So he walked outside and peed in the alley. Ha! Thanks Wilmette Joseph A Banks. Also, they crossed out a $25 price on a three pack of socks and rang it up at $34. I guess when they have a sale they increase prices. The Evanston location was SO much better. We are done shopping here.

We went to make an exchange when we walked in the store only had 1 other person and 4 people working there. We stood around for about 10 minutes waiting for assistance while the staff just walked around the store. They obviously saw us but decided to make us wait. We asked about the exchange and the looked around for a little bit picking out a new sweater. Once we had decided what we were going to exchange we stood by the register waiting about 20 minutes for help, there was one person checking out a customer and the three other employees were just standing and talking. Once we finally got help we were told the manager would have to assist us and were directed to another register. The manager took his sweet time and we waited another 10 minutes while he was talking to another staff member. We were standing about 30 feet in front of his direct line of sight so he clearly saw us waiting. He did apologize for the wait but it did not seem sincere at all. After he rung in our exchange, we owed about 4 cents. He said he would cover that for us since we had to wait.......gee thanks! I would rather have paid the 4 cents than wait 30 minutes to make my exchange! It was more insulting than helpful, 30 minuets of my time is worth much more than 4 cents. The store in the loop is 10x better, the customer service there is great. I will never make the mistake of coming here again. And the loop store apparently gets there stuff in several months before this store. The item we exchanged was purchased from the loop store about 2 months prior, and this store told us they had just got these items in.

My wife and I were greated by Antonio, one of the managers and we spent awhile looking at the various items. Apparently. Rodd & Gunn is a well established and venerable New Zealand company even though it was new to us. I am used to shopping for menswear on Oak Street in Chicago, but I think I have a new supplier in the rotation. My wife spotted a very nice jacket and Antonio immediately secured the correct size for us from the storeroom. It fit very well and I was very tempted to purchase it, but my wife made excuses as to why I shouldn't, so we left empty handed. It turns out that she had aspirations to sneak back and purchase it for my birthday next month! I felt badly ruining her surprise, but a few days later I mentioned ordering it and she decided to take a trip with me to the mall to pick it up. Susan (or Susie- I'm bad with names) helped my wife purchase it for me. Both Susan and Antonio treated us with courtesy, friendliness and helped us make our way around the store. I know I will be back as I noticed some very nice pullover sweaters at a very reasonable cost. I found the prices to be fair, the styles to be current and the quality highly satisfactory. I've been wearing the jacket for a few days and I am very satisfied.

This experience left a bad taste in my mouth as I shared with folks ahead of tonights event at LifeTime Fitness about this event featuring performance apparel. There are some excellent deals to be had. In fact, I just scored a great deal on a long black velvet skirt and a dressy top (needed for my husband's post-holiday holiday work party). Not only were both items heavily discounted, but were an additional 50% off. Got an outfit for $30. And holy vanity sizing, Batman! I gotta give props because this must be the only store on the planet where I fit into an XS petite top (and that top was form-fitting - no old lady look for me!). Whatever size you wear, you're guaranteed to be at least one size smaller here.

So I really liked the freedom they gave me at Madewell even though there weren't that many people in the store. They also have amazing sales! Sometimes they have an additional 40% off sale, where you can snag deals like jeans for $40 and tee shirts for $15. I find that their in-store sales are much cheaper than online. I like to price check when i get home, and sometimes the things i bought at a major discount are full price online (which, of course, makes me feel smug and pleased with myself). Their stuff is such good quality and is so comfortable. Their jeans feel like jeggings but are actually jeans. Also, for petite ladies like myself, their ankle jeans are a great length. There's so many amazing stores going into Plaza de Lago, but all my 14 year out cares about is Love Shack Fancy and she's been eagerly awaiting opening day. When we heard September 19th was the big day she suggested we camp out the night before. Um, no. I did offer to take her to their opening during her school at school, but then we scored an invite to their VIP grand opening the evening before...I told her to invite a few friends and let's shop! I think the girls spent more time making tiktoks and taking pics than shopping, but my wallet was OK with that. However, we did spend a lot of time admiring all the frilly adorable clothes...and purchased a few things. i liked that they had a few Chicago items for sale such as bracelets and a sweatshirt to make it special/different from over LSF stores. All the sales associates there couldn't be more friendly whether they were visiting from other stores (we saw a few that helped us in Greenwich during our last visit!) or will be working there full-time (shout out to Carly who was very friendly to my daughter and her friends). Everyone in the store, whether they worked there or visiting, was dressed to impress in LSF and while i usually find it to be a younger brand definitely found myself admiring some things for myself. I have a feeling we'll be back a lot, although i think my 14 year old is going to need a job with this just 15 minutes from our house!

That's not on the store. That's not on the staff. That is strictly on the customers. But highly recommend the store and the sales staff, and the merchandise. Absolutely beautiful.

Stark difference to how I was treated at Lululemon who refused to refund a PayPal purchase and did it with a horrible attitude(refer to my previous review). For the pants themselves - I love the material and have been wearing the elevation pants nonstop since I got them. They can't be passed off as dress pants tho if that's what you are looking for. I returned a pair of Halo essential as the lighter color did not look as flattering.
