The young woman who bussed our table was top notch, offering better customer service than anyone else on staff that night and far beyond our actual waitperson. Apparently there is no point in making a reservation. We had to wait for a table despite having made a reservation, which brings this restaurant down to the level of fast food or greasy-spoon diner - very disappointing. I see this as a huge failure of management. If someone arrives on time for their reservation, they should be seated immediately, no excuses. Failing this shows a complete disregard for and disrespect of the customer. It is a reservation, not a general comment that we might arrive. Kudos to the chef(s) for very good food and to the busser who seemed to grasp customer service better than others. It was good, nothing to write home about though. The salmon was DELICIOUS, and the veggies were nicely roasted. However the crab cakes were kind of mid, and the rice pilaf too. The coconut prawn was very tasty but they only give 4. I had a mojito, and it was ok. Again, not bad, but not great. Decided to have happy hour at the bar. Have always been there for dinner. However, first time for happy hour. It wasn't a disappointment. We ordered several appetizers and I ordered a burger. Came in with a party of 5 for dinner last week to celebrate my mom's birthday. I requested a table with a pretty view, and even though we were 30 mins late for our reservation, we were thankfully accommodated and given a window table with a glorious view of the Puget Sound at sunset. Customer service gets 5 stars! Our server--the hostess told me his name was Joshua, older gentleman with curly silver hair--was an absolute delight. He was so helpful and friendly and a total professional. He kept our glasses filled, the bread basket full, and bonus points for bringing more butter (you have to beg other restaurants for more butter usually). What I appreciated most was when my autistic child didn't want to eat his meal because the restaurant didn't have bbq sauce, Joshua suggested I walk next door to Anthony's Woodfire and ask for it there. They were kind enough to give me some bbq sauce and save the day--or at least our meal. 4 stars because the portions were not overly generous. My hubby was grumpy that he paid $33 for a piece of some specific type of salmon that was the same size as our daughter's kids meal salmon which cost half as much. He said, for the price, he would have rather bought himself 2 kids salmon plates and walk out of there with a full belly. I enjoyed my miso black cod, but again, it wasn't a large serving and the slaw was bordering on too salty from too much soy sauce, and I'm someone who doesn't shy away from salt. I decided to go to Anthony's for my birthday dinner since the original place I had in mind was closed. When you think of a quality meal in the Northwest and you love seafood, Anthony's often comes to mind. Family-owned and a staple in the Northwest for decades, Anthony's never disappoints. We started with the calamari as an appetizer, which was delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the Double R Ranch top sirloin with a half chilled Dungeness crab, and added a side of grilled shrimp. Everything came out perfect, as expected from any Anthony's location. I've visited this location several times in the past for dinner, happy hour, and even the neighboring Anthony's Woodfire Grill. I really enjoy this location because it sits right on the marina, offering a lovely view of the boats. Only came for dessert! We were specifically looking for creme brûlée. Lovely server, very nice and attentive. Restaurant has a nice ambiance. I would come back here to try dinner next time. However, creme brûlée was not that great. The custard part was creamy and has good flavor, but too sweet. What really disappointed was the sugar topping. It was crystallized. It seems like this was premade and the sugar was left on top for a while before torching it. So it left a chewy film on the custard and the top was grainy instead of one smooth piece of crunchy caramel. Another friend chose the Bailey's mousse which was very good if you love Bailey's and chocolate flavor. It had a strong flavor and perfect mousse consistency. read more

Went there for Father's Day brunch so I can't speak on the dinner menu! Most of us got variations of omelettes, some got the Benedict. Everyone loved what they got. The potatoes were especially delicious and the fresh fruit was a nice touch but my strawberry was moldy haha. They had a raspberry chocolate thing for free for Father's Day dessert and that was really good, very fresh. The view is also nice. The waitress was super sweet, but it did take absolutely forever for anything (the food, the check, etc). It was pretty busy though! In short Fantastic setting, and the food is done very well, even if this is not the place to come try something you've never heard of. Everything was lightning fast and the kids on staff are so friendly and nice. In long Our mom would have been 82 this week, and that woman loved fish and chips with a fiery passion for the entire time we knew her. So when my sister came up for a visit this weekend, we planned on F&C as a celebratory meal. I went round and round on where to go, and we ended up messing up the timing on another spot. This place could not have suited the occasion any better than it did, so it's kinda like this is where we were meant to come all along. We wandered straight in to an empty host station at 3:30, with maybe 10-20 tables sat on a sparklingly beautiful July Saturday. We were on our way to a window table within about 3 minutes. The menu comes in a sturdy bound folder, with a drinks list standing on the table. The specials looked pretty rad--sockeye, rainbow trout, scallops, half a dozen other things everyone loves (if they like seafood). Made it tough to stick to the plan! People like me love to go around chasing new ideas or stuff that's just getting popular, but there's a