I love that they have many of the pretty things I've seen online, especially petite dresses, compared to other stores I've been to. Unfortunately, their customer service was poor except for a lady that I think works in the fitting room or helps to put back the clothes around the store; I know I arrive at the store at 7:40 p.m., and the fitting rooms close 15 minutes before that. So I had to shop several dresses and the people at the register were not happy despite the fact that even help them to take out the hangers. Anyway I expected at least an apology that fitting rooms close early but it was okey for me to shop all the dress I wanted to try and of course that I had to return since I only kept one. I. Return all the dress I didn't want at the Reston location were all the employees are so nice and I apologize and explain them the reason of the huge return I did. I only kept one dress exactly the one I saw online. I am so glad I went to the store because it runs large, I am normally a S petite but the XS Petite fitted perfect for me the XXS petite was to small. I had so many compliments about my dress at the two parties I attended that day.

Absolutely love their home section. Much larger than any other store I've been to

This is the nicest Anthropologie I have ever been to. It has three entire floors of stuff and the selection is fantastic. If you are rich AF you can probably have a great time here. I, on the other hand, am not financially capable of dropping fat stacks on everything in this store, even though I want to. Really love their home section and that merchandise tends to be a little bit more reasonably priced. Honestly though, I think I could probably just sit in this store and bask in their delicious-smelling candles for an afternoon, not buy anything, and be totally content.

They finally re-opened after a long renovation and I can see where all the effort went! They now have full 3 floors, with the last one serving as a home/design concept store where if you can afford $$$ they wrap your home in a dream. I wandered there for half an hour, wishing I could get lost in this space - everything is just so beautiful, thoughtful, smart, boho 'used'. Too bad lots of small finishing touches and pieces were not for sale, but many seems like a doable DYI project for a day! Lots and lots of inspiration! The clothing floors also went through some changes and they shifted bhldn to the bottom floor and added a whole new wellness section. The layout feels a bit odd with lots of free space, but they are probably still figuring it out.

Went to BHLDN here and had an AMAZING experience. I truly could not recommend it more highly!! Naima was my attendant and she was nothing short of FAB-U-LOUS. she had a great sense for what I liked, did an amazing job pulling dresses that I didn't even think I would look as great in as I did, and was really kind about finding flattering fits that did not showcase parts of my body I wasn't thrilled with. She found tons of accessories that added so much glam and were in my budget. All of this she did after my mother, girls, and I showed up very late for our appointment soaking wet during the deluge that engulfed Georgetown the 30min before my appointment. It was brutal and she was an absolute saint. So why do I love BHLDN? Let me name the ways! 1) Naima. Period. Done. I should stop the review there. 2) Pressure free bridal shopping experience. Never once did I get the "if you don't buy today this dress will turn into a pumpkin!" speech so many shops are fond of. I was given options and full range to think about what worked best for me. That alone made me want to say yes to a BHLDN dress. 3) Beautiful and comfortably private viewing space. I love how the dressing rooms are in the back where you go with the attendant but when you come out you move to another area with private mirrors and seating for your crew. Mini champagnes add to the classiness for everyone. The lightning was very flattering. A bit yellow in photos but Igor over that fast! 4) Ability to take pictures and videos as much as you like. It's mind boggling that so many places don't do it for fear you'll find the dress elsewhere. BHLDN doesn't have that anxiety given many dresses are exclusive and that means you get much needed time to snap shots and think about what you want to come back to, show friends and family, or ultimately buy in store or online. Which brings me to the last point... 5) Options to buy! You can get your dress in shop ordered, ordered from another shop if needed or online. I love that that is possible even though I will be trekking back from NYC to DC to buy just to make sure the Georgetown shop gets my sale. It's just fortunate for me I have family in the area. But really that flexibility is clutch. I would add the affordability of their dresses but I think everyone knows that because that's why most of us end up here. I had a MAGICAL experience and absolutely cannot recommend this BHLDN more. I want to get married again just to go back!!

