Best meal we had in Venice and one of the top meals we had in Italy. Amazing food. Good atmosphere. Chef's choice was perfect. Stop in if you have a chance.

So amazing and delicious, a new age twist on classic Italian cuisine! The atmosphere is great. We were a little under dressed, but the servers were as equally kind to us as they were to everyone else. For a bottle of wine, appetizer, two main courses, and a second course we were under 115€

Great local restaurant. Our favorite appetizer was the buffalo mozzarella was creamy and delicious. I ordered the turbot fish and they served it with spinach, very tasty and healthily. The pasta and the tuna were out of this world. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Happiness on a plate.

This place has definitively the best pasta I've eaten in my almost two weeks in Italy. We found it by turning on every street that didn't have people and were eventually hit by hunger, so we just went to the first place we saw and had no expectations. I started with a refreshing bellini and cichetti, but my partner wanted 'real' food so ordered the zucchini and shrimp paccheri. My mind was BLOWN. I thought I knew what al dente meant before- I've had high quality Italian food from all over the world, but this paccheri redefined it for me. Whatever light olive oil they topped it off with packed so much complex umami flavor. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. The slivered zucchini balanced it all out. Also the server we had was really friendly and helped us choose the perfect grappa. If this paccheri is still on the menu when you go, you need to order it.

The service was good and the food was good but the portions were small and the prices relatively high so not worth it.

A combination of a thunderstorm and an early dinner meant the place was empty, but Marco and other staff welcomed us warmly all the same. We had the antipasti Parmigiana Di Melanzane (fried eggplant with cheese) and enjoyed the mains Pasta Al Forno (baked pasta with beef and peas), Pasta Con Le Polpette E Salsa Di Pomodoro (spaghetti with meatballs - not pictured), and Turbante Di Pesce Spada "A Beccafico" (baked swordfish). These were also with the Casa Rosso wine and Birra Siciliana beer both blonde and red. All food was superb. The fried eggplant was flavorful and fresh, and the bread was crispy and savory. The baked pasta was rich, the spaghetti and meatballs were nostalgic, and the swordfish was delectable. Safe to say we all cleared our plates easily. We wish nothing but the very best for Marco and his restaurant. This food was some of the best we had on our two week stay throughout Italy. The atmosphere, staff, and of course the amazing food made for a great experience that we would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced homestyle Sicilian meal.

From the moment we arrived, the owner, Marco, made us feel genuinely welcome. He explained that the food is Sicilian and quite different from what you typically find in Venice, which was exactly what we were hoping for after days of similar menus. The menu is short, focused, and built around family recipes. We ordered the pasta of the day, the roast beef, and the smoked salmon dish, and every single item was fantastic. To finish, we had limoncello made by Marco's mother, and it was absolutely delicious. What really made the evening special was Marco and his family. They were warm, kind, and genuinely happy to share their story with us. We loved hearing about his late father and the lasting impact he had on both the family and the restaurant. One of the most memorable parts of the night was joining in the restaurant tradition of coloring pictures and exchanging them with drawings already hanging on the ceiling. We ended up taking home a picture created by a family member, and it will be making the journey back with us to Carlsbad, California. Without a doubt, this was the best dining experience of our entire trip through Europe. Highly recommended!!

The waiter is very friendly and invite us to have lunch, and menu price look reasonable so let's go for it. We ordered clam and mussels. So amazing and yummy, especially the soup! I really want to finish all of it. The scallop spaghetti is also very yummy. I love this place. Good vibe, friendly service, and most important is the food quality. 5 stars for sure. For dinner in peak season, try to make a reservation as the restaurant is very small. We arrived before our reservation time and were seated immediately inside and greeted warmly by the restaurant owner. We ordered a bottle of wine to start (most under 20 Euros for a 75 ML bottle). For appetizers we ordered the cheese with honey for 13 Euros, absolutely amazing! We also combined this with the local olive oil and fresh bread brought to the table to start as well. For our second course we chose two pastas, the Penne Alla Amatriciana (I think it was around 12 Euros), and the Spaghetti Alla Carbonara (I think it was around 12 Euros as well). Both had extremely fresh homemade ingredients and were out of this world and extreme attention to care in the preparation. For our entree we split the breaded pork chop (I think it was around 20 Euros), including a side of potatoes (similar to the steak fries that you would see in the U.S.) The service was absolutely amazing and we loved dining alongside the owner and his family and meeting the cat that also lives at the restaurant and comes by to greet you during the meal as well. It truly was like you were dining at the home of the owner and is a must try if you are in Venice!