reason why places like this stay in business for decades even with dining rooms that seat 200+. Yeah, it's a ton of older folks and family special occasions, but the food is *good*. You can keep coming back even if you're not the one in the group to suggest it. We all got fish and chips. My sis' beau, who grew up in NOLA, had had fried fish dozens of times in his life, but today was his first f&c. He loved it. I went through the drinks list to verify that they had iced tea, and we all got hooked on the idea of mocktails, too. Table bread They bring warm sourdough out, complimentary. So good. Rich tart smell wafting around the table. Crispy crust, chewy crumb. Fresh butter with herb sprigs. Clam chowder Thick broth, needed pepper but good seasoning. Decent amount of clams. $9 for a little cup is kind of a lot but it's clearly scratch-made and I love this as a treat when I cheat on my diet. F&C Solid cod with moderate breading, good toasty flavor to the crumbs. Nice fresh white fish. Fries were kindy thick but cooked perfectly, and I finished them. Cole slaw is a little sweet and has slivers of wonton crisps in it--nice touch. Mocktails We each looked at the list and each instantly found one we wanted. Cran Lime Spritz was more tart than sweet, light bubbles, very refreshing. My future brother-in-law loved his Arnold Palmer so much he got two. Fresh lime on top--it's an actual concoction, not just a mixer. The Nojito had toooons of lime, ginger, and mint. Big flavors, super refreshing. Berry shortcake We got it with 3 spoons 'cause we were getting full. Cake itself was a tiny bit dry, but soaked up lots of berry juices. Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and enormous blackberries. I kinda prefer mountain blackberries to these huge Himalayan ones, but the tannic bitterness was nice enough with the sweet sauce and whipped cream. Sis paid, so I don't know where we ended up on the bill. Our hosts, server, and expos were all so damn nice, though. Quick to chat a bit, and everything seemed to come out practically as soon as we ordered it. That's one nice thing about coming in at 3:30--they have full dinner staff in front and back, but not many seats filled yet. We loved everything about this experience. I've lived near one Anthony's or another pretty much my whole life, and this is maybe my 2nd or 3rd visit. I need to come in here more often when I feel like looking right at the water. read more

I was in Everett and decided to stop in at Anthony's for lunch. I've eaten at other locations before, but it had been a while so I've looked up their menu online just to make sure of the prices and the menu items. When I was seated, I was handed a brunch menu. It was just after noon. I asked if they had their lunch menu because that's what I had viewed online. The hostess came up to ha menu and told me I couldn't order off of it for another hour and a half so I asked her just to leave me with the menu that I had. When it came time to order, I asked the waitress about lunch menu and she said that they should be able to make me whatever I wanted off the lunch menu, but she needed to check with the kitchen. So I opted for the blue cheese and shrimp and tomato house salad. That was very good, but given the fact that tomato is used in the title to describe the salad. There was one and a half cherry tomatoes on the salad that's it. I also opted for the shrimp, crab and artichoke dip that was really good little greasy that is supposed to feed too in a really small ramekin bowl. When it came time to get my bill, the price for the crab and artichoke dip was vastly different from what they had on their website. I asked the waitress about it and she went and got the manager. I showed the manager what I've been looking at online and he said that wasn't their menu that it was Google's menu so then I looked up their menu again on their website and there is still a price discrepancy. He offered to take a little bit off and acted absolutely offended having to do so. I paid the full price you'll see the screenshots from the Google menu their menu and what I was charged. I was never handed a menu in the restaurant after I decided to order from the lunch menu to see the prices and quite frankly the crab an artichoke dip was not worth $28. Service was horribly slow I had to track down the waitress several times just to even get a water refill. She was super friendly, but just absolutely was awful with the service. Dinner was ok. It has been a few years since I have been here and was underwhelmed. I ordered the Clam Chowder, was good, to be expected. Dinner was the Surf and Turf special. Small steak with a big grain of grisl. The accompaniment was scallops, were tiny and no char...sad. No flavor! They were also hard to spot within the potatoes. I got 4 small scallops. Celebrated my mother's birthday today by taking her here. We will not be back. First, my husband got the Fisherman's scramble and has been sick all day since we left the restaurant. My daughter had stomach cramps during brunch and had to leave. My other daughter couldn't finish her meal because it was undercooked with the eggs being runny but ordered over hard . The waitress was nice but would come out of nowhere and take plates. The bacon was overcooked and hard. The cantaloupe was flavorless and hard. Potatoes were extra soft or extremely crunchy. My husband was still eating when the waitress took his plate without asking. In hindsight, she did him a favor but at the time, we were surprised because he wasn't asked if he was done. It was Sunday brunch and most of us got breakfast. The potatoes were odd. Probably frozen previously. The bacon was salty. The breakfast was comparable to a hotel style buffet breakfast. Low quality food. My eggs were cooked correct but obviously sat under a warmer. My daughters were ordered like mine but not cooked to request so she did not eat them. My other daughter had stomach cramps during breakfast. 2/5 were sick the rest of the day. The Shirley temple was weird and diet coke is what it is. The mimosa was weak. We did get a window seat, which was nice. Our experience has been consistently inconsistent over many years. There are so many nice and newer restaurants nearby and in hindsight I should have reserved with them. However, Anthony's has had a great reputation so we went there but will no longer as there are so many restaurants to go to and this restaurant is inconsistent. Consistency is key and many restaurants in the same area repeatedly hit the mark. This will no longer be our go to. read more

