Many food trucks charge this much and more and I am happy to pay it when it seems like something unique and special and not something I can pick up from a frozen section of a food store. I don't think they use frozen pie shells at DiFaras. If you bought Air Jordans and thought you would play basketball like Micheal Jordan you are in for another disappointing experience. We got: 1. A large sloppy joe platter and requested they make the sandwiches without any dairy (they otherwise come with cheese) 2. A large tray of wraps - they let us customize which wraps which picked v giving us a random assortment 3. A medium sandwich tray of just veggie sandwiches They had a surprising number of vegetarian sandwich options, and all three platters were a huge hit with our guests. Zappia's also delivered on time and for free, which was a really nice surprise too. The prices overall were incredibly reasonable and hundreds of dollars cheaper than another place we called first. We will happily cater from Zappia's again.

We just placed our 3rd order, but the system leaves the customer in the dark and the service reps are not sympathetic. When I shop I want to know what I am paying per product, how similar products compare, and what my options are? Their method for ordering is to read item names (without weights, volume, size, or quantity) off a spreadsheet and check boxes. The sales rep seems to do all sorts of calculations in his head and then tells you when you've selected your total. This is a ridiculous concept. I asked for the information to be written down for me, and for his math to be explained. I even offered to make my own spreadsheet to help myself with information that he gave... he refused and told me it's company policy not to give that information out. I have contacted the company numerous times, and we still get the same experience. If you can deal with unhelpful people and stay sane, then deal with this company. I am not a happy customer, because I want to be an informed customer and that seems impossible with Greater Living Foods.

I sent in requests to at least five different businesses. Hope was by far the easiest to communicate with. She was very responsive to all of my emails, answered all of my questions and helped me figure out the right order. Hope delivers cookies locally which is a huge time saver. She also packaged the cookies in cute individually sealed bags. Also a huge time saver. As for the cookies? They look fantastic and came out exactly as I hoped they would (pics coming soon). Fair prices, professional and most importantly -- the cookies are truly deeelish. I will surely be ordering again when I have custom cookie / dessert needs.
