Eh, it's an okay place. The food was decent, service was a tad slow, and yet friendly, and seating was awkward and uncomfortable (hard chairs). There are tables and booths spread throughout three different rooms, which is a bit odd. If you are looking for a home style restaurant, family run, old school vibe, exceptional service and good food I highly recommend Fanny's!!! We came right in time before the line was literally out the door when we left!! All the staff are super friendly, service is quick and food is delicious!!! I had a Taco omelette with hash browns, your have choice of hash browns or Fanny fries. Also comes with toast or biscuit. There are also substitutions if you don't want any of the items which is a cool idea!! The only negative thing I have it was a lot of egg for the omelette so I opened it up and just eat half. Eggs were cooked through and fluffy to much for my liking but others might enjoy!! Lots of flavors in the omelette and hash browns came crispy just how I like them!! My bf ordered Club croissant and added cabbage soup!! He said the soup was delicious and you can tell it was homemade with lots of flavors. The cooking fat should be fresher. Nuts and craisins should be served with the oatmeal. Blueberry pancakes should be on the menu regularly. French toast could include cinnamon and vanilla. Crepes suzette would be a great addition to the menu. Ambience is too loud when tables are full. Service is great. read more

We were traveling through Marysville and wanted to take advantage of opportunity to see some family members. Fanny's did a fantastic job of accommodating what turned out to be a large group for breakfast. I made the initial reservation, and others called in to add more people. They put us in the back dining room, where we could visit without disturbing other guests. Wait staff was very helpful and patient. They managed multiple checks without seeming ease. Amazingly, the food was all delivered within a short window, so we could all eat together. They made us feel comfortable and cozy, making it possible for a great visit with loved ones. read more

The restaurant is an old timey kind of place. The staff is very nice and friendly, immediately greeted. The restaurant does have a bit of an old smell to it. I didn't notice it until I was sat at my table. I ordered the two egg breakfast with Fanny potatoes turkey sausage patty and one pancake. I asked for my eggs to be scrambled soft with LIGHT cheese however the cheese pull on these eggs was crazy. I thought the eggs and potatoes lacked seasonings - even the basic salt and pepper. My turkey sausage was burnt on one side (it was served on the side that wasn't burnt) and wasn't even hot in temperature when it arrived to the table. The pancake was just not very tasty. One thing they did absolutely correct was serve hot syrup. I love when restaurants do that. Overall, I did have a good experience but did not enjoy the food one bit. For that reason I would not return for breakfast and would be really hesitant to even try their lunch items as well. read more

I waited 24 hours to post this review because I was pretty upset when I left. I didn't want to fly off the handle. I wanted to voice my opinion but not attack. My daughter was so looking forward to treating me and her grandmother-in-law to a nice sit down meal for Mother's Day and I feel like everyone should know that it could have gone much better. Also it should be said that if it were just one issue, I would not be posting anything. But because there were so many things that went sideways, I can't help but say something. Food: Mediocre. They switched my order with another patrons order. I ended up with the hash browns that tasted like oil with a yucky after taste, instead of potatoes. I took 3 bites of it and couldn't eat any more, it was gross. Service: There were SO many things that were unsettling. First when we arrived they gave away our table and made us wait. When we asked how long the wait would be they wouldn't give us a time. The next set of customers came in and asked the same question and they said 15 minutes for their party of a different size. There is a sign in the lobby that says "be nice or leave" and the hostess was not very nice to my daughter who had informed them we were coming twice (they don't do reservations) The first time we informed them we were coming was in the middle of the week and the second time was 30 min before we arrived. She was so looking forward to a fun Mother's Day brunch with me and her grandmother-in-law. Eventually, when we were leaving the hostess did apologize to my daughter. Ambiance: This was the first time I had ever been to this establishment. When I walked into the place, I thought it was weird that there was SO much open space. If there was more tables and chairs there wouldn't be as big of wait time as we had. Also it wasn't just in one room. They have 3 rooms and they don't utilize the space efficiently or effectively. I get that there were some larger parties that day, but still, there was space to be used in a more productive and accomplished way to make both business and patrons both happy at the end of the day. read more

