Gian Marco looks like your average slice and sauce spot, but past the pizza counter in front, there's a quiet, warmly lit dining room nestled in back. The tables are dressed with white tablecloths, but the vibe is welcoming and casual. Our server was prompt and professional. You get warm focaccia and an oil-and-pesto dipping sauce upon being seated. Our group shared a bunch of dishes, and our waiter was very accommodating. The food was phenomenal. The stuffed artichoke had a brown gravy on it, unusual but good. It was well cooked overall but the choke itself was ever so slightly underdone (I like it more tender though it was cooked, not saying it wasn't). The vodka rigatoni was divine. The chicken cacciatore tasted just like gramma used to make, except that hers cooked down all day so that the peppers and aromatics disintegrated. The shrimp parmesan with capellini was delicious. Finally, the tartufo was the perfect finish and was somehow a lighter option to share for dessert, maybe bc of the poofs of airy whipped cream. Really nothing bad to say here! BYOB. Street or garage parking. Mangia!

Nice atmosphere, food was delicious we all enjoyed our dishes and its BYOB . Service was good. Not overpriced either! Took a nice walk afterwards to the park nearby.

Tried the turbot tonight, lightly breaded in a lemon butter wine sauce over tomato and asparagus. It was outstanding. Bon appétit!

Tried the turbot tonight. Very lightly breaded and in a lemon butter, wine sauce over some deliciously, fresh tomatoes, and asparagus. It was outstanding. The boom boom shrimp appetizer was yummy as well. Bon appétit!

What a great place for good Italian food! My brother just moved to millburn and is exploring places to eat. We got takeout because of elderly and toddlers in the family. Everything was delicious probably would have been even better if we have eaten at the restaurant. The chicken parm was still super hot at least 30 mins from after we picked up and it was tasty and tender. All of the pasta dishes were excellent even my picky toddler asked for more. Service was great despite being such a busy restaurant. Would definitely go back again and perhaps dine in next time. The dinning area seems nice also.

Good BYOB italian. Portion size is large and price is reasonable. Zuppa de Pesce and Capellini Mona Lisa are both good. Service is good.

Cooked fresh to order, it was easily some of the best pasta I've ever had. The combination of sausage, broccoli rabe, mushrooms, roasted garlic, and cacio e pepe sauce was absolute perfection. Portions are generous, and the extra side of parmesan was a great touch. I can't wait to come back! PS - there are limited parking spaces in front of the restaurant.

Got the GARLIC-CHEESE FLATBREAD, the EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA, and the MAKE YOUR OWN with penne, meatballs, roasted garlic, and Napolitana Tomato sauce. 4/5 on the first two, 4.5/5 on the MYO. Flatbread would be really good if it were had at the restaurant instead of takeout, however air frying it to crisp up the bread would definitely address that. My GF said the eggplant was good. And the MYO I got was really good. Nice flavorful meatballs, really good sauce, and the roasted garlic was perfect a perfect addition. There was enough of a portion of each dinner for two nights of meals so value-wise, this was an excellent dinner spot. May have to try dine-in next time we come back (and we will be back).

Slightly dim, but well balanced lighting. There is limited street parking, but it sits directly across from a metered parking lot (free after 6pm). This place has a business casual vibe, so I wouldn't recommend dressing down. This place is BYOB!! Friendly staff, service speed is good. You get complimentary warm bread with oil. We had the Fettuccine Cara Mia, Tableside Chicken Parm (easily feed two people), & Lobster Ravioli (which was a special). Everything was absolutely EXCELLENT!! A funny moment when our server came to check on us and all 4 of us were done, lol. He found us with 4 empty plates and 4 full belly's. I got the spicy vodka chicken parm. For $36 it is a massive piece of chicken with a small amount of pasta, and absolutely worth the cost! They bring out the dish of hot melty sauce and cheese and pour it over the fresh cutlet. I enjoyed my entree. The cutlet had no yucky bits, and was breaded perfectly. I couldn't say enough good things about the spicy sauce, too. I loved the spice. The appetizers and desserts were also fantastic. The spicy garlic shrimp and calamari were good. And the tartufo my mom and I split for dessert was great, next time I'll get the tiramisu, my personal favorite. Fed me for 2 meals. Recommend a reservation as it's small and gets crowded. It was a bit warm inside on a Friday night.
