I found a dress online and i call the store to see if they carry it. They held it and gave me the mothers day special because i couldn't make it to alamona that day. Store is pretty with alot of intresting things. Pretty pricey but its worth it. Good customer service especially lady in the fitting rooms. Forgot her name but she was helpful. I bought several candle on Thursday, at Ala Moana Manager couldn't find my account either my phone number and email. I don't have the receipt to turn a candle that's not light up well. I wouldn't recommend to purchase anything from them. i hope they other candle that I bought will work. read more

I've loved everything about Anthropologie since I visited their store in Seattle and of course when I heard they were bringing a store here to Hawaii I freaked out big time. When i first walked into the store I was immediately drawn to their home decor area right off to your right that you can view from their window display. The store visuals look just like it they do in their magazines and on their website! I had no idea how large this store was once I began walking the floor. Lots of great products to explore. The items do come with a hefty price tag, but they do offer Sale areas for items discounted around 10-20% off near the back. I recommend getting lost in here and just letting the story and beauty of what they offer inspire you. I couldn't leave without buying a few tops and a Kinfolk magazine (yay they sell Kinfolk here!). The sales associates on the floor are pretty touch and go and will offer to start a room for you if you have a handful of clothes in your hands, the dressing room attendant I had was very nice and did a great job of checking up on everyone without being too pushy, and the cashier that checked me out was very nice and pleasant as well. I hope Anthropologie stays at Ala Moana for a very long time because it's one of the few favorite stores at that mall that I would keep coming back to. :) read more

Just wanted to give a shout out to the employees. Everyone is so pleasant and attentive. I had gotten a gift from here and didn't even make it home before breaking my mug and candle. I was so sad I called right away asking if it was possible to bring the broken things back and without hesitation she said, yes of course. I went back the next day and they swapped out my broken gifts. It is always a breath of fresh air when everything about the store and its employees are 5+++ stars ! read more

This store had one of the shortest lines for a grand opening in Hawaii. They had a nice selection of styles and sizes. If you don't see your size, just ask. I grabbed a dress with a tear in the belt, and asked if they had another one in the same size...they did! The sales associates were also very helpful. I'm glad to see Anthropologie in Hawaii, and I hope they stock more clothes in the affordable range. read more

Originally I bought 3 green glasses a month back. I was so impressed I went back and bought 1 green and then 4 white and 4 blue. They are pricey - but beautiful. read more

Seriously the nicest shopgirls ever, more friendly and helpful than anyone in retail in LA, NY, my little town of Marin, anywhere. I always hit this one up when in Honolulu, planning to *just look* - but they have a great petites section and the women who work there are kind and fun and helpful, so I end up with a painfully plentiful haul each time I visit. I have to stop going there but ugh it's so fun! read more

This store is beautifully laid out and very pretty to peruse. However it is so ridiculously overpriced I can not even believe. They had a tea towel in there for $28!!! I have had friends say they have gotten really good deals when things are on sale, but personally I haven't found anything. I went to Anthropologie the day after Black Friday and I'm not sure what their sale was for Black Friday, but the store was still 25% off of everything (yes, including sale items)! I love the layout and atmosphere of the store itself. It feels really homey and welcoming with their kitchen and home decor sections perfectly laid out amongst the clothes. I went in to do some Christmas shopping for family and I found a lot of good deals, especially because I found a lot of sale items I liked and there was the additional 25% off the lowest marked price! Even though the store was busy, there was only one person in front of me waiting in line. The cashier was really nice and helped me get gift receipts and boxes for my gifts. I hope Anthropologie has more great sales as the holidays approach and I will be back to do more shopping damage! read more

Anthropologie is one of my favorite stores that remind me of back home. It's also a great idea to become a member. One of their perks is to send you a birthday discount and alert you with future events such as sales and free shipping. Their clothing is modern, hip and sometimes exclusive. I recently encountered wedding dresses that they sold online. They are definitely branching out. They sell jewelry, home goods, clothing, and shoes. Unfortunately, the price does not always fit my budget. But, when they have sales it's worth a stop and sometimes a purchase;) Its located on the third floor in the ala moana mall. The employees are sweet and helpful. I ended up with a long skirt petite size with their aid. I'm grateful for petite due to my height. Lol read more

