choices consisted of one soup choice (not chowder), half a roasted chicken, two types of panko breaded fish n' chips, some salads, and expensive steak. We had the steak and it was OK (not particularly tender and a bit too salry). My husband's came with roasted potatoes which were unevenly cut so the big pieces weren't completely cooked. The green beans were tough and undercooked. We won't go back! read more

Good menu and reasonably priced. Service was exceptional. The restaurant is clean and welcoming with a great view.

We went here tonight and had such a great time, arriving at 8pm there was plenty of open seating. We got a seat by the window overlooking the marina and the local peach drinks were to die for. We got an appetizer (steak tenderloin strips) and the paella dinner for two. The dinner for two was incredible, seasoned very well, all the right textures. They were out of clams but made up for it with an abundance of prawns, rockfish and chorizo. Afterwords we enjoyed a stroll on the docks and it was a beautiful night! read more

Went here for the first time for a birthday dinner. As long as I have lived in the area I had never been. The atmosphere is good. The view is even better. Even though there were a lot of people it did not feel crowded. The downside is it is very loud. Hard to hear wait staff and have a conversation across a 2 person table. Not a place for a quiet romantic dinner. The service was good. Reservations were for 6:30 arrived about 5 minutes early and seated two or three minutes after our reservation. Our waitress was attentive but not too attentive. Very friendly. I've been next door to Anthony's numerous times so I was confident the food would be good. I was pleasantly surprised that it was better than good. My wife had the BBQ chicken pizza. The crust had good flavor and chew to it. Toppings were plentiful. It was just a bit dry could have had a little more sauce on it or a swirl of BBQ sauce over the top for service other than that a real solid pie. I started with the shrimp cocktail. Great flavor, it had that horseradish hit you want in a shrimp cocktail. The only criticism would be to use bigger/more shrimp and smaller dice/less celery. It was boarder line a celery cocktail with some shrimp. The star of the night was the romaine wedge with blue cheese and hazelnuts. Never would I have thought hazelnuts would go with blue cheese. But it works and it works fabulously. The hazelnuts bump up the nuttiness of the blue cheese which plays off the bitterness of the romaine. And when you get that bite with the hazelnut, crumbled blue cheese, and lettuce it's magical. I would put a few slices of tomato than a couple of little cherry tomatoes but I really like tomatoes. I'll be back just for that salad. My entre was the Wagyu sirloin. It came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The mashed potatoes were good, not too much butter, and salted just right. The broccoli was cooked great. It still had some bite to it but was not crunchy and not mushy. My steak was cooked perfectly. I'm a rib steak guy. But this Wagyu sirloin had great flavor was not tough and had a good char on it that added to the flavor. I have had steaks that were twice the price and was not as impressed with those as I was with this one. I'll go back for this one again also. The prices here I have to say are really good for what you get. We like to splurge once or twice a year and go to one of the "well" known and pricier steak houses in Seattle/Bellevue. We spent less on our entire meal here than just what my steak cost in Seattle. This is an easy once-a-month night out kinda place. We will be back. read more

We eat here a lot. Like 1 to 2 times a week. Happy hour has the best price. But tonight was not a good night. Waited 15 min just to be asked would we like a drink. Finally after watching a woman pickup other checks and go around us at least 4 times. A guy showed up and asked can I get you a drink? No how are you. He even helped the woman next to me. His name was Micheal, tall dark hair man. He even helped two older guys at the bar find there favorite sports channel before helping us. Our family has frequented this establishment--specifically, the area by the windows below the bar, where anyone could enjoy the happy hour menu--for about 20 years. But today we couldn't do that. Apparently, they've remodeled, and now that section is 21 and over, only. I'm as bothered by screaming kids running around as the next person, but we never encountered that here. So, why the change? As we only came here for the happy hour, and we usually have our teenager with us, will be unlikely to return. If this wasn't an issue, I'd rate it 3 stars. read more

Visited this restaurant before, our first visit we had the chicken and it was VERY dry and our waitress had an attitude. It's been a couple months and we visited again a much better experience this time. The food was yummy and our waitress was sweet. Only thing is don't go on a game night. The BBQ chicken pizza was sadly light on the chicken, the French fries on all dishes were really salty and the fish with the fish & chips were pretty small. Also My Diet Coke was $3.25! Woodfire Grill Saw the rating but didn't read them. What I would say, the prices are not a value. $15 for a hamburger (Wagyu or not) is not a value. Burger, for the size was ok, with good portions of condiments. Ordered French dip, no horseradish, they independently added mayo, what!?!? Side salad was the main value because one of our party was not paying $15 for a burger, even though the hotel recommended this place for burgers, our bad for listening. Should have seen the menu before hand and or turned around at the door/menu viewing. Main reasons for the 3 rating! Been an Anthony's fan for years, living in Edmonds with the main restaurant & the Beach Cafe. Second time at the Woodfire Grill in Everett and totally underwhelmed. The place had one 12 person party plus six of us & it was probably 50-60 minutes from seating to eating. I know prices at restaurants are through the roof, but this was a birthday lunch & I was ( mildly ) prepared to make it a nice experience. So I paid for four & my sis paid for two. First of all the lunch menu is very small with only two, maybe three seafood choices, odd for a seafood restaurant. So for a shared wedge salad, two 10' flatbreads, a bland pesto pasta dish & a 3 piece fish & chips ( + iced tee & one Lemon Drop) it came to $ 160 after tax & tip. Normally I don't complain about prices, but two of my three pieces of fish were no bigger than a cigar. So probably done with the Woodfire Grill. Maybe dinner there is better. read more

Nice waitress, slow service, multiple mistakes, and multiple promises that were not fulfilled. Food came out cold for all five of our meals. Took over 2 hours for the whole experience. The waitress was apathetically apologizing the the table next to us as well so there were obviously issues all around. We're fans of the regular Anthony's but will not come back to the Woodfire Grill. read more