The last few visit of Anthony's has been impressive. I don't really recall their food being that great... We had the halibut and scallop specials in November. Extremely fresh and delicious. Another visit we had their crab dinner. All tasty and a nice dinner with family. Service both visit was a little slow and lackluster but the food was good. I came to Anthony's HomePort in Everett today, Sunday 3 March 2024, with my family to celebrate my grandma's 93rd birthday. Parking was located close to the entrance and both stair and ramp access were available to get to the main entrance. We arrived to find my grandma and aunt waiting inside the front entrance in a waiting area. We were taken to a table large enough to sit all of us (me, my grandma, my brother-in-law, my sister, my aunt, my dad, and my mom). Depending on where one sat at the table, one was either looking out window(s) (which included a view of the water) or towards the restaurant interior. My seat looked towards a television screen in the bar area that played 2016 Star Wars film "Rogue One" as we ate. We took our time in ordering, and there was a little bit of a wait for the drinks that were ordered. After the drinks came the complementary brunch bread basket consisting of blueberry coffee cake and cinnamon butter. Our entrees were forthcoming after the drinks and bread basket. I went with an order of French toast that included four half-slices of French toast (brioche bread) with ginger syrup, two pieces of bacon, and fruit (cantaloupe, strawberry, and pineapple). I ate all of my toast and bacon. The use of eggs in the toast came through and helped temper the sweetness of the bread and syrup. After the entrees, we got a slice of cheesecake (came with a cherry topping) that they even brought out with a few candles for grandma. We sang "Happy Birthday" as the solitary slice was walked out. We passed it round the table to share and were all so full there was a wee bit of the slice leftover even after we all had one or more bites. We stopped here for lunch on the way to Bellingham. We were able to get a seat by a window so we could overlook the bay. The ambiance is upscale and modern, very open and lots of tables that with water views. The lunch menu was a bit limited in my opinion but we were able to find something that was intriguing. I had the shrimp and blue cheese salad but it takes a lot of courage to make the claim "with shrimp" because I got about a teaspoon of shrimp, and they were the baby shrimp so I did not really feel that was truth in advertising. But it was a good salad, a bit overdressed, but I finished it. There were a few pieces of real blue cheese but most of it was dressing. The wife had the Caesar salad and enjoyed it. For entrees, the kid had the fish and chips. The cod filets were whole pieces and not minced. It came with fries and they were cooked perfectly, crispy on outside and soft inside. She liked it. The wife had the shrimp tempura and they were very good. I ate her onion ring and it was very good. The ginger salad was very tasty. I had the cod filets (2) which also came with fries and ginger salad. The cod was fresh and had no fishy taste or smell. The cod filets were not heavily breaded, not greasy, and cooked to perfection. Light and delicate. I enjoyed it a lot. It was basically exactly the same meal as the kid's fish and chips but at double the price. Our server Larry was professional and efficient. No complaints. Went here for my fiancés mom's 90th birthday! We were seated at a beautiful waterfront table, was able to watch the seals & boats as we waited for the rest of our party! Joshua H THE BEST DAMN WAITER IN THE WORLD, came over & welcomed us! We told him about the birthday & he said "I gotcha girl, I will take care of it & make it the best birthday ever for her". I just wanted to jump up & hug him!! He gave fabulous recommendations on wines to pair with our appetizers & entrees, NEVER did we need to ask for more water or bread..he kept it going! My seafood fettuccine was amazing! Good tasting Alfredo sauce. Tons of clams, scallops, mussels & prawns. My fiancés crab cakes were amazing as well! Gorgeous views right over the water! The island can be seen across the water, and it's beautiful at nights with all the lights. We were served by fine dining waiters and waitresses. Great recommendations were made for wine pairings. We got some oysters, and they were very small but delicious. The scallops I got were also very very tiny, but the dish had a large quantity of them, so my fill for oysters was satisfied. This place also comes with bread and butter, and the bread was fluffy and tasted great with the melted butter. This restaurant is fine dining and serves seafood, so do expect to spend a bit of money on dinner. The experience was great and fit the celebration for work. Took my family for our 17year anniversary, got there 20 minutes before our reservation and only had to wait about 5 minutes before being seated. Our server was great! Attentive but not overbearing, didn't feel rushed. The food was top notch! Started with the stuffed mushrooms and a dozen oysters, the mushrooms were delicious I could make a meal off those alone the oysters were local and awesome. For the main dish we all had steak and lobster, the wife and I had the ribeye and my son had the top sirloin all were cooked to perfection (medium rare), and the lobster was amazing .