I must say the service is great here! Those that work in the dressing room is really helpful. I asked for 2 tops In a different size and bang! It was there! In fact, SHE offered to get the other size so I can try on both to see for myself! Though I had a quote sassy cashier the other day, maybe she had her own issues, the rest of the sales persons really made up for that one bad seed. Definitely will shop there more often! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this store. Customer service is great. I've worked in Retail for years and they immediately greet us, started a fitting room, grabbed me some add ons in my room. The clothes are soooo pretty. Loved that the dresses are lined. They sold more than just clothes. They've got home decor, candles, books, chinaware. Omg. So in love. I swear, I was in there for at least an hour. Came out with two dresses for my engagement photoshoot. First time in there and definitely won't be my last. read more

I guess I had to add one star otherwise I couldn't give a review. I was very disturbed at what transpired as I walked through this Anthropologie store at Ala Moana in Hawaii. As I entered the store not once did a sales staff greet or offer any assistance. Wow they seemed to look through you like you weren't there. However as I walked around the store I realized the staff only greeted and assisted the Haulie customers but ignored, and literally would not look or acknowledge any of the Asian customers along with me. I'm a transplant from California educated and raised in the USA for over 47 years and it really speaks volumes when you think the world has gotten better but instead takes many steps back. It's a shame that some not all Haulie's who live and work here in Hawaii act with such prejudice. I hope this is read by your corporate office on the mainland, and they can hopefully make a difference. Otherwise it would seem this is a corporate statement to show such blatant prejudice. Maybe they should hire other nationalities "Locals" that know how to show the "ALOHA" spirit. Unless Anthropologie is making a statement that they are prejudiced against people of color. I liked a few things but refused to buy anything due to the poor (and that is an understatement) customer service of your sales staff in Hawaii at Ala Moana... Shame on you all read more

I love the clothes, customer service could be better. It seems like it's a hit or miss sometimes. There are days where I can walk in and be greeted by someone in EVERY section. Other days, the sales associates could just glance at you and go back to folding. I had a manager ring me up on a transaction that had 2 dresses on special pricing. When it rang up as original price, I told her that it was on special (I would hope that the manager would know what the specials would be, as it the sign was placed directly on only 2 racks. It was literally just 2 dresses on a special rack in the front. It was no where else in the store.) She discounted one, but not the other. When I pointed it out again, she had already processed my transaction. She seemed irritated when she had to give me a refund on the overcharge. Anthropologie has nice things, but if I am going to be treated like that, I may just go visit Urban Outfitters instead and throw money at them. read more

I've been coming to this store since it practically opened at Ala Moana, and it's become a must-have stop. I've had good and bad experiences (mostly good). I did complain to the manager when one of the SAs gave my very young daughter attitude when cupcakes were offered in the fitting room for a surprise sales event. My daughter didn't make a mess but she was (understandably) vocally enthusiastic about the treats. The manager took my complaint very seriously, expressed deepest apologies & I no longer see that SA. But I write this review because I recently bought earrings among other items and couldn't find them in the bag a few days later! I searched my home, car etc with no success. I had asked the SA at checkout not to wrap them, so they may have been mistakened for a similar pair of earrings I returned at the same time. I called the store to ask if there was a lost or found, or if they knew of a pair of left-behind earrings. The manager, Danae, said "no" but very graciously put aside a pair for me in her office to pick up later. I was very thankful because I had given up the earrings as hopelessly lost. I picked them up a few days later with no problem. I also have a couple more kids now and the SAs are very helpful, even suggesting that I nurse in the nice fitting room area. So the customer service for young moms has definitely improved, which is important because I know a lot of young moms shop there! read more

Love their products but the Ala Moana store has the worst customer service of all Anthropologie stores I've been to. I recommend ordering online if you live in Hawaii. Not only are you inconveniencing them if you have an in store question but they'll put you on hold and forget about you if you phone in to inquire about an item. Good help is hard to find and this is a perfect example. read more

I knew going into this store that most items were overpriced, but they tend to have a nice looking selection. I went in looking for a last minute gift to ship to a friend. I picked out a $20 notebook with a thin cover and as the cashier rang me up, I asked if she could help me remove the price tag. She was very nice and obliged. What made me a bit upset is I got home to realize she only tore off the top layer of the sticker, leaving on some of the paper and all the exposed adhesive. I could live with that and try to fix it, but what really upset me is she also tore off a portion of the cover itself and went ahead and put it in a bag and sent me on my way with a damaged product. Instead of a nice gift, it looks like something I got from the clearance rack. What's worse is I saw almost the exact item in a nicer color in another store downstairs for nearly half the cost. Had I known I was carrying a damaged item, I would have bought a nicer one that came wrapped in plastic. Very disappointed as I have no time to get a proper gift. read more