Very sweet breakfast and lunch place. Surprised they don't have longer hours! We enjoyed the clam chowder (nice pieces of clams), the French dip (big, though almost too much roll), and two deli sandwiches. I had the roast beef and cheddar. Had it on a lovely whole wheat bread with crunchy lettuce and onion and a tomato that tasted like tomato. It really was a perfect deli sandwich. I had it with Cole slaw as my side. It was simple but good. Another had a turkey sandwich, also enjoyed. She had the fries - nice and crispy, some of the best fries we've had in a while. The place is nice, and really clean. I've become a regular here over the past year. I love coming here and grabbing breakfast. The ladies that work at Fanny's are so nice and happily interact with you every time. It can be so difficult to find a restaurant with consistently good service- even when it's packed. They have many lunch options, a special once a week, and house made soups that are amazing! The breakfast options aren't as vast as ihop or Patty's Eggsnest, but they do have things like a seafood benedict (order your English muffins extra toasted and for your potatoes choose Fanny fries + diced pepper & onion). They also have beer and mimosa options! It's a nice family owned spot. Definitely feels good supporting local too! We went to Fanny's for the first time in many years, due largely to the fact that we rarely go out for breakfast. We honestly weren't sure they were still open, since there hadn't been any advertising in a long time until recently, but they definitely are open for breakfast and lunch. They have retained their license to serve beer and wine after closing a brewpub facility in the backroom a while ago, so customers can get a beer with lunch. Service was about as close to perfect as it gets, i.e. attentive without being too much. We thought the menu was pretty extensive and my omelet and husband's scrambled eggs with ham and sides were obviously scratch made with large portions. The home fries (Fanny fries) are some of the best I've had and they made the hashbrowns crispy as requested. Coffee was good quality and they came around frequently for refills. It sure was nice getting something other than "mixed fruit" jelly and I got honey for my fluffy biscuit. Extra points for having the green hot sauce, turkey sausage option, and the policy of allowing split plates. They also have smaller portions for less money. All the food going by us looked good and the size of the juice glasses was generous. There is lots of parking and the place has plenty of tables even to accommodate larger groups. I've been wanting to try Fanny's for awhile now and finally got to dine-in yesterday. I was surprised how spacious the restaurant is.. love how the tables are spread out. Our server was very attentive and welcoming. She checked up on us several times and my coffee was quickly refilled without me having to flag someone down. The menu was kind of overwhelming.. so many options! I appreciate the small plate options for those who can never finish a whole meal. Affordable too at around $10/meal! Bacon was crispy and delicious, hash browns were crisp to perfection. Syrup was warm, and my favorite were their pancakes. So fluffy! The service from the time we walked in the door through when we paid our bills was simply outstanding. The servers worked as a team which was refreshing. When one came with water she hit multiple tables. Food was good, prices were competitive, value overall was great! This will become our regular meeting spot for our group as a result. My aunt brought us to breakfast here Memorial Day morning and it was worth the drive from Lynnwood to Marysville! The staff is pleasant, the atmosphere is family morning breakfast meets local bar taste backroom. They have a long tap list of beers they carry, it was too early for a beer but it's nice to know you have options! My family goes to Fanny's regularly for brunch. The food is great, a fabulous staff, and reasonable prices.

Small line out front, popular spot for the after church group as well as the after kids sports crowd. We came here as part of the after-casino crowd, just slightly hung over. We had been here one time in the past, several years ago, but we recognized it as we pulled in. Hostesses and waitstaff are very polite and efficient. Decaf coffee was hot and good. Also ordered a breakfast tea. Both wife and I ordered bacon and eggs with hash browns. Just darn good food. Nothing fancy here but, pretty solid and decent price. I would probably say food and decor are worth a good solid 3 to 3-1/2 stars....waitstaff and kitchen efficiency and speed of service took me up to 4 stars. And of course, during our entire breakfast, I was signing "The Weight" by The Band......"take a load off Fanny, take a load free.