I need to report an extremely disturbing experience at a Nordstrom Rack store during a recent visit…read morewith my husband. We were shopping for outfits for our son's graduation, which should have been a positive and memorable occasion. Instead, I was subjected to unprofessional, confrontational, and ultimately abusive behavior by a fitting room associate. Upon approaching the fitting room, I followed the associate's directions regarding where to place my cart, although her instructions were inconsistent and unclear. Inside the dressing room, I found a shirt that had been left behind by a previous customer. After trying on approximately seven items, I returned them to hangers and exited the fitting room. At that point, the associate demanded that I remove and hang the shirt that I had not brought into the dressing room. I explained that it was not mine. She became visibly frustrated, entered the room herself, and then shifted her focus to insisting that I return all of my items to the exact locations on the sales floor where I had found them. I placed the clothing neatly on the rack provided near the fitting room, which is standard practice in most retail stores. I declined to return the items to the sales floor, as that is typically handled by store staff to ensure proper organization. The situation escalated significantly when the associate followed me out of the fitting area and toward the front of the store, continuing to confront me. She then called me a "horrible human being" and used an additional demeaning term toward me. Racially motivated ! Being followed and verbally insulted while exiting the store was both shocking and unacceptable. I think she forgot what her job actually was and that was too curate the clothing, and to rehang them up she had the nerve to continue following me and would have exited the store to follow me. Had someone else stopped her I am a 50-year-old customer who has shopped in retail stores my entire life, and I have never experienced anything remotely like this. This interaction was not only unprofessional but crossed the line into harassment. this incident be investigated thoroughly. No customer should be treated in this manner under any circumstances. I would also appreciate a response outlining what steps will be taken to address this situation and ensure it does not happen to others. Huge thumbs down to this store and this horrible little twit

This was a Lion and Tigers and Bears OH MY situation! It's quite crowded in here. Not cluttered but crowded. They have soooo much stuff and it's all in order. This place could be 2-3 floors easy!! I saw all of my fav brands at great prices. They have a huge selection of high-end wear for a great price. They have a huge selection of summer, spring and winter wear. The cosmetics and body care... chef's kiss!! They have everything in every color/ scent/ size!! Cool accessories, luggage galore, etc. I did not take a gander at the shoes as I had a show nearby to attend. I bought 2 gorge blouses and a short sleeve loose fitting denim blue top. I will revisit very soon for some more shopping greatness.

The edit is solid -- everything from Hermes (yes, I spotted a pair of immaculate riding boots, sadly not my size) to The Row, Prada, Chanel... even some more accessible gems from brands like Mansur Gavriel. I lucked out and found a pair of Prada Monolith loafers that are still available in-store at full price -- except mine were half the cost and looked like they'd maybe been worn once. Maybe. Such a good score, plus I got to support a small business, which always feels better than buying direct from some corporate mega-retailer. And shout out to Julia, who works there -- she was fantastic. Super helpful, super knowledgeable, and when the right shoe went missing (yes, really), she helped me tear the place apart to find it. I had almost given up, but then I spotted a Prada box... and there it was. Victory. All in all: great range, well-curated, and the kind of place where you just might walk out with a designer piece you didn't even know you needed. Definitely one to add to your DC shopping circuit.

Before I could even blink she had a seamstress in from a local shop, who came and got the dress to repair on their dime. I honestly didn't notice the issue until Krista pointed it out, she's got an eagle eye. Krista was amazing at coordinating the dress pickup a few days later. They also offer a great selection of unique gifts and other special items that you can't find at the countless big box stores that have taken over almost everywhere else here now. It's like visiting...Etsy...in person. If such a store existed of course. Obviously only a very very small, and very highly curated BIT of Etsy, but still...it's etsy-esque. In a good way. Well worth a visit. Especially for those "extra hard to shop for" and "already have everything" types. They're also great for the many miscellaneous gift needs that pop up throughout the year for coworkers and teachers and other people you might not know very well and whose gift options fall uncomfortably in between even the classiest target dollar bin options your best friends might love, and the fancier more expensive fare reserved for one's own children, close relatives, spouses... The "I don't really know what, but ideally something special and memorable and cool" gifts for all sorts of things like secret Santas, teacher appreciation, miscellaneous baby/bridal showers, office party exchanges, attempts to gain favor or acceptance from cringey or critical or perfectly lovely mother in laws...etc. This place is perfect for all of those and more. I've found awesome Christmas presents for my mother here two years in a row now, and many fun things for myself as well. Best boutique baby clothes section I've seen in the Arlington area, actually. Oh! And Scout bags galore!
